Well the end is in sight, she is dressed in yellow and little buds are swollen more and more, no more flowers out, so I am harvesting in a week or so if all goes well! She smells gassy and narcotic on surface, very strong! No more food just water

New week, new growth.. Will hopefully start the LST and Topping in a few days. They are really starting to grow. Fan leaves looking healthy and big. Girls coming with vigorous growth now, everything dialled in and happy. Just adjusting the EC/pH as needed when the girls show me the relevant signs/deficiencies if any. D31/D35- Decided they were in a good enough place to start topping the girls, all 6 topped and just some defoliation of the bigger fan leaves that are shading the growth shoots some HST was also done. We were also due a water change, so I cleaned the whole system just to keep things extra cleanly, very important in a RDWC system. I also switched over to a sterile system instead of using beneficial bacteria so I will experiment and see how this goes. Time to let the girls ecover before the next training session. Cruise control for now.

📆 Week 12, 7-12 July 2024 Harvest 8 July - Turned light power down to 25%. Changed nutrient solution to RO water to begin flush. 11 July - Harvest 12 July - Begin curing time. 📑 Harvest time! She is ripe, danky, sticky, full of resin, solid, and I am pleasently suprised at the yield. This is not your ordinary Auto Afghan variety. She produces heavy buds and a lot of them. This is also the first auto I have grown using DWC in 12 weeks without manipulation - 18 hours straight from start to finish. I pushed her to the limit. Now she will hang in the closet at 50-55% RH and 70 degrees F, for about 7-10 days curing. Then she will trimmed and put into one quart glass mason jars, with 62% Boveda TurpShield and burped until 62% RH is maintained. The full potency potential and terp profile will be reached in about 30-45 days. 📆 19 July 2024 The Smoq Report: After 7 days of hanging, she was ready to cut. I trim and shape each individual bud, removing unwanted leaf and stem. It’s a process but worth it if you smoke bud. Her potency is evident. It will take the experienced smoker to a satisfying high and keep you there for a good hour or more before you want another hit. The smell and taste is of a typical Afghan. I was expecting a heavier yield, but in the end I guess we all hope for a little more! We are in week five. I was a little embarrassed because my girls reacted to the stress by shrinking. Now the situation is perhaps consolidated and we are gaining weight. They will be such tiny beauties, I really hope. pH still unstable (5-6), EC of rainwater supplemented with a mix of organic fertilizers to a value of min. 1.2-1.6 The girls look healthy so I cuted some leafs but only so much, as the all tops have good position for light source.

On wednesday 21/07 the deficiency got pretty bad and did a quick water change. In the timelapse it’s very visible that the plant collapsed. The plant is now recovering but will be fine evantually. I’ll let it grow for this week and then do another round of Topping

How they looking Growers!?! Saw white tips developing on my babies and I just flush them last week to fix the problem. They bounce back and Looking Beautiful 😭. 31.12.24: I have been readjusting the LST pegs and wire daily. Sometimes, twice a day! (I know, too much time on my hands)! 😆 The plants have responded fantastically! I'm so glad I gave it a go. Some plants have been a bit too tall, and I snapped Do-sì-dos P3, pulling the stem down. Audibly snapped 😬I let it be, though. It seems to have healed mostly, in only 2 days. I have increased the lighting to 70%. They're getting watered a few times a week, with 1 litre of Dechlorinated water, containing the following nutrients and additives; 1ml of Biobizz Bio-Grow, 1ml Biobizz Top Max, 1ml of Biobizz Bloom, 2ml of cal-mag, 1g of Ecothrive Biosys. The plants are responding well to this concoction, so it's all good so far. The leaves are looking greener and are getting darker. Will be monitoring to continue readjusting the LST ties. Also, to monitor the increased lighting level, to make sure they can handle that yet. 1.1.25: Happy New Year! I have continued to readjust the LST wire and plant pegs. Several times a day. Coincidence would have it, I have a 6ft tropical aquarium which was time for cleaning! I always water my Acer tree in the front yard with this water, with beautiful results 😍 👌 🍁 I decided to try it out in my indoor garden. I'll post photos of before and after to see the difference, good or bad 😅 3.1.25: Plants are doing very well, except for PPP3 I'm quite disappointed in that one, as I feel like it's wasting a space. I guess I'll have to keep it, along with the Do-sì-dos that I snapped twice, which refuses to die 😅 I started to lightly defoliate, which is difficult because I always get carried away with it. I'm going to water again with the nutrients in description of this week. 4.1.25: Continuing to defoliate and adjust the LST pegs and wire. Watered today with 1ltr of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.0. With the following nutrients;- 2ml Biobizz Bloom, 4ml Biobizz Bio-Grow, 2ml Cal-Mag, 2ml Ecothrive Flourish, 0.2 g/ltr of Ecothrive Biosys. I've increased the Nitrogen by adding double the amount of Biobizz Bio-Grow. I'm trying to keep them growing for as long as possible! Se le ha añadido 20l de agua abonada. Beben mucho y ha bajado el PH hasta 5.5 y se ha vuelto a corregir a 5.8 con el agua añadida. Se realiza poda de ramas bajas siendo bastante difícil hacerlo en la fila trasera. Me ha llegado el biobloom por fin, se lo he agregado el viernes 18/08 por lo que en este momento solo lleva 2 días con este abono. A partir de esta semana se puede decir que esta el cultivo al 100%. La humedad de mi zona esta disparada y no bajo estos días del 68% HR

As of the afternoon of May 15th, I have begun some LST with binder clips/safety pins and some soft pipe cleaners. With the exception of the Critical Jack, I think most of the plants are showing some signs of excess Calcium and Nitrogen so I am going to take CALiMAGic out of their feeding regimen and cut the nutrients down to 1/4 strength as of this afternoon. The Dinafem Critical Jack Auto is now the tallest plant and seems to be the healthiest one of the bunch at this point, she keeps amazing me every day. The Seedsman White Widow Auto is not very tolerant to feedings and its stems & branches seem to be weaker than the others; very bushy. Both the Dinafem Industrial Plant Autoflowering CBD and the Mephisto Ripley's OG are very healthy but are growing very squat and bushy -- which made trying some LST for the first time a bit more challenging! As of the evening of May 17th, I noticed pre-flowers on both the Critical Jack and the Ripley's OG. The Critical Jack is certainly stretching out right now! The White Widow and the Industrial Plant CBD look like they should be getting pre-flowers by the end of the week. The Critical Jack has taken to being under the ViparSpectra 600 light more than the MarsHydro Mars II 1200 light -- something to keep an eye on?

8/24 update: Welcome back to my garden! Thanks for following me on this 17+1 strain photoperiod SOG grow adventure! Yes, I said plus one. If you're following me, you may have already seen that I decided to sow one more strain. The first Jenny Kush seed didn't germinate and even if it did, we have 3 possible males in the garden, the rest are feminized. Since I bought sixteen 12 inch square pots to fill a 48" x 48" footprint, and we have some regular seeds in the mix, I figured it'd be a good idea to add one more strain. I went with another breeder I have never grown before, Expert Seeds. The strain is Gorilla x Cookies. My "helper" forgot to wet the seeds after I had sowed them and the top soil was a bit dry. I was not in the garden a little less than 48 hours and I gave them water when sowing, but I hope they didn't dry out too much. If the Gorilla Cookies doesn't germinate, I will rule that one as user error and not on the breeder. The rest of the garden is growing strong with the exception of the Sour Lemonaid. She sprouted looking a bit burnt and has some deformed leaves. In my experience, they usually grow out of it, but only time will tell. Big Seedbank had delivered some great genetics.. She is going the best out of all the plants... really long branches but a lot of pulp flowers already... She still has easy a month to go and already she looks amazing... Feeding as planned.. fingers crossed 🙏

Runtz is a very hardy plant, has a great structure that folds well. The buds are medium sized and insanely hard, full of resin. Even the bottom buds are hard and nice when you let the light through. I definitely recommend this strain

My first grow has turned in to a science project. Switched from AN pH perfect Grow/Micro/Bloom to AN pH Connesseur, still giving 50% dose. Had rain Monday maybe, didn't water for 3 days, hit her up last night with the Connesseur and just a tad of Big Bud, looks really good this morning. Yesterday I had mini buds with white pistils, that's why the Big Bud. Everything else is normal- watering 32 oz of water/nutrients at night, MAYBE mist the top soil but haven't really needed it. Will most likely switch to AN Connesseur bloom next week. Very satisfied! (copypasta from my SG journal, same same).

Gelato 33 — Harvest Report This week marks the end of a very successful run with Gelato 33. After monitoring the trichomes closely, the plant was taken down at the perfect moment: cloudy trichomes with a touch of amber, signalling peak cannabinoid and terpene expression. ⸻ 🔬 Trichome & Maturity Check • ~80–85% cloudy • ~10–15% amber • Very few clear trichomes Ideal for a strong, balanced hybrid effect without losing freshness. ⸻ 🌿 Bud Characteristics Gelato 33 showed all the classic traits: • Dense medium-size buds • Thick resin coating • Long, orange pistils • Beautiful purple/green tones depending on the cola • Extremely sticky during trimming Aroma exploded during harvest: Sweet, creamy dessert notes + earthy gas. ⸻ ✂️ Harvest Processing • Light wet-trim (fan leaves only) • Whole plant hung upside down for a slow dry • Branch spacing maintained for airflow This ensures maximum terpene preservation. ⸻ 🌬️ Drying Conditions • Temperature: 18–19°C • Humidity: 52–55% • Airflow: indirect, very gentle • Total planned drying time: 10–14 days ⸻ ⚖️ Yield Wet weight from trimming photo: ➡️ 586 g (wet) Final dry weight will be updated after curing. ⸻ General Impression of the Strain Gelato 33 proved to be: • Stable • Highly resinous • Resistant to stress & mold • Strong smell but controllable Definitely a keeper-worthy phenotype.

Just letting them cruise along. Increased the ec to 2.1 highest I think ill take it , but so far so good. Really wish I would have had controlled the stretch alil more so the buds would have filled out better. But the smell these gals are putting off Is so good. Can't wait to burn this stuff. !!
