Hey growmies, the Mimosa Orange Punch ladies are looking better by the day ✌️ The late bloomer is picking up speed and growing beautiful big buds. The other two plants already have massive colas and starting to color to nice purple pink shades.

Dia 5 y las plantas ya muestran su primer par de hojas verdaderas que practicamente triplica en tamaño a los cotiledones y con un buen color verde. Pasaré a abonar conforme a la table de crecimiento y ph a 6 (algo menos realmente pero se estabilizará a 6 en las próximas horas). El ph mas y menos que uso es de boom nutrients que alguien me lo preguntó, tengo el de ghe pero como ya tengo las dosis pilladas con boom nutrients uso este, en teoría de ghe debería ser más estable pero tampoco es algo con lo que haya tenido problemas dia 10 - La planta sigue con su desarrollo, la forma de las hojas es un poco extraña pero a veces pasa en el primer o segundo par, espero que se corrija sólo y no sea una mutación extraña que vaya a mayores. He reducido un poco el riego para evitar el encharcam,iento del coco y que las raices lo tengan facil para crecer.

day 1 - shes getting her sugar on the leafs now clearly and you can start to really notice her smell after just a few minutes of the tent being open. not too strong of a smell yet but there is still much time to improve, really happy with the bud developement so far!!! day 4 - trichome producktion is just kickin off since 1-2 days, love to smell her sweetness. stretch has come to a stop a few days also. day 6 - when i opened the tent today she was showing me her flowers big. there was a big diffrence visible for my eye from last open yesterday to today and i like it! the pistils on the main bud start to get orange color and the others also seem to get a few pistols with color totay!

They’re growing healthy, just a little slower than usual. This may be due to the light being a bit far away and AVT hogging the majority of it in the center. The good thing is that she’ll be done in about a week and a half or so I hope. Otherwise they look happy, Pink kush seems to be the one growing the most, we’ll see if the other ladies catch up.

Week one is in the books. I planted them on directly into the substrate 11/28/22 (no germination) out of the 10 I planted 6 of them sprouted up. I'm excited for this grow because I have 3 new strains I have never grown. This is grow #7 for me going on 2 years growing straight with no break. First off, that mf holds it's name very well. The smell on that strain is phenomenal. Much of fruity citrus and earthy notes and that's without the curing. I smoked a bit to get a taste. Smoke and taste quite harsh but that should go away with the curing. I harvested 634g wet, including a lot of stems, and ended up with 121g dried. they lost 80% of their mass and I might have over-dried them since I expected to get more tbh. However that's more than enough to get me through next harvest. The 3 plants turned out to be pretty different phenotype. All over pretty great but one could have used denser buds. They don't have the same maturity which means I got buds for all occasions. Kept the trimmings in the freezer for an hour and also harvested 0.67g of kief with a 220 micron bag. A lot of impurities but that was to be expected. I don't think the calcium problem has had a significant impact. Overall very happy with the product and the experience.

Increased feeding to 3ml FP on day 35 & light to 40% (abound 18-20000 lux) today on day 36, greening up nicely.

Aug 10: now done two weeks of force flowering in the garage. This was supposed to be an auto, but like a lot of other growers here, I found this didn’t autoflower. That’s okay and I forced flowering by putting her in the dark garage along with the other photoperiod plants. Hopefully these are just mis-packaged Overdose Fast seeds. Aug 13: overdose is making good progress with flower development finally kicking in after a couple weeks of forcing. Aug 14: added 3 tablespoons of a 50:50 mix of Power Bloom and malted barley as a top dressing and watered in.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Week just starting off and the one baby has still not broken thru so I take matters into my own hands and attempt emergency surgery!!! I sanitized a Raw loader stick and gently pulled the sprout up. It laid over after and I'm going to give it a few hours before I try to put something to hold it up if it doesn't manage to orient properly. Any advice would be appreciated, This week just started so will edit it throughout the week.. 11/18 Transplanted into 1ga pots and gave first n00tz FF 3tsp/GA Big Bloom. 11/19 Ok so my humidy has been plumiting to 33-36% so I tried putting a rag over a fan, putting a rag in a bowl over the inlet and nothing helped so I went to amazon and bought this! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08GQZDS9J It has a gallon or so tank and a humidity sensor so it cycles to maintain humidity. 11/20 Anyways humidifier shows up today and I kicked it up to 80% and its about 70% after 4 hours.. I'll drop it down once the babies get to growing a bit more. I'm actually worried I transplanted too soon. Shout out to my boy Jeff! And a smaller shout out to James! 11/22 So no real changes the last few days, the plants still aren't thirsty so holding off on that. I did rearrange grow tent to allow me to set up a camera to capture time lapse of the process and I had to get some power to it so it doesn't cut off when the lights go out hehe. I mean all is well I guess, I'm still concerned bout my little plants and the one with the crooked stem. Although I'm thinking the more I keep hands off right now the better chance they'll have! Wish me (and my babies) luck! 11/24 So everything looks smooth, today I uploaded a time lapse of the last couple days which if you speed thru it can see movement of the plants which is cool, but I'm stressing that my 3 way meter isn't correct. Its reading like 6-7 on moisture scale after about 7 days of being on the same water/feeding. I am anxious to water again but don't want to overwater...I mean I do feel some moistness if I press down on the soil. I'm quickly learning this is a great means to work on your patience!!! Oh and I'm rapidly losing hope for the bent girl, so sad.

Week 6 went pretty well, +30 during the day, +23 at night, a few yellowed leaves, next time I water her I will give her Espom salt so that she absorbs more magnesium, despite the high heat everything else looks good :) good luck to everyone.
