Two phenotypes - one purple and one white/green. The purple was very difficult to train and resulted in a couple inadvertent breaks - luckily it was repairable. The other trained very well, very flexible and worked very good for SCROG. Both produced heavily and are beautiful. The purple tends to be much more fluffy, with very long pistil hairs - the longest of any grow I have done. The white was super dense, very crystally and sticky. It will be very interesting to see how they smoke. Also, the purple tended to do very well with some nute mistakes I made as well as fluctuating pH in my water feeding. The white did not do as well in this regard but was able to get to harvest fine. Wet bud weight is prior to trimming. The buds off of these plants were HUGE!!!! Plant #1: (Purple): Wet weight - 76.58oz prior to trim; 15 colas; Terps: White - 60%, Clear - 20%, Amber - 20% Plant #2: (White): Wet weight - 71.65oz prior to trim; 16 colas; Terps: White - 70%, Clear - 30%, After 3 days of drying, took them down to trim for my jars. After a few hours filled mostly quart jars 3/4 full but also tried an Infinity jar and a gallon mason jar to minimize the number of smaller jars. Dry weights into jars: Plant #1: 14.79 oz Plant #2: 11.76oz I did pull them after a day to dry rack them for 12 hours due to a little bit higher moisture content then I would have liked ( 70%rH). Re-jarred on 6/1/23 and now holding steady at around 60% rH. Cure Check In (Week 2): 6/10 - 6/12/23: rH ~ 63 - 66%. Daily air exposure & fanning. Very smelly. Looking good - another couple weeks and will be ready.

2020-07-24 (Day 129) So this thing is just way bigger than I anticipated! I think within the next two weeks I’ll have to add another level to the SCROG. Right before I add the next layer I will do a heavy defoliation To ensure I’ll have good airflow come fall. No water, no nutes, this is the easiest grow ever! The plants become surprisingly resinous and have a very pungent odor. The Strawberry Gorilla is already turning purple.

Forgive me AGAIN I have started logging this actual journal several weeks after I have started the grow, but never the less, I still have dates on photos to help me track the growth so far. I decided this grow that I would try reusing my dirt from the last grow and was able to sterilize it by cooking it in the oven🙌 I did loose a little bit of dirt but decided I would just combine coco coir that I had around with the soil 1:1 to even things out. Week 1 wasn't particularly interesting. This time around I choose to only plant 2 Super Skunk (fem) seeds because I needed have a "do over" with this strain. Last grow (mid flower) I lost control of my plants and I am looking to redeem myself because this strain grew beautifully up until that point. I went ahead and germinated seeds the last week of October and had sprouted seeds by Oct. 31. The first week was pretty typical with the exception of one seedling who's shell was causing the plant difficulty in releasing. For several days I tried to just allow nature take it's course but, then I became incredibly impatient and attempted to remove it myself (BAD MOVE). The whole head snapped off of the fragile seedling and I had to immediately start over. Also the humidity in SOCAL has extremely low (in the teens) which made getting regulating humidity even more challenging. *P.S. I only gave my plants distilled water from a spray bottle to ensure that there was no over watering*

Carried her through most of her bloom phases. And I had to add other PK booster and a few terpine enhancers. This was her last day on nutrients. She'll be going under my SF-1000 now for ripening with lower temps. She's only been heavily on co2 this wk. (A few days. So, it won't of had much affect on it boost wise). Got a decent defol through her later stages of bloom. Most of her fans were removed and took a few sugars, well they were fans before the cakyxs swollen. WELL, there we are! Finally i put her into flower, she is drinking already 1,5L of water EVERY DAY. in VEG!!! i hope i don't have to refill the bucket every second day when in flower 💀 She recovered really nicely, and is healthy and strong for flower. I really like the genetics, nice fast growth and i can't wait to see her producing buds. My plan is to get the canopy even more even and get as much uniformity as possible so i will get a lot of nice buds with the same quality. DLI is on 25 RN and will be adjusted slowly over every week. next goal of DLI is 30 by the end of the week. I hope you guys are doing good, take care of yourself and see you on the next update (:

Heatwave is here:( Equipment is struggling. Hard to watch over grow room constantly. Surge protector tripping out as the equipment never cools down or has a break. A/C and dehumidifier running 24 hrs. Plus I had to hook up another a/c unit for the family. Got to keep them cool at night too. I’d feel bad if my ladies were cooler then my girls 😜 Got new lights but they were to intense even at the recommended distance. Just had to much light and to much overlapping made it to intense. I took out the 2 smaller 600’s and now just have the 2-2000’s in there but with the heatwave I had to dim them to 50% and now 25% incase I don’t get home in time from work and not able to open tent all the way as equipment is not doing the job in this heat:( also if the circuit trips out again then I don’t want the temps to sky rocket. Last few times it trip temps and humidity increased to 86F and 65% RH, mind you I corrected it within the hour of it happening each time, so not to bad and that’s at the top of the canopy and lower into it didn’t quite get that high as on the floor it only raised to 82F. And for my troubles I see what I believe is the start of burnt leaves:( I should have known better as the top growth seemed to be a bit lighter and stretchy:( I’ll have these lights better dialled in for next time! My girls are growing nicely in spite of humidity and temperature at less than ideal values. I have a pretty big light... MarsHydro II 1600 and it's heating my grow room up to 30C if I'm not careful. I still can't get my humidity up over 30% for any length of time. Today I spend time sealing up the interior of the room so that I could keep humidity in. I'm going to adjust my inline fans too. I currently have 2 inline fans but maybe it's too much. I'll turn one off to see if that makes a difference. I added a cool mist humidifier but I'm starting to think it's too small for the room.

Semana 9 de floración: Los valores en el drenaje del riego, siguen altos la EC midió 1450 ppm y el ph me dio 6.8,(solo bajo muy poco el valor de las ppm.y del ph ha subido 1 punto mas), asique en la semana siguiente solo bajare mas las proporciones de nutrientes. Los cogollos se siguen cargando de resina y aumentando en tamaño , el aroma sigue siendo importante. Para la medición del drenaje se regó con un agua con un ph de 6.1 y unas ppm de 400, en el drenaje se midió un ph de 6.8 y unas ppm de 1500. (Valores altos y aun quedas 7 semanas más aproximadamente)

Ahojte všetci tak sme sa dočkali a máme tu krásne jarné počasie, ktoré už čoskoro bude veľmi ovplyvňovať môj kútok šťastia a vlhkosť bude nepriateľ číslo jedna.Začalo pršať vlhkosť ide hore 56% deň.Končím už 4 týždeň Flower a dal som už ten odvlhčovač skôr aby cez noc nebola vlhkosť nad 60%. Na začiatku 4. týždňa flower À la carte hnojív sa zatiaľ nemení, držím sa rovnakého tempa a čakám kedy začne obľúbený proces hrnček var a kitkám bude chutiť viac. Cal-mag Xtra je dosť silný a veľmi rýchlo vie dvíhať EC preto sa ho snažím dávať len každú druhú zálievku, pokiaľ nevidím nedostatky.Keby je taká možnosť chcel by som vidieť ten proces čo sa deje v koreňovej zóne vnútri v pote. Niečo ako tá rozprávka bol raz jeden život. 👉👉👉👉👉Bol raz jeden kutil ktorý sa v problémoch stravovacích pre kitky topil 😀. Ec čistej vody 0.5 tu sa začali moje problémy v kvete. Poďme pekne od začiatku. Celú vegetáciu som nepoužíval xmag calmag a všetko fungovalo hnojil som každú zálievku všetko podľa plánu. Výrobca udáva xmag Hnojit iba 1x týždenne ale ak som tam dával Magnézium 1ml začalo mi to strašne dvíhať EC 2 a potom som začal dávať 👉 vodu 👉hnojka fungovalo to do určitej chvíle keď tie kitky začali vykazovať hlad od hnojív. Ťažke tvrdá voda a calmag spôsobuje v mojom prípade,že sa mi tam usádzajú mineráli Ec prudko stúpa☝️.Do tejto ruskej rulety som pridal enzimy canazym nech sa to tam trocha čo tam nemá byť rozloží. Samozrejme ten cal-mag hodím ale bude ho len mierne lebo nechcem sa potopiť ako Titanic. Preto aj predchádzajúce grow,keď som nemal EC meter a stále som tam dával Hnojky pálilo kitky lebo problém bol hlavne vo vode a keď som tam všetko namiešal tak to EC bolo vysoko a potom aj výsledky boli aké boli. Ťažke tento trn s päty som dal preč a kitka hneď po vstupe ďalšia zalievka ukázala s hnojkami hneď iné hodnoty a to som hnojku dal 2x za sebou. Teraz čakám ako sa to bude ďalej už správať a verím, že toto bol hlavný problém, ktorý ma brzdil a môžem dávať Hnojky už stále a nebáť sa, že to budem kaziť. Držte palce zdravý Kutil.
