* ************** Week 5 - May 9 to 15, 2020 - Days 29 to 35 from germination **************** * Nice growth week. Notice some brown spotting early in week. I felt that I could get the pH in line with feeding at 5.0 last week but it didn’t work. Flushed her early on as the pH was over 7.0 when testing the run off. On Sunday she was given a 43L flush to bring her down from the 7.2 she was found to be at. After the 43L she came down to 220ppm and 6.3pH. Going in was 60ppm and 4.4pH, used bottled water. Environment being kept over 60% has been a struggle some days but its coming. Still dialing in some of the light intensity this week by raising and lowering. One of the downsides to multiple strains in one environment but its good👌 Little more detail....... May 9/20 - Day 29 - 2L feed - CalMag, Piranha, VooDoo, Rezin, Liquid Weight @ 1ml, Massive, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml/L - 1000ppm and 5.1pH going in. - Runoff numbers 530ppm and 7.2pH....too high - She was falling asleep a little early so I decreased the light intensity. - She is showing some signs of brown spotting - Tight node spacing.....see how stretch goes. May 10/20 - Day 30 - need some run off numbers as things are funky. - Flushing hard today - 43L flush going in over roughly half hour. 60ppm and 4.0pH - run off numbers were 220ppm and 6.3pH. - back in line.....keep the feeds light. May 11/20 - Day 31 - 1.5L feed - VeloKelp, Rezin, Liquid Weight @ 1ml, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml - 900ppm and 4.3pH - She is falling asleep too soon. Roughly 2 hours early - Root mass still a little small and she cant take the nutrients quick enough?? May 12/20 - Day 32 - dry out day - let her be......as they say😀 May 13/20 - Day 33 - she likes it dry so.....give her another👊 - again.....let her be right now and let her grow May 14/20 - Day 34 - 4L feed - Rhino, CalMag @ 1ml, Rezin @ 2ml, Liquid Weight, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml, Massive @ 3ml = 1075ppm and 5.3pH - run off numbers 575ppm and 6.6pH. - feel she is a little thick down low. Removed leaves in closer to main stem. - she is close to LST for the side branching. May 15/20 - Day 35 - dry out day - she has definitely started flower this week. - she is happy but not 100% tips up......keep working on the environment. Week 5 wrapped and on to week 6 now. She is one of the large girls in the grow and doing well. Big leaves and taking the nutrients well!!

Just a perfect outdoor grow, after last year I wasn't very confident that the plants would finish, but the dry weather helped a lot. It's about the journey too for me, just love to see them grow everyday, combat problems and have a big community here that's always willing to help!

I had originally planted 2 purple kush and 2 fucking incredible autoflower seeds by crop king seeds. 1 purple kush never sprouted. So I planted in its place a white widow.

So far it seems to be fine even if the high humidity worries me even if the temperatures are still high then they have stopped growing and will finally focus on the flowers and slowly we recover these small deficiencies

Chance of a Lifetime Greenhouse Seeds Competition Wonder Pie 8th May 2020 When I first saw that Greenhouse seeds were running a Worldwide competition I was amazed because Australia does not normally get included in such things, especially involving Cannabis. But I knew straight away that this was the chance of a Lifetime for me so I applied straight away. When I got the email saying I was in I was over the moon with happiness. The Contest will see the winning Diary/Grower win a trip to Amsterdam for two with accommodation in the apartment above the famous Green House smokeshop. To be in the running I simply applied to grow one of their chosen strains with their own Nutrients (greenhouse feeding) I picked and was very luckily accepted to grow the "Wonder Pie" strain alongside the Greenhouse feeding Bio Feed Range. Here is a little bit of info on the "Wonder pie" strain courtesy of Seedfinder.eu Wonder Pie, sweet, fruity and petrol aroma It is a wonderful hybrid between two really powerful lineages, Wedding Cake Cannabis Strain (aka Triangle Mints: Triangle Kush x Animal Mints) and OG Kush (Chemdawg x [Lemon Thai x Hindu Kush, Pakistan)]. It produces tall plants with a vigorous and branchy development with flexible but strong branches. All feeds will be from the Greenhouse feeding bio nutrients range, that came with the seeds for the purpose of this competition. To win this would be a dream come true as I have always wanted to travel to Amsterdam ever since watching Cheech n Chongs Movie Still Smokin back in the 1980's as a teenager. The first steps to starting my grow are preparing my grow area, which involves a thorough cleaning with bleach. Then I set up lights and fans etc and test it all to make sure everything is working. Then on the 4th of May I recieved the seeds in the mail and immediately began to soak four seeds in some tepid water overnight before transferring them into a moistened piece of paper towel then into a ziplock baggie for another 12 hours. From there all germinated seeds will go into the rockwool cubes for about a week before being moved into the final grow out pots. From there they will veg for 7-8 weeks before I flip to 12/12 and flower them accordinly. As of today (8th May 2020) I have 3 healthy seedlings from the four seeds I soaked. So now they are up it's officially Game On 🙏 I am still waiting for the Greenhouse Feeding to arrive but thats ok because I won't need it for about a week. I chose 12 Litre Fabric pots because of the height limitations in my Grow tent (need a bigger one but cant afford it at the moment ) as soon as the powdered feeding arrives I'll mix the required amounts straight into the pots so they are ready for when I transplant the seedlings into them. Final Report: Grow: The plants has grown very beautiful and healty without pests and diseases. They grown bushy and with medium height during all the life cycle. I had try to use LST in third veg week but i did't made correctly and after that i dicided to return to grown normally without any particolar tecnique. I used a littel more fertilizer then mine usual and that made the plants grown fast with only a littel bit of leaf margin burn which I solved by decreasing the quantity. In the first two weeks of flowering stage the plants started grow not to very tall (except for one) and the number of the branches increase, in this phase i only defoliated when the fan leaves turn yellow in late stage. During all flowering stage the flowers grown but they remained very soft, they turned dense and bigger in the last weeks and this time i waited until almost all of them were mature before harvest the plants(I waited a littel more respect OG Kush CBD). I changed the taller plant from one grow room to another(in the sixth week) when she became too high and she couldn't stay more in the smaller grow box(nothing changed in the enviroment between the two boxes). Equipment and grow box: The enviorment of grow box has been optimized every stage with the right temperature, umidity and air flow. Vegetative temp/umidity --> 23-29 °C/45-55% Flowering temp/umidity --> 20-26 °C/40-50% The air flow was created by two pc fans and one big fan. Harvest: This time the plants were full of dense buds but the lower branches had many fluffy flowers(i used them to make some hash) but the result not change too much . The result of this grow is amezing compared to my old expiriences. I harvested the flower and i made a fast curing process after i washed the crop and i let them to dry with a fan on it. After five days a take the branches which were to dry and i did the final trimmig before put all the harvest in a open jar for finishing to dry. I collected all the leaves, fluffy buds and trimming scraps in a bag and i let them dry. I harvested the taller plant before the other two because she had matured earlier(with the OG Kush ladies). Later i put the bag in the freezer and when i collect and dried all the scraps from OG Kush and Dandoverde Haze i did some Ice-O-Lator hash. I used 250g of trimming stuff and i made 11.50 g of hash, I had use a set of 5 bag and i take the resin from the 160µ - 120µ - 73µ- 25µ bags. I pressed all the resin in a great block of tasty strong hash. Always better every time 😊💪 Total harvest ---> 126g only of dense buds and 11.50g of hash.

Last week was a short one, decided to chop them on day 80. Both plants weigh at 800g wet, hoping to get a bit over 100g dry. They could probably go for another week to get fatter, but I was feeling ready looking at the trichomes. Hope the dry slow, I can't get RH above 50% so hoping that won't be so bad.

The Permanent Markers are finally taking off! They've at least doubled in height since last week. Of course, they're still really small, but it's cool to see them finally getting going. They look healthy and are developing nicely. Well, another year has come and gone. Yesterday was New Year's Eve, and I want to wish all of you a happy and healthy 2025. Black Strap and Peach Crescendo getting close. I see they will get cut way before the Fat Bastard. Fat Bastard must have a long flowering period. But branch structure is thick. I will get a heavy yield from it. Peach Crescendo has so much frost on it. Ethos fkn rocks! Black Strap smells like baked cookies and gas.

Week 3 (30/03 - 05/04) D15: - D16: added a layer of light mix soil to fill the pot and to sustain the plant. 1ml of Root-juice in 0.5 l of tap water @ pH 7 D17: - D18: glass of tap water D19: - D20: 1ml of Root-juice in 0.5 l of tap water @ pH 7 D21: 1ml of Root-juice, 0.5ml of Bio-grow in 0.5 l of tap water @ pH 6.3 (corrected with 0.25ml of Terra Aquatica pH-)

Smells amazing! Survived some mad heat towards the end of flowering. still looking so frosty! 4 plants Harvested and we got 9oz plus an Oz n half of shake n small buds. update in few weeks once its cured out for abit! Thanks for following! 👽👽

Tip - Before every watering I ensure to leave the water rest for a minimum of 24-36hours to allow for chlorine dissipation.
