Runtz Automatic - Zamnesia Day 63 - This beautiful girl is less than a week from harvest, so for the past two waterings sessions, she has received just pain RO tap water, pH'd to 6.3. This process is known as "flushing" and it is essential to remove salt built up in the soil and plant. I will flush her over the next few days, allowing her soil to dry back to around 10% before I flush her again - I will do this step three or four times before I harvest. I've also removed a good portion of her fan leaves, to allow any bud site that might have been covered, to get a final weeks worth of direct light. Notes: - she is foxtailing in some parts, but not in others and the PPFD is in a normal range (800-1200) for this stage, so I'm assuming this is a genetic defect!? The Papaya Zoap and Do-Si-Dos, which are directly to her left and right, are a couple of weeks behind, and are not showing signs of foxtailing... Either way, she is just for me, so I'm not too worried about it, if anything, it makes her more beautiful! - her aroma is very sweet with some earthy undertones, very typical for Runtz. - the color on her cola's has changed in places, from green to purple, which is just beautiful! - around 90% of her trichomes are milky with around 2-5% being amber and 5% clear. - the majority of her pistils have turned orange, with some white pistils appearing from new growth only. - I could have started flushing her a few days earlier, but she still looked like she was bulking; that has now stopped.

Week 7, we are in full flower and I show you the feeding today, very simple and not much to it. The plant drinks this 25 liter tank empty like nothing, that's a good sign, she takes in the nutrients and grows rapidly. Still cleaning some leaves and branches here and there, will update when we made some more progress, so far everything is going well.

The stretch was in full swing this week 🌸 Both plants showed strong vertical growth, with the flowering transition now clearly underway. • Height approx. ~90 cm • Strong vertical expansion • Stretch phase fully active Light intensity was increased to ~850 PPFD ☀️ and the fixture had to be raised slightly as the plants continued growing closer to the light. To improve light penetration, around 4–6 large fan leaves were removed ✂️ • Pheno #1 continues to grow more evenly, with side branches spreading outward and staying closer in height to the main top. Leaf posture also differs between the phenotypes: • Pheno #2 shows strong praying, especially in the upper canopy ☀️ • Pheno #1 shows more moderate praying Water demand increased during the stretch phase: • ~4L per watering until runoff 💧 Feeding this week: • 1x Orgatrex • 1x Greenhouse Bio Enhancer • Otherwise water + BioBizz CalMag Environment remained stable: • ~25°C temperature • ~55% RH 🌡️ White pistils are now clearly visible across the plant, especially on Pheno #2, confirming the transition into early flower. Overall this week showed strong stretch, increasing flower formation, and very clear phenotypic differences between the two plants ?🔥

Dos Si Dos # 33 ready for drying in the jar, honest weight (53,5g) seeing the structure which was very small I would have expected something less.. but I am very satisfied. the quality of this weed is absolutely at the top, the taste is very well defined.. when smoked it makes your nose tingle,flavor it is mainly pure lemon with a hint of mint in it. even the strong smell induces an entire room in a few seconds without even smoking it yet. I also collected a 0.4g of scissor hash which turned out very well. it is my favorite in this crop because it surprised me in everything both for its unique terpene profile and for its yield that I never expected given its size compared to wedding cakes. the total weight therefore of all three plants is (135.5g) and a total trim of (44.9g) that according to the calculations even of these crops I reached (1g/watt) precisely. (And im not a pro) I am certainly satisfied with that. 🙌🏻💚

So Update! Ich habe alle leicht entlaubt und getoppt. Sie haben das Toppen gut weggesteckt und wachsen weiter. Ca 4 große Fächerblätter pro Pflanze entfernt die im unteren Bereich Triebe verdeckt haben. Heute wird wieder gegossen. Die Töpfe sind sehr leicht und ich gebe heute auf jeden Fall 2 Liter Wasser und steigere dann nächste Woche auf 2,5 Liter. Bis nächste Woche gehe ich davon aus dass sie dann den gesamten Topf mit Wurzeln erschlossen habe. Werde nächste Woche mit leichtem LST beginnen um alle Triebe auf gleiche Höhe anzupassen. Sonntag nächste Woche werde ich auf 12/12 umstellen und die Blüte einleiten. Ab dann gebe ich ca 3-4 Liter pro Gießgang. Aber das wird sich noch zeigen. Jetzt verwendet: - Plagron Power Roots additive - Plagron Pure Zym additive - Plagron PH minus PH angepasst auf 6,5 Ich habe sehr hartes Leitungswasser, daher muss ich selbst bei organischem Grow den PH anpassen. Die Erde alleine bekommt das auf lange Sicht nicht ausreichend gepuffert. Nochmal zum Setup: 2x Prima Klima Lucilu Shuttle 6 - aktuell 70% Ca 40 cm über den Damen - 550 ppfd im Durchschnitt 15 Liter Stofftöpfe Plagron Royalmix Bin gespannt wie es weiter geht. What's good growmies! This plant REEKS Even with the air being vented outside trough a carbon filter, the room still has a weak "eau de Stracciatella" I don't have the vocabulary or nose to place the scents like some growers can, all I know is, its f-ing loud and she's only mid flower, I *cannot* wait to smell this baby when she is cured. I'm following Plagron's Feeding Shedule, I posted it a few weeks back, I dropped all organic additives, however, so no Sugar royal, no Pure Zym and sure as f no Power Roots, even though I contacted Plagron and have been told these additives work wonders in Hydro, I just can't, it makes the water black, gunk collects around my roots and pumps, if anyone has any advice or insight as to what I'm doing wrong, please let me know, But my gut is telling me I do not have the money or equipment for Organics, the fact that I'm expected to replace 50 liters of reservoir every 48 hours in and of itself is a massive deterrent. that rant aside, Green Sensation is obviously doing work, however, I noticed my EC rising all the way up to *2.4* this week! which is absolutely no bueno, a couple of fan leaves started showing some burnt tips, Luckily its DWC and a quick adjustment with a few liters of plain Ph'd water immediately stopped that. Why was my EC rising? well the logical answer is Overfeeding! plant is not taking all the food I'm giving her so as the water gets taken up, the nutrients become more concentrated, so to fix that I'm halving my Green sensation dose, DWC kicks ass when it comes to this, there is little guessing, and a lot is measured. and as we all know, what gets measured gets managed. This Diary is on cruise control, I don't think aside from watching those nuggies fatten up, there will be much change in this garden from here on out. I'm starting another Diary soon, Zamnesia send me some Runtz to grow and show the world, which is great because I was planning to grow some legendary Runtz anyway! 😉 got a closet I'll be turning into a Autoflower/Veg tent, get some babies started in there using kratky, then once the time for flower comes, drop em into RDWC Thanks for stopping by this week and observing my baby's development, she's quite a slow finisher, but I'm growing fond of her. Terrible weeks weather again so I brought my plants in and bought some cfls woke up in the morning and one had fell off cabinet and burnt one plant to a crisp !! Lesson learnt

Scrog is filling up nicely. This may be the final week before starting 12/12. Plants are looking good and feeling good so I think it's time to flip the switch. Just filling out the scrog a bit more. Going to defoliate a bit more at the bottom and next week is flowering. Contest Pheno seems to be the largest in the top right corner. Scrog is keeping it nice and level as possible. A bit stretchy she is. But very fast growth on her.
