Sugar cane was very easy to grow with no issues whatsoever. I'm new to growing so they were easy by my standards. It was everything I had hoped it would be, as far as growing and appearance. I hope it will smoke as good as it looks! The aroma is a very mild, sweet smell, but man the frost on these! the Super sticky icky! 🤪 I would have preferred letting these go another week, but had to chop now because of upcoming circumstances. Didn't see the option to put the dried weight in but out of 3 Sugar cane, I got 9.1oz. Taking a hit of just dried Sugar Cane nug, I was surprised how smooth it was even before cure. Pine/gassy taste. A couple of hits and it was a very uplifting creative high. Then a creeper wave came on shortly after..... almost like that feeling when an edible kicks in and you forgot you ate one! Lol. I couldn't believe I was that high from a couple of hits! Two hit wonder stuff right here! This should last me quite a while!

Okay so I came up with this incredible method of training that I call "root lining".I figured this out years ago in outdoor season when a deer bulldozed through my med crop and knocked a sweet lady over, that started it all. The plant was completely parallel to the ground with roots growing out of the nodes where contact was made with the ground at the stock. Long story short she ended up being a 14 footer with 6 foot whale dicks! That gave me this little idea that's been non stop producing top quality fat resinous buds. This method increases nutrient uptake and makes a huge difference in quality and size. I essentially main line, really low to the ground, until the stock makes full contact with the ground. I then gently rub the downside of the stock with the back of a butter knife to speed things up and break down the chlorophyll layer. Then I add remo roots gel (see all videos). I then add a sprinkle of coco on top just to barely cover the stock (dont add to thick of a layer as this might "choke" and rot the stock) and mist that spot 2-3 times a day. 3 days later and boom! She'll be pumping out roots and go into full beast mode. Give it a try and you'll never go back!

The weather has been terrible, with lots of rain and extremely high humidity. That's why I decided to harvest. I will be able to provide more information about the flavor in a few weeks but the smell was sweet and fruity.

I also made a new 10L feed, and added it to the reservoir, there was still 2850 ml in the reservoir, so i can calculate how much they get per watering. Opened the reservoir for a couple of minutes. 21-4 Temperature: 24.4 degrees (lights on) 19.3 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 66% (highest) 54% (lowest) No pictures. 22-4 Temperature: 23.7 degrees (lights on) 19.7 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 67% (highest) 42% (lowest) Opened the reservoir for a couple of minutes. 23-4 Temperature: 23.6 degrees (lights on) 17.7 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 64% (highest) 50% (lowest)

Let’s go Day 36 !!! This week went real great, girls built up a lot of structure, and stayed super healthy ! Today they got fed just water phd at 6.5 ! They been really loving that balance! I also removed a lot of under trim since we are going into preflower , so had to shave up those legs lol ! It’s really great for them , the love that airflow , but don’t take off too much or you could shock your plants so be careful ! Can’t wait to see what these girls do this week ! Stretch seems to be over. Buds almost doubled their size. Looks fine - not very smelly yet

I'm already assuming we'll have a longer flowering period. The Gorilla Cookies has grown so huge that it will definitely need more time. So we'll certainly repeat the 4th week of fertilization. Before that, it will get week 3 of the master recipe from Advanced Nutrients.

Really sorry for anyone that was actually following and wanted to see updates but I had to take some time away and neglected this project. My friend/neighbour/weed mentor passed away and I just haven’t felt the same. Moving along, after cleaning up most of the big fan leaves I decided to just switch into flower… I have 3 seedlings of Tropicana poison F1 saved out of 40. This was the next project of my friend that has passed. My goal is to finish this grow and honor my late friend with a grow diary of his plants. I’m sure he’ll be smiling above. 36 hours of darkness before proceeding to switch lighting to 12/12 Added 3 feedings a day now, but reduced the amount fed. Food has been given extra liquid mycorrhiza and bacteria. Will be using PLAGRON: Green sensation 4-in-1 in addition to megacrop at week 4 of flowering and see if there’s any benefits

First week outdoors and the girls are just loving the fresh air and sunshine! Have been bringing them into solarium at night because we are still hitting 1°-2° some nights, and the solarium only gets down to 14°. Warm nights (>12°) should be here to stay in the next few days, will have them grounded then. Soil pickup and pot preparation today. I get my soil from a local landscape material yard. They do a great "garden mix", has good drainage and very healthy soil. Plants always seem to love it, and at $45 a yard it's so much cheaper than bagged soil. Also today is the day I pick my two of the litter before the other two go to their homes at my in-laws place. Probably take the black pots, all four girls look so good might as well take a tall and a short see which does best! Plants were topped Day 29 from seed and recovered well, quite noticable thickening of the main stem, and by end of week about 1" new growth on tops.

Day 120- Day 72- 11/11 - Still just giving that liter of plain, non pH'd RO water every morning. - Again, not checking ppms in or out anymore, she's ready Day 121- Day 73- 11/12 - Gave 1 liter of water Day 122- Day 74- 11/13 - Gave her last liter of water this morning - Tis her last day! Will cut this evening.

Thatns not the speedest start of grow i've ever Seen, plant growing well but they are very slow, in first Time i've would tobdo a mainlining but maybe it's notnthe best Idea for them

Slipped up with ph fluctuation - nutes was 2 high - adjusted daily last 4days. Very happy with the girls recovery!! WILL ONLY KEEP 4 OF THE BEST Im documenting all of this. 1xnew critical orange punch cracked will place in sponge tonight.. Things to look forward to this week: More defoliating! Just trying to strike that balance of airiness and photosynthesis. Plus, I gotta get rid of a bunch of useless back-budding throughout the girls. Focus on that canopy! New dehumidifer on the way. It should be running by Wednesday. Hoping to get down the 45% RH for some arbitrary reason! And it will help me cure better too. I keep telling myself the money is worth it. Started treating my water with some calcium hypochlorite, a.k.a. pool shock, at a rate of 2 PPM which I've worked out to 0.15 g for 50 L (my standard tank build). That doesn't sound like much, but it is detectable on the nose. I'm not concerned about 2 PPM ending up absorbed in the plant, it takes in a certain amount of chlorine anyway and this is well below cannabis' phytotoxicity, apparently. The takeaway: it's safe, just like using city tap (many places) to water plants. 8/5/2019 - The girls look great. Went through and removed a lot of growth with a better sense of what to cull. Snipped a load of bud growth branches that would never make it to the top. They were mostly skrawny sucker branches and a few that would have made nice colas if they managed to reach the light. Gonna be picking out root rot and treating with H2O2 for the dead roots from site 5. Starting to see some brown, just need it not to spread to the living plants. Treating with a 2 PPM chlorine dosage to the reservoir. Had to purge the accumulators anyhow, so everything is being treated with antimicrobial now. I won't get to see them until after work tomorrow, any changes in health will be evident. 8/9/2019 - Dehumidifier #2 arrived today. It shows delivery at 12:20 and the driver placed it right-side-up, so I am good to start it right away. Immediately, I am a little surprised at how warm the air is coming out of this thing. I'll keep an eye on temps.... 8/10/2019 - Wow, the reservoir from the dehumidifier filled up in the middle of the 12 hour cycle and shut off automatically. Really pulled a lot of water out of the air! The temps got too high though. Not too long after lights on today, they temp read 90 degrees F, and I can't have that. Moved dehumidifier outside of tent and now draining into 5 gallon bucket. The tent is moving enough air that the humidity inside and out is the same. Seeing if it can lower the humidity enough outside the tent to benefit.
