June 1st A lot of indecision regarding when to take her down to begin drying, so I haven't updated for a little longer than usual. I thought I'd be updating this grow with drying/harvest photos by now, but the trichomes just aren't there yet. The plant is beginning to look a little worse for wear, especially thanks to the main cola drying out and dying after being found to be full of mold. That's another reason I've felt ready to take her down, but after some thought I realise that just means I'm ready, not that the plant itself is. We're still turning final, but I'm dialing things in for the final spurt of trichome development. Light schedule is now 11 on 13 off. Watering is still frequent, which apparently indicates a plant in full production. I'm going to take care to let the pot dry out completely while avoiding a big droop, and I've also decided to remove nutes and water without anything other than pH amendment. According to a little research larger plants operate slightly differently when it comes to the maturation process, meaning a longer term to fully mature. While the RQS data sheet suggests something like 65 days for flower, in reality it might look something like 90. Patience is the thing here, so it's all down to the trichomes at this point, which are still mostly clear, with a small percentage of cloudy/amber. As soon as we're in an obviously milky majority, she's coming down. Fingers crossed as always!

For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. AC Infinity does not extend the warranty to the replacement parts. I guess that makes sense since they would be in a state of perpetual free replacements. I bought a new one from Amazon that came with a new controller which is different from the controller 69 currently using. I decided that while it is very inconvenient and inefficient to monitor the tent through the day, I would rather finish this Frostbanger run without introducing a new unknown variable. I will continue using 3 circulating fans, the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. They are living up to the new strain’s name. #5 is the frostiest followed by #2. Wow week 3 of flower and that much frost already. Before FastBuds announced the strain name and characteristics, I was disappointed that FBA2502 could be an indica sleepy strain but the universe provides what you need at the time. The new strain profile indicates a whopping 29%THC with mainly sativa uplifting, euphoric, social effects with sweet fruity flavors which I love and enjoy. In addition, I recently bought a dap press and this strain is frosty and resinous. She will be great to press for live rosin. FBA2502 is FROSTBANGER. ​Die finale Phase der Vegetation war ereignisreich. Pünktlich zu Beginn der Woche stand für die Jelly Donutz der finale Medienwechsel an. Die Dame wurde erfolgreich aus ihrem alten Schuh in den großen 15-Liter-Stofftopf umgetopft, um dem Wurzelsystem maximalen Freiraum für den kommenden Stretch zu bieten. Die Oberfläche wurde zudem sauber abgedeckt. ​Beim Blick auf die Wachstumsstruktur im Nachhinein fiel auf: Das eigentlich geplante zweite Topping wurde schlichtweg vergessen. Dieser ausbleibende Schnitt wird das finale Wuchsmuster natürlich ein wenig beeinflussen – die Haupttriebe durften dadurch ungestört weiterziehen, anstatt sich nochmals aufzuspalten. Das tut der brutalen Optik des Humboldt-Strains jedoch absolut keinen Abbruch. Die Pflanze strotzt vor Vitalität, steht extrem stämmig im Substrat und hat den neuen Topf zügig angenommen. Zum Ende der Woche hin waren alle Parameter im grünen Bereich, sodass die Beleuchtung nun offiziell auf den Blüte-Rhythmus von 12 Stunden umgestellt wurde. Wir verabschieden uns aus einer starken Vegi und sind bereit für die ersten Blütenansätze!

Just in 1.5 day roots went really big 😁 I wasn’t watering plant since 17.02.25 So it still drink drenaje. Don’t know is that really good. Haven’t check what it shows. Next time will do it. But I think I can damage plant if won’t give oxygen in water. Help please

Hello This is the end of week 2 and the beginning of week 3 of flowering. This plant is growing well and looking good. I can see the flowers starting already. The next trim up is this week. I'll try to get in here this week and take care of any extra fanleaves (ones that don't get light on the bottom), (and ones that block the light from penetrating into the center) And sucker branches. I didn't weigh them wet...never do...but the dry weight was 430g for both plants! Plant A: 229g Plant B: 201g Very heavy, very resinous, very tasty...awesome ganja! I pressed a few ounces of it for the rosin, and it yields very very well. Final thoughts: My favorite strain from this grow. Not quite as tasty as the Zenzations, but the yield was spectacular and it's muy potente! Esta es una genética de un olor muy fuerte y pesado se siente intenso desde la vegetación , es una variedad muy resinosa con unos colores morados hermosos , probando las flores cuando terminó el secado y ahora curando las flores se siente un sabor terroso , al principio no me gusto ya que nunca había probado este , pero después al seguir fumando se siente un sabor final muy agradable.
