Started 3 days ago from clone. Started LST today, also removed lower branches to encourage growth.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. **Grow Report by Zuppler - Week 1 Flowering Phase** Ayo, what’s good fam? Zuppler back in this b**** with the week 1 flowering update, straight outta the capital. We just flipped the switch to that 12/12, and these girls already know what time it is – they starting to stretch out like they tryna reach for the stars. We runnin’ that Ape Formula from Advanced Nutrients, got the whole squad dialed in on some next-level s***. Feeding them queens like they royalty, nah mean? We keepin' it real precise with that RO water – pure as it gets, no cap. I ain't lettin' no junk minerals mess up the game. We stayin’ locked on that pH balance like a sniper, so the nutes hit right, and them roots keep drinkin’ smooth. So far, no issues – the plants look strong, real healthy. Ain’t no signs of deficiencies, and the leaves stayin’ green like money. The canopy lookin’ good too, spreadin’ out evenly. All them colas just gettin' ready to explode. You already know, we keepin’ everything low stress, tryin’ to maximize that yield without no drama. Temperature’s steady, humidity right where it need to be – we not takin’ no L’s, bro. It’s early days, but the stretch is comin’ in strong. In a minute, these girls gon' be stackin’ up them buds real heavy. I can already tell we ‘bout to be sittin’ on some fire soon. Plant has shown slow but healthy growth since its arrival, LST continues and I've managed to keep the plant at the same height it was last week but now at a horizontal angle. I did up the nutes for one feed to a slightly under recommended dose but in the days following I noticed the plant looking a little 'droopy' and since she has been with me she hasnt been drinking very well so I opted to flush her for a feed, since then she has seemed very happy :) whilst drinking much better (possible nute lock was imminent). Now back down to half doseages with the exception of CalMg (to help after flush) but will be increasing them in the following days. As of next week I will be transferring her and another plant my partner is nurturing into single bucket DWC set ups. Fingers crossed I will see some hearty results for making the crossover to hydro.

This is my very first grow! I would love if anyone could feed me any tips or tricks to making this an easy and successful grow.

Last week with me not here, the girls seem happy still on the photos and videos I’ve gotten from my flatmate. They are very very bushy so apparently it’s hard to close the tent, so will need to do some serious pruning when I’m back at the start of the week.

All three doing extremely well, a little wind burn from wall fans, other than that crushing it eating everything on there pots, and producing dense, sticky, pungent Nugs. All is well!

My second hydro grow and it seems I failed a bit here: 1. Too little defoliation and airflow 2. More light to mid and lower branches. Low light and low airflow made the buds stretch a lot and be airy, not taking much light made them white and mostly tasteless (cardboard taste). Upper branches brings the sweet taste of this strain up but effects were quite low. Even thou the high is enjoyable and taste from upper buds are tolerable. Lower and mid buds gone to trash unfortunately. I'll stop for this Summer with Hydro, but will try my 3th time in winter

The girls are looking healthy. Both Banana Purple Punch autos are yellow on the outer leafes and I don't know why. Maybe someone can help. Peace, Johnny ✌️

I thought I just had two of this strain, but it turns out that the 134g plant was actually a C4 hybrid! It isn't as pungent smelling as the others, but seems to have it's own unique flavor going on.
