Greetings my dear Jungletamers, So a major surprise came when @MarsHydroLED contacted us and asked if would like to try out their new SP 3000 light. Being a fan of Mars Hydro for years, we of course accepted their offer. We are totally in love with this light. I was when I saw it in another grower's setup and was in awe of its output and results. So with much pride and thankfulness for the presents the Universe bestowed on us, in the form of MarsHydroLEDS offer and the bountiful harvest of the last grow, (which I am thoroughly enjoying btw, such a great weed to have grown ourselves) we start out on a new adventure that we can't wait to share with you. With many lessons learned from the previous grow, a mighty producing strain in the form of Expert Seeds Gorilla Glue #4, a.k.a Expert Gorilla's and a tweaked super soil mixture, we are setting out to hopefully get over a gram per watt, preferably 1.5. The Setup A 4.5 (140 cm) x 2(70) x 6.2 (200) grow tent, giving me a .98 m2 workspace. This space is customized to my needs. A standing fan will provide airflow through the whole grow, a top fan will help guide cooler air past my lights onto the grow. 3 56 ltr pots will be the home for the plants when they are 2 weeks old, up to then in smaller jars. The Light The leading role and star of the show will be played by the Mars Hydro SP-3000, so kindly provided by MarsHydroLED, which we will test and review here and I might say, endorse. I'm very careful with who I endorse and support these days, but a company with that many wins in design, I'm talking ever since their first range came out in 2009 these guys have been raising the bar for the whole industry, I did not hesitate to support this leading brand. If you want to compete with these guys, you better bring some quality AND affordable pricing. Why do I endorse the SP-3000 without ANY hesitation? It is seriously THE BEST light on the market in this price range and size group. It has an enormously effective output in U/Mol and with 30% less energy waste comparing to older LED lights. Prove me wrong! And with a company holding a considerable market share selling thousands of units every month, competing on price and quality, one would think that customer service would suffer. Of course, also Mars Hydro is not perfect, but check the sheer amount of people that not only praise the light but also the service received, should the light somehow not perform up to par. It is this dedication to their customer base that made this company have a fanbase... Yes, a fanbase with a website and a wiki. Lineage: Chem Sis x Chocolate Diesel x Sour Dubb Popularity: Extremely Popular Flavor/Aroma Profile: Chocolate, Earthy, Fuel Yield: 400 g/m2 Stress Tolerance: High resistance to disease Potency: 24% THC Flowering time: 58 - 63 days The Soil: Those who saw my Monstercropped Gelato #33 grow (you should see it if you didn't, I'm so proud of that grow), know about my super soil and organic nutrients/ permaculture tea combo that starred in my previous diary. Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. On this I started layering the coco coir, Bi-grow, peat, castings, and amendments in a way that the more mature the plants get, the more phosphorous and less nitrogen they will find. Every time I made three layers, I would mix them by hand. This way we simulate natural soil, which consists of humic layers, composting plant waste, fungal and microbial life, and nutrients from fossilized sources. The Nutrients I will start with just adding 6.4 PH water, although this soil should buffer ph itself and regulate, after 4 weeks, I'll slowly be adding: - Biobizz Grow - Plagron Alga Grow - Biobizz CalMag - Biobizz Flower - Plagron Alga Flower - Biobizz Topmax - Melasses The Tea Some of you might remember the permaculture tea from my previous grow, I have a short video in my harvest page showing how we make it), it will star again in this grow. - (Rain)water - Comfrey (whole plants) - Dandelion leaves - Roots and leaves from the earlier grow - Minor periwinkle (Finca minor) is a plant we have in our garden, it contains an alkaloid that is associated with increased brain function but also is a light toxin for wee beasties and other unwanted guests like gnats (who hate it). - When flowering I add some wood ash to this mix Thank you for checking in on one of my grows again! Hace un par de días le he dejado de dar nutrientes y he suspendido todo tipo de alimentación para terminar con una cosecha más limpia. Ahora solo toca ir aumentando el volumen de riego e intercalar los riegos de agua sola y enzimas para aprovechar todo el alimento que pueda quedar en el sustrato y así lograr la cenecencia.

She got the chop and is now in the process of drying out stoked to see how she yield and ends this journey. She smells so good and is sOo sticky. Amazing.

One plant showing moderate magnesium deficiency. The other 2 plants are looking good, with one other plant also have slight magnesium deficiency. I will up the cal-mag for them next feed.

So this marks the beggning of week three veg for these fabulous lady's . One of them is still catching up to the other because she keeps deciding to do weird things haha . I'm starting my nutrient cycle this week to help them kick it into veg drive ! Semaine 2 – Croissance Mother Gorilla On continue sur une bonne lancée avec cette deuxième semaine de croissance ! La plante est bien vigoureuse, elle a clairement pris du volume depuis la semaine dernière. J’estime qu’elle a quasiment doublé de taille, on est maintenant aux alentours de 15-16 cm. C’est un bon signe, elle se plaît dans son environnement et ça se voit aussi au niveau des racines : elles ont bien évolué en quelques jours, bien blanches et en pleine forme. Côté constantes, on reste sur 18h de lumière par jour. La température oscille entre 22-23°C en journée et descend à 18°C la nuit, donc l’amplitude reste raisonnable. Niveau pH, il a un peu bougé et est monté à 6, mais rien d’inquiétant. Je vais surveiller s’il continue de grimper, et si besoin, je le redescendrai à 5,8. Pour l’humidité, j’ai baissé légèrement à 70 %, et je prévois de continuer dans cette direction la semaine prochaine pour descendre entre 60 et 65 %. L’objectif est de garder un VPD entre 0,4 et 0,8 max, histoire de rester dans une bonne fourchette pour la croissance. Aucune modification sur la plante pour l’instant : je ne l’ai pas encore topée, je préfère lui laisser encore une semaine d’acclimatation avant de commencer le travail de structure. Même chose pour la solution nutritive, je suis toujours sur la même que la semaine dernière. Pour l’instant, pas de signe de carence ou de besoin particulier, donc je continue comme ça. En résumé, tout roule ! La plante est en bonne santé, ses feuilles sont bien larges, et son système racinaire est top. On va continuer sur cette lancée et voir comment elle évolue la semaine prochaine ! 🇺🇸Week 2🇺🇸 – Mother Gorilla Growth We’re still on track with this second week of growth! The plant is looking strong and has clearly bulked up since last week. I’d say it has almost doubled in size, now standing around 15-16 cm. That’s a great sign—it’s thriving in its environment, and you can see it in the roots too. They’ve developed really well over the past few days, nice and white, just the way we want them. As for the conditions, we’re sticking to 18 hours of light per day. Temperature stays between 22-23°C during the day and drops to 18°C at night, which is a good range. The pH has fluctuated a bit, sitting at 6 now, but nothing concerning. I’ll keep an eye on it—if it keeps rising, I’ll adjust it back down to 5.8. Humidity has been slightly lowered to 70%, and I plan to keep decreasing it next week to around 60-65%. My goal is to maintain a VPD between 0.4 and 0.8 max to keep things ideal for growth. No plant training yet—I haven’t topped it, as I want to give it another week to settle in before I start shaping it. Same goes for the nutrient solution—I’m still using the same mix from last week. The plant isn’t showing any deficiencies or issues, so I’m keeping things steady. Overall, everything’s looking great! The plant is healthy, leaves are nice and wide, and the roots are thriving. Week 7 flower : I defoliated a little just to give bud sights more light . Started flush on 6 1/2 weeks I’m just giving plain water and ph to about 6.0 . Watering everyday to about 20-30% run off and the ec of the run off is 1.0ec gonna be flushing everyday for next 1-2 weeks .

Hello Diary. Two new diaries. Hulkberry and Green Gelato, both Automatic. Many thanks to RQS for these strains, and I am very happy to be starting with the new storys. WHY HULKBERRY AUTOMATIC? LET THE DIARY START OFFICIALLY: 10/06/2020. planting. I have prepared everything I need for planting. The 11lit fabric pot I got from RQS, also Organic Boost Nutrition and Mycorrhizza from RQS, Soil is Light-Mix from BioBizz and of course the seeds of the new strain Hulkberry Automatic. After adding 50g of pellets from Organic Nutrition and 5g of Mycorrhizze, I mixed everything well in the pot. After that I watered well and soaked the soil, I dug a hole with a wooden stick about 2-3 cm, I first put 1g of mycorrhize and then put the seeds inside. I lightly covered the hole with earth and put the pots in their new home. I planted two Hulkberries and one Green Gelato Automatic. The temperature was about 25 degrees and the humidity about 65%. 14/06/2020. She sprouted. After 4 days, Hulkberries came out. In the meantime, I sprayed the surface of the earth a little twice. The temperature is still around 26 degrees, thanks to the summer and the high temperature that enters the apartment anyway. I regulate the humidity with a humidifier, I maintain it around 60% -65%. 15/06/2020. Their first photo shoot, I also watered their with about 2 liters of water, which I only regulated p.H. at 6.3 with Plagron, Lemon Kick. 19/06/2020. Day 1. Hulkberries is officially one day old. On that occasion I took another photo shoot to celebrate this big day :). 24/06/2020. First Feeding First feeding. Their got a whole meal from BioBizz, Root-Juice, Bio-Heaven and Acti-Vera, p.H of water I regulated with Lemon Kick from Plagron. 25/06/2020. Day 7. End of the first week. For now, everything is great. It is developing nicely, its conditions are almost perfect. Hulkberry #1 - Day 7. - 9 cm Hulkberry #2 - Day 7. - 10 cm I think that’s all for this week, I’m happy that it’s starting all over again, following its development and looking forward to what’s to come.
