🌱 Day 57 - Start of the Second-to-Last Flowering Week 🌱 Hello, Grow Friends! Today marks the start of the second-to-last flowering week—Week 9 overall, and Week 5 of flowering. 🌿 I’m getting more and more excited as my first grow nears its end. As I approach harvest, I’ve decided, based on my research, to stop feeding nutrients and stick to just pH-adjusted water for the final two weeks. 💧⚖️ Watering Routine: I’ll keep the same watering schedule—1 liter every two days, which is about 10% of the pot volume. 🌱💧 This should be enough to flush out the remaining nutrients, ensuring a clean finish for the plant. Temperature & Humidity: The temperature remains stable between 19-23°C, which I believe is ideal for this stage of the grow. 🌡️🍂 No more high temperatures to worry about! The humidity is fluctuating between 45-58%, and I’m keeping a close eye on it to stay below 60%. 💧🔍 Everything seems on track for now. 🌿 Plant Health & Growth: The plant still looks very healthy overall. 🌱💪 However, I’ve noticed that in the past three days, there haven’t been any visible changes in the size of the buds. 🤔 It could just be that I’m not seeing the growth clearly, but the only noticeable change is the daily opening of new flower calyxes. 🌸 Harvest Preparation: I’m already getting my equipment ready for drying after harvest. 🛠️ Once it’s time to cut, I’ll be hanging the plant to dry for the first 10 days. 🌿✂️ I want to make sure everything is set for a smooth drying process. Due to the trichome pictures I took on Day 61—which you can check out too—I’ve made an unexpected decision to harvest my plant a bit earlier than planned and make some changes. 🌿 Watering and Flushing: The last time I watered was on Day 61, using all the usual nutrients at the doses I mentioned before. But after seeing the trichome pictures, I decided to start a light flush today. I gave the plant 4 liters of plain water to begin flushing and will now only water lightly on Day 64. After that, no more water until harvest on Day 67. 🌑 Dark Period: From Day 66 to Day 67, I plan to keep the plant in darkness. I’m not entirely sure if this will make a difference, but I’m curious to try it out. ✂️ Defoliation: The plant is doing well, and I’ve done a thorough defoliation. I removed all leaves that aren’t sugar leaves or directly attached to the buds to improve air circulation and reduce the risk of mold as I approach the end of the grow. 💭 Trimming Decisions: I’m still undecided about whether to do a wet trim or a dry trim. Based on what I’ve read, especially regarding the yield from trim, I’m leaning towards dry trimming, as it might give me more usable trim material. I can feel the plant entering its final phase, and I’m getting really excited about the results and what the next few days will bring. Remember, I post a video update every day. Just got done with trimming the 4x4 @greenhouseseedco Super Silver Haze / @blimburnseeds Silver Surfer Haze tent. The final yield is exactly 1000g plus some (kind of a lot)that I smoke in the last 2 weeks 😃 Also got 6, gallon size ziploc bags filled with good quality trim for concentrate. To be honest I was expecting a little more but keeping in mind that this grow I did not supplemented with bottled CO2 I think I’m good with the results. Definitely I enjoyed a lot this grow and I’ve learned even more.

Day 21: A steady week finishing their stretch this week. They have staked their claim to their spaces well but the C Banana could find herself hidden by the Monster and her other friend Fruity Gorilla Sorbet. She is slap bang in the middle and they are both very bushy neighbours. She has some great growth broke through the canopy and will be easy to manage Monster Zkittelz has got very dominant at the back corner. She has spread out so well and will be a very good size once she hits harvest. Lots of growth going on below stairs and her stems look good to support some nice big colas. Be safe and sane Growmies.

I didn't get to this until midweek. Humidity was higher than I like and soil moisture was low. Rotated this plant 90 degrees clockwise to ensure even light. Added 36 oz of water on top of what the drippers are delivering. Drippers were also moved 90 degrees to ensure even soil moisture. Humidity was lowered to 45%. Starting flush this week. Began with pH'ed water only in the dripper. Will be adding water only with no nutrients for the rest of the week. Pistils are about 50% brown and the trichomes are getting cloudy. Buds are looking good. This plant still has about a week until harvest. By the end of the week the buds are filled out. The pistils have mostly turned brown. The trichomes are clear, milky, AND amber... in the same view. Many shots are both clear and amber. I want a more active high so this plant is coming down next week. I think it is ready. It is very confusing seeing so many clear and amber trichomes on the same bud.

Clockwise from bottom left: GDP fem bulk sees, Bubba Diagonal (pre98 bubba x Triangle Kush) from grassroots, Juicy Gushers from Atrium cultivation, and Kush mints bottom right. Juicy Gushers is the loudest and sweetest in veg by far..like cardamom, read it is won award for 30% outdoor thc. Great sturdy stems. Bubba d is most bushy by stems snap easily. The gdp rub is great and nice serration leaves. Kush mints is pretty good indica structure. I got clones off all.

Harvest in week 10 with a good amount 50g dry 😜😉 Smooth smoke not a couchlocker a good all day smoke for sure!

The lower budsites have come in nicely over the last couple weeks and I finally got a digital microscope to inspect the trichomes. I have a few amber so far with some cloudy but majority are still clear. I think I have a week or two left before I chop her. She has one more watering+feeding left before I start the flush in about this time next week assuming I get some more cloudy+amber trichomes before then, if not I will continue with current feeding schedule until I'm satisfied.

Smoke report! 10/10/20 tastes are tropical with a citrus hint and pine! Also tastes like it has some gas on it too can feel the power in every blast! Feels like euphoric a lot of day dream happy thoughts great for music and day smoke puts you in the best of moods! Not much to say on a negative as it tastes so good your mouth waters lol but could say makes you very very sleepy 😴 thank you for popping by check out them tones and fades 😍 Was amazing to grow! Ran into no problems along the way she literally just grew and grew! She showed her beauty from early and was shining through colours of purple/red even on the leaves! And her smell “oh my” is exclusive like sherbet and citrus and fruit and candy! I’ll add more photos after cure and also a smoke report! Want to allow this to cure about 2 weeks before I even try her!

30 Jan 2022 Grow tent running now 30 days now. Oldest plant is about 20 days old and youngest plant is about 10 days old. Of the 9 plants 8 plants are doing great only the 2nd Blueberry Banana is suffering a bit, i'll keep an eye on it if don't get better in a few i'll remove and I change it with a new seed. In the pass week i moved the lamp at 40cm from the ground and till yesterday i runned the lap at 75% of his power , from today 30-1 the lamp is running at 100% of his power. Day 72 - 07/01/20 This one was the only survivor of my 4 x RQS diary. my blueberry auto, jack herer auto and GG auto didnt sprout but the diesel did and here is her harvest! I added some nice photos of the plant and the yield was 325g wet weight. Should be over an ounce once its dried. Update - Dry weight was 30g although much of the bud is small :) Ive been curing for a few days and its insane how the flavour and burn changes throughout curing :) Update - Day 78 - 13/01/20 The sweet diesel smell and taste is coming through. buds are becoming more and more enjoyable to smoke as days go by. :) il post a few pictures later tonight! Added the photos of some buds and a video so you can all have an opinion on how my buds turned out visually. let me know in the comments :) Il do a few more curing updates to let you know how the second week of curing goes! Day 86 - 21/01/20 I finally finished the NYCD after about 2 weeks of curing. It smokes fairly well and is definitely the best thing ive grown so far :) Buds developed quality and a sweet earthy diesel flavour/aroma over the 2 weeks of curing. one major improvement i would make is to source high quality soil as i really struggled to flush this properly. even still without lab quality conditions ive never felt so depression free since ive been taking this medicine regularly. to finish up i will say that I liked the NYCD diesel taste but i still preferred sour diesel. The plant grew to a reasonable height around 60cm and produced an ounce of average bud. and I might not have won any GD competitions, but im still a winner! :'D Lucky for us I just started an Sour Diesel Auto from fastbuds so you can check that out to see what i thought of it compared to this one :)

Over all was an amazing grow, super sticky dense nugs with smell of berries, highly recommended for everyone!!

Well as the strain that was completely making my grow room stink I'm glad she is down finally . Anyone looking for some stinky buds and a girl who can give you nice compact buds and a good amount look no further .I'm going to run these girls again sometime soon as they were just so dam good at taking what ever I threw at them ..They had no nutrient burn or lockout issues , they lived high humidity and never showed stress . They could go with out water for an extended time and recover no problem . The team that did these girls really made a winner here I would recommend this one to anyone out there looking for easy to grow plants with a good return .. cheers canna family check me out on instagram @cannibal19888

Day 35 - few pics and vids..... everything going along nicely 👍 This is a pretty big update, so i'll add to it over the next few days, as i finish building it all.... i'm building these 2 x SS haze, the full tent, just finishing up the setup..... trimming them, changing solutions to 12/12 and flower..... changed the exhaust fan and filter setup to the better outside the tent method.... and installed 12v CPU computer fan, lol ("alta9" fits in 4in ducting perfectly), drops wattage on extractor fan.... 10w tops... got a few kg of active carbon and making/replacing the carbon filter .... i'll add afew vids of the new setup in afew days... Day 36 - few pics/vid of new tent setup...... "alta 9" fan :) post tomorrow after i finish trimmin and settin up night mode etc...... and into tomorrow we go, lol ... Day 37.... slowly getting there..... little bit more to go... this should make things abit more interesting..... right tank (short babie) has : 19 lts of tap water @18oC + 150 ml -dutch master one gold FLOWER.... 6.4 PH - 1400 PPM left tank has : 19 lts of tap water @18oC + 50 ml of elements a and 50ml of b and 10 ml of nitro and 20ml of Crystalic (molasses/pot) .... 6.5 PH - 1200 PPM more pics / vids of the finished tent setup.... roots, transfer, etc... Day 37 is alot of vids of the clean and change to flower..... edit - day after build noticed left tank (nutrifield) not enough bubbles..... pulled out the 4 air pump and swapped to the 2 x original oxipumps... much better, also to fix the problem with ph goin high, and bubbles not stirin the mix, was to add another 10ml of crystallic and another 5ml of nitro... then pumped both tanks with ph down and set em to 5.8-6.2 - both plants have fully recovered from the big trim, and bounced back within 12-24hrs, post pics/vid in abit..... Day 39 - made a freaky video... was curious about what the plants would see looking up at the lights... the lights and buzzing of air compressors and bubbling tank water, and dazzling lights turned out pretty cool in vid editor, was in selfie mode.... and final vid of the bounceback from trim :) 👍😎
