D13 - BOOM! The new #1 had made her modest appearance. Only the top of the seed is visible so far, but it's a start. :) #2 is moving along nicely, quietly doing her thing. D14 - #1 is still shy and hasn't fully emerged yet, but she is at least poking up more than yesterday, so there's progress at least. #2 is doing great, and I like her structure. Short and stout with large leaves and very short internodal spacing. She is 7 cm tall but already 11 cm wide. I also cut back the cover crop as it was getting a bit wild and partly overshadowed the girls. Since starting the grow, I have yet to water the girls properly, but they did get a little bit a couple of days ago when I had some extra after watering nematodes (against fungus gnats) to our regular houseplants. Better to be proactive than reactive ;) D15 - I started a simple compost tea consisting of worm casting, rock dust, algal limestone, bentonite, biochar, and molasses. I'll leave it brewing overnight, and then it's watering/feeding time tomorrow. D17 - No idea what is going on with the first girl, but it sure isn't much. The seed has maybe emerged for another two millimeters from the soil, but that is it. The seed hasn't cracked, and no leaves are visible. Hell, I can hardly see the stem. Yesterday, I gave each girl about one liter of the compost tea that I started a couple of days ago. Let's see if that helps, although, at this point, I kind of doubt it. As always, I completely forgot to check the pH of the tea. I have no idea why I keep forgetting that with my teas when I have no problem checking the pH when I use plain water. Oh well. Not the end of the world but something I need to keep in mind for the next tea in a couple of weeks. The second girl looks great, though, so that's something at least. D20 - Alright, it is official. The third girl died as well. The seed never cracked, and the stem went limp. I have no idea why this happened, and now I'm out of Colorado Cookies seeds, so that's that. I have already planted another seed to see if the problem persists with another strain. I will make a separate diary for that one, though. On the positive side is that the remaining girl looks strong and healthy. She is now 9 cm tall and 18 cm wide on this last day in week two of veg. Upwards and onwards!

15.10.23 - Just 2 feeding this week. I was out of the town and thats why some leafs looks poor. And after feeding that changed. 22.10.23 - But with big defoliation and a lot of new photos and even video! Check it out!

Siempre digo que será la última defoliación y termino defoliando más, ahora a qué crezcan un poco más antes del cambio 12/12 Veg46, las plantas están ya recuperadas y creciendo a buen ritmo. Veg48, riego con solo Sensizym y Sensi CalMag, con pH 6.3 y EC 0.8, drenaje de EC 1.9 y pH 6.1(ok). Debido al crecimiento de debe ajustar amarras y quitar una que otra hoja.

Feliz por como van mis gorilas, todos los días hay cambios y cada semana tengo que aumentar el riego, esta semana utilice en total 18 litros, 4.5 litros para cada planta aproximadamente. En los primeros 6 litros uso: ▪️︎4ml de Connoisseur A y B por litro de agua. ▪️︎2ml de Rhino por litro de agua. ▪️︎2ml de Bud Candy por litro de agua. ▪️︎2ml de Carboload por litro de agua. ▪️︎2ml de B-52 por litro de agua. Espero 30 minutos y despues aplico otros 6 litros con los siguientes nutrientes: ▪️︎4ml de Connoisseur A y B por litro de agua. ▪️︎2ml de Nirvana por litro de agua. ▪️︎2ml de Big Bud por litro de agua. ▪️︎2ml de Overdrive por litro de agua. ▪️︎2ml de Voodo Juice por litro de agua. No tengo medidor de EC, por lo tanto trato de que las mediciones en ml sean exactos con una jeringa. ☆ 1 día a la semana riego las plantas con 6 litros de agua sin nutrientes y con un PH en 6.0, hasta el momento no han presentado carencias pero tengo la duda si tienen exceso de nitrógeno por el color verde intenso de las hojas.

This is my first induced flowering growth. I always grow weed outdoors with big satisfaction on yield and nature contact, But I have to say that training plants is real fun and I can’t wait to see the buds first appear and then fatten up. On day 5 of flowering she started to appear a little stressed, I think is a little overfeeding because her leaves are a little burned on the tip and a little underwater too but this morning end of day 6 appear to be recovering has the timelapse show on the end. Week 2: Light Struggles, First Adjustments & the Patience Test Update: 14.03.25 Good morning, grow fam! Week 2 of my photoperiod journey is running – a mix of challenges and small wins. Here’s a look at the early days of my Blueberry and Durban Poison seedlings. Current Observations: Light Deficiency & Stretching Stems The first days post-germination were intense: The seedlings developed extremely long, thin stems (check the photos!), a clear sign of insufficient light. Since I’m intentionally avoiding extra lighting to save resources, I had to improvise: - Tray Rotation: I rotate the seedling tray multiple times a day to ensure even exposure to the weak March sunlight. - DIY Support: For the most stretched seedlings, a bent wire acts as a crutch to prevent them from collapsing. Interestingly, the tomato and cucumber plants in the same tray show no issues – their stems stay compact. Seems like veggies are better adapted to low-light conditions than cannabis! Nutrients & Alfa Boost: An Experiment Even though my Biobizz Lightmix should provide enough nutrients for the first weeks, I tested a sample of Alfa Boost (freebie from the grow shop) during watering. The product claims to boost roots and stress resistance – perfect for my light-stressed babies. So far, no negative reactions, but no explosive growth either. Slow Growth – No Cause for Concern The plants are growing just millimeters per day, but that’s okay. My focus is on building sturdy, resilient plants, not speed. Once days get longer and sunnier, growth should pick up. They’ll stay indoors until mid-May anyway – plenty of time to bulk up. Next Steps & Tweaks - Transplanting in 1–2 Weeks: Once the first true leaf pairs emerge, they’ll move to small pots with my Biobizz All-Mix blend. - First Topping Soon: Once the plants hit 4–5 nodes, I’ll top them to encourage bushier growth. Week 2 Takeaway: Patience is key! Even in suboptimal conditions, I trust Dutch Passion’s resilient genetics. Fingers crossed for greener progress next week.
