31 Aug. I start the third week of my autoflower. The plant is growing well, but I noticed small yellow spots on the leaf tips, which seem like a mild calcium deficiency. This is probably due to the fact that so far I have been giving water with a slightly low pH, around 6, while the ideal range would be 6.5–7. At the beginning, to lower the ppm of the tap water (which was around 211 ppm), I mixed it with demineralized water. This brought the ppm down to about 109–140, making it harder for the plant to absorb the available calcium. Additionally, the soil I am using, Biobizz Light Mix, is lightly fertilized but does not contain enough calcium to correct this small initial deficiency. For this week, I will not add any fertilizers. I simply want to raise the pH to 6.5 and use water with higher ppm, so the plant can better absorb the nutrients already present in the soil. The lamp is positioned about 35–36 cm from the plant and so far there are no burn issues. Temperatures range between 25 and 30 °C depending on the day, while humidity in the room stays between 40–60%. The humidifier is always on because I keep the window open, but the dehumidifier is not being used, as it is not necessary at the moment. I also have a new oscillating fan arriving to replace the current fixed one, and I’m waiting for a regulable extractor (90–145 m³/h), which will allow me to control the air perfectly during winter if needed. This week my main goals are: Increase the water ppm without overdoing it Adjust the pH to 6.5 Keep observing the plant without adding any fertilizers Everything else seems fine and growth is regular. With these corrections, I expect the new leaves to grow healthy and free of spots. ==UPDATE 31/08== To control the calcium deficiency, I will administer an eggshell solution until I reach 300 ppm (I will boil some eggshells and administer the solution in tap water).

Start of week 11, ladies are doing good and continuing to fatten up. Looks like #2 is pretty close to being done. Going to let her run through Wednesday, then check on her trichomes. If we got more amber I’ll begin the 3 day flush and chop her down on Saturday. If I feel she can go longer I won’t start the flush until Saturday/Sunday. Plants #1 and #3 still got another two weeks or so before they’re ready to chop. Day 72, I moved plants #1 and #2 to the front of the tent for easier access. They’ll be the first two done out of the 3 included in this journal. Also cleaned up some of the leaves on them to open up everything to light during these last 1-2 weeks. Still unsure if I’ll begin to flush #2 on Wednesday or wait till the weekend.. Day 74, checked trichomes and we still aren’t quite where we wanna be before I start to flush. I’m in DWC my flush is only about 3 days tops. We will check again start of next week and hopefully she ready. Day 76, checked on #2 she still not quite ready. I will probably let her run through Thursday next week, begin flush then chop on Sunday the 6th.

----------- Week 5: ---------- Beginning of the 2nd week of flowering. I have noticed that the 3 biotabs that went into the ground last week, released just a little too much fertilizer in these early days of flowering. You can see that there is slight discoloration in her leaves. We go from the darker green to the lighter lime green, which indicates that she is getting just a little too much P. I fear this will probably continue for the next few weeks. Fortunately, she has a good start and basis and this will not have too many negative effects. Pushing her a little bit doesn't hurt either. Although I think I might consider using only 2 biotabs in 25l soil in the next round. First, let's wait and see how this evolves. Furthermore, of course nothing to complain. Nice further development of her budsites and she also has 2 main branches fighting for dominance. . Unwards to the second week of bloom. Until next week!

Noticed the Purple was growing oddly compared to the Pineapple. Was having some heat issues which could have been the cause. By the end of the week feeding was once a day, about 2-4 drops in 100ml of water Ph between 6.0 - 6.1 all Remo veg nutrients. Found it hard to get the nutrients right with the fast growth of autos. Will get better each time and every run we learn something.

Por ahora, todo marcha excelente y las plantas están respondiendo de maravilla. 🌿 Dato útil: Unos días antes del trasplante (semana 3), a las macetas de 11 litros les apliqué al menos 1 litro de agua con una dosis mínima de Root Juice. Der Stretch ist nun offiziell vorbei – die Mädels haben ihre endgültige Größe erreicht. Alle Pflanzen stehen gesund und stabil da. Die Blätter zeigen ein sattes Grün, keine Anzeichen von Mangel oder Stress. Die Blütenbildung schreitet gut voran – erste Ansätze von Frost sind bereits sichtbar. Heute war außerdem das letzte Mal Entlauben und Lollipoppen angesagt. Jetzt können die Pflanzen ihre Energie voll und ganz auf die Buds konzentrieren. Es gibt keine neuen Komplikationen, alles verläuft weiterhin planmäßig. Ich bleibe bei meinem aktuellen Schema und beobachte weiterhin genau – ab jetzt liegt der Fokus voll auf der Blütenentwicklung.

Well 🍪🍪🍪 that's my first one and hopefully I will manage to grow a big healthy girl without too much hassle. I planted the seed on the last day of 2019 and germinated on 4th of January with some emotions. After two days in the germination room I transferred it in the smart pot from RQS which they say it's for 11 l but I managed to fill it with 20 l of organic soil mixed with GROW CAPS. Follow my journey and help me with your advices. What do you think? It's a good start or not so?

Hey yall, Temps were high, but under control now. My girls were droopy despite having moist soil. After a good compost tea they bounced right back. Pistol hairs are showing, haven't grown this specific cultivar before so the bud structure is a but different than others I am familiar with. Let's see what she does moving forward. I am not a super fan of these genetics. Already have new seeds I am ready to start once these ladies are done. Over all the Strawberry Diesel from Beaver Seeds is not a noob grow, you need to have your grow dialed in. And really be careful with PM. I am keeping humidity as low as I cam while still maintaining a decent VPD. Challenges with this strain definitely turns me off. Looking forward to a new cultivar, already have some genetics from Michigan, those cats are really something else, they are hellbent on being better than the West coast. And they are in my humble opinion 😌 ☺️ Pure Michigan looks good, also Honey Sticks Genetics out of Maine is killing it, their Bananaconda 4 tested over 40% total cannabinoids. They want like 3k per cut, so that won't be my next, but looking forward to new genetics nonetheless. Anyways made some new ferments, remember to use equal parts organic sugar, Jaggery is best, that is the closest form of sugar to the sugar cane plant. Cover with paper towel, 2 to 3 days later let gravity give you all that juice, don't squeeze it to get more. Keep that juice in the fridge, that is your food. Then add water to the solids and keep at room temperature for 3 months to make a vinegar. That is your cleanser. Muy satisfecho con la de ramas que esta dando, todas tienen cálizes y un olorsito que alimenta. Unas puntas amarillas en las hojas recién salidas, pero no suigio avanzando despues de echarle top blom, supongo que seria alguna carencia que justo el top blom me lo a dado. perfecto todo, cada 2 dias 200ml de agua con solución a cada planta. Todo en un armario de 60 x 60 x 140, espero no tener problemas de espacio.

Starting to get heavy in here. Starting to fatten up like crazy putting on some more colors. They all have their own sweet smell with something in background but way sweet. Just doing build a bloom and molasses 1 time this week mollases is almost every watering. Just popping off leafs when dead and make sure Noone falls over lol.

Wow! Things are much better. Looks like drying out the soil and then giving a heavy watering with a light nutrient mix did the trick! I now have the light at about 13" and it seems to be about right. Someone told me the the gap between each level of fan leaves is large because my light was too far and the plant was stretching itself to reach. Going away for another trip, so repeating the dry soil/heavy watering process, this time with the recommended fertilizer mix (10ml/gal). Gave each plant about 1/4 gallon of water/food mix.
