Smoke is amazing. Barely needs a cure to even taste good. I’m sure a nice cure would bring the sweet caramel flavor out as there is a hint of it in the smoke. But I’m low on weed so this would have to do.

Flower Week 5 Day 35 to 41 - 4/22 to 4/28 They both look extremely healthy this week. The calyx are swelling with maturing hairs, the pistols are orange, the trichomes are mostly white, and the leaves are fading/changing colors - still not ripe enough for me, but flushing with half nute feeds now. Feed this week was an auto pot reservoir flush feed at 400ppm total before add-ins. I used 400ppm of Bloom concentrate mix (recipe week 5). However, I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) and ph balance this week was for 5.8 where Io plan to maintain it until harvest. Next week will continue the same half nute feed. I will continue to monitor the signs of trichomes, pistols, and calyx for a better harvest and allow the buds to mature more.

First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. Compost tea turned out well, let it go for 26 hours total and geared it towards fungal. Also took some soil samples several days later around the stalks and found a lot of nematodes and protozoa which is what you want to see. Lots of different types of nematodes so what your looking for are the bacterial feeders (there are charts online that show you how to identify them). Mycorrhizae can be identified by it's dark colour, uniformity and segmented nature. Testate amoebas live in a translucent shell like a snail and are easy to spot but hard to spot moving due to my shitty microscope, but look for the tentacles. Also found some eggs with movement inside, no idea what they are but they have vacuoles and flagella. She is really getting sticky and smelly now; berries with herb notes. You can see the resin stretching over the trichomes in the last pic. No signs of senescence yet so I'm not going to feed them, they should have plenty of food anyway as this is a second run of the same soil.

5/4 Her first set of true leaves are coming in. So I guess I will call her in the vegetation stage. Skywalker was such a sweet child growing up. Haha. She had a bit of a rough start. Her shell was stuck on and she had some cold nights. She was supposed to be an outdoor plant and still may end up out there. Popped her a bit to early for the northeast. She really seems to love the spider farmer se3000. I do prefer growing under the sun. Other than that she has good color and is starting to pack on some height. 5/5 she is moving along. Turned the light up to 70 dim. She how she likes that. She is sharing the light with a younger cheese auto that is not ready for more power 5/6 life has been hard on this little girl. Turned the light up to 70 dim and she got burned. She is still growing at a good pace. Her single leaves got torched a bit, I think she will be fine. 5/7 she is happy I turned the light down. Growing well. 5/10 bent her over today, lst. Maybe a little early. Her 3rd node is out and she has branches showing. She had some sun the first few days after breaking ground. She will probably spend most of her time outside. The weather is supposed to be in the 70s for a while. Giving her a few hours of sun today then back under the light. This strain is supposed to be pungent. We shall see. This is my first mesphito grow.

In the past week the buds have bulked up a lot. Almost doubled in size. Everything is moving along smoothly and I’m excited to see what happens. I’m hoping they keep bulking up they way they have been. Should be about time to flush.
