I have been very lightly foliar feeding every day a slightly acidic low ppm solution. Lights were put back on timer since the temp and humidity are going back up I don't need the lights for heat. pH has remained steady for past two days in low to mid 5.8s. Is this too steady I wonder 🤔 I put on fans today today as well as under lighting LED strip. D35 Am check-in and all is going well. All 3 Gorilla Zkittlez are absolutely killing it, way bigger than the rest of the bunch. Although the 818 Headbands and the Raspberry Diesel are not far behind. Unfortunately both the Boss Hoggs seems to be runt-ish. One especially is really funny looking. But I always cheer for the under dog in the fight so who knows 😎 Turned off under lighting. D42 - Today is the first day in the sixth week of veg for #2 and the fifth for #1. It has been six days since the first topping for the first girl, so I went ahead and topped her for the second time. I kept a couple of clones from her this time since she is so vigorous. I also had planned to do the third and final topping on the second girl but knew that I had to buy some more soil staples first. However, this morning a red warning showed up in my Corona warn app. It's the first warning I have ever gotten, but I'm triple vaccinated, of course, and I was wearing my N95 mask for this five-minute exposure, but I want to act responsibly and quarantine for a few days, just in case. So I improvised with BBQ skewers and some electrical tape. The skewers won't hold that well, but the branches are still small, so it shouldn't be a problem until I can venture out again. The cover crop was getting a bit unruly again, so I cut it back again. Finally, I gave both girls around 1.2-liters of water @ pH 6.3 and added a couple of qtips with peppermint oil to deter pests. D43 - I gave each girl about two liters of compost tea that I started brewing yesterday. A bit soon, possibly since I watered them only yesterday, but I needed to feed the girls in the other tent, so these girls got some as well. D45 - Aaaaaaaaaarrrrrgggghhhh! Thrips have found their way into the tent. Lately, I've noticed some discoloration on the older leaves but haven't thought much about it. Today though, it was much more pronounced. I took out my loupe and microscope, and sure enough, I could see thrips larvae. Ugh. I ordered some predatory mites immediately to help with the problem, but they won't get here until a few days, and I want to start fighting the infestation as soon as possible. So, I went out shopping and picked up some pure alcohol, chili flakes, and a spray bottle. After soaking the flakes for a couple of hours, I strained the mixture and prepared a 1:10 solution with distilled water in the spray bottle. I removed all older leaves that were affected most and then sprayed all the remaining leaves, taking care to get them soaked on both sides. This chili tincture is nasty stuff, though, and I was coughing like mad, and the snot was flowing like a spring-river. Next time I'll wear a mask! I also sprayed the clones outside the tent and the Chocodope girl in my other tent, just in case. The Colorado Cookies girl is in flower, though, so I couldn't spray her. She has no sign of infestation, but I'll treat her as well with the mites when they get here. D47 - I resprayed the girls yesterday with the chili tincture to ensure I got to all the little critters, and today, the predatory mites arrived. I hung one sachet on each plant, and I hope that's the end of the little buggers. D48 - The end of another week of veg. The second girl thrives after her third topping, and I will do the third and final topping on the first girl in a couple of days. Once that is done, I can install the scrog net. As for the thrips, I can still see larvae, but they are far and few in between. Hopefully, the predatory mites will soon make short work of them. I haven't even flipped yet, but there are already flowers in the tent!!! Alfalfa flowers that is :D

Bud sites are producing black/purple spot in leaves. Bud growth is producing as the days go by. Really excited with this being my first grow Nitrogen boost really helped with the deficiencies. Plants are starting to look really heathy... Prunes lower colas that weren't stretching past the canopy and receiving energy so more energy can be used towards the top buds

This is my first grow I have haze berry critical and northern lights and white widow automatic the baby’s are critical mush and the 2 seedlings are white widow all from RQS can people give me some useful tips and vote for me

She's looking so beautiful,very nice strain to grow for sure,I'm trying to give her a good shape before flowering starts. I add organic liquids nuts only once a week and looks like she loves it,let's keep up the work!! 💚💛❤️🌱🤩

Here's some pictures of late week 1 into week 2. They are still all in their solo cups. In the future, we'll try to label them in the soil so the pictures will show which seed is which. For now, the names are written on the sides of each cup - just can't see that from the pics. TOTAL = 6 cups, all different seeds. Here's the list of seeds that have remained since we started: - Rubber Match by Secret Society Seed Co (regular seed)* x1 (down from 2) status: first seed just didn't pop and never started growing. 2nd seed is doing fine. :) - Something Good by Twenty20 Mendocino (feminized) x1 status: doing fine. - Acapulco Gold by Barney's Farm (feminized) x1 status: doing fine. - Purple Lemonade by FastBuds (Auto) x1 status: doing fine. - Skywalker by NASC (feminized) x1 status: doing fine. - ADDED: Glue Sniffer by Twenty20 Mendocino (feminized) x1 status: started 1x Glue Sniffer, and it is doing fine. (germination week 1 in paper towel) BONUS!!! We found some more NASC freebies!! We have 3x of the Blueberry Cupcake x MAC1 by Humboldt pheno and Girl Scout Cookies (feminized) by NASC. So, we might start one of those if space permits. To conclude week1, the current sprouts are growing in their cups. They are all looking comfortable and are reaching for the wonderful, southern sunlight. We're looking forward to the next weeks of vegetation and eventually transferring them into larger pots in a few more weeks time - all while we wait for some more warmer days ahead. One thing we noticed is that they seem to do much of their growing overnight! But maybe it's because we aren't looking at them as much LOL

Haze 1 presented as male and was promptly culled from the room, leaving Haze 2 as a confirmed female. With the open space, Skunk #1 has been moved in alongside her. It's a solid lineup to have two foundational genetic legends growing side-by-side. The Haze stretch is also living up to its reputation. The vertical growth has been aggressive, with the plants more than doubling in size, jumping from 16 inches to 34 inches. Additionally, I've observed that both the Haze 2 and Skunk 2 plants are consistently going into shock for a full day after watering. I am certain this is due to the water temperature being too low. Moving forward, I will be upping the water temp from 64°F to 72°F to eliminate the stress response.

The temperatures, humidity, height, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil to be spread evenly on top of the soil. Day 1 we had a high temperature of 81°F with partly cloudy skies. We missed the 50% chance of rain today. I watered 4-5 gallons per pot, once. Day 2 we had a high temperature of 71°F with cloudy overcast skies. It's rained most of the morning with more rain in the forecast. Day 3 we had a high temperature of 77°F. We had a big front move through today. It been raining and overcast all day. The girls seem to be loving it, but I'll need to treat for powdery mildew again ASAP. Day 4 we had a high temperature today of 83° F. Skies were cloudy to partly cloudy and it rained for several hours. Day 5 we had a high temperature of 91°F. We had rain overnight and early morning. The skies were partly cloudy and I didn't have to water today. Day 6 we had a high temperature of 90°F. Skies were sunny and I watered 4-5 gallons per pot once. I treated with Growers Ally Fungicide just before dark. Day 7 we had a high temperature of 90°F. Skies were sunny and it wasn't as humid as it's been. I watered about 5 gallons per pot ,once, from the well. This week was a success. We had pretty miserable weather for cannabis. Lots of rain and cool nights. The girls began to pick up a little powdery mildew through all that. I treated on day 6 after we got a break from the rain. They responded great. The pm cleared up and they really grew during all that rain. The buds are beginning to smell sweet and are starting to build up trichromes. The other grows grew a little less than these in height. These wch really like to get big. That said I expect the upward growth to slow drastically this week as the plants focus more on flower production. They're still feeding out the nutrients I added to the soil. I may start using a liquid feed formula but will wait and see how the plants flower development goes.
