Good week for the girls. Stretching and growing well. Was busy this week with work and didn't have time for lots of photos. More to come next week.

With 33 grams on such a small plant I can't complain. I was amazed on the many hours (3) to clean the buds before curring. Several buds had rotten places because of the yellow leaves, they died and caused this problem Luckily I stopped in time and dived a little bit earlier in harvesting here highness.

Day 53 of flower today. I filled the reservoir from empty and stopped using the macro. I replaced it with General hydroponics Ripen at 5ml a gallon. Everything is frosty and smells good. As far looks I like the RC the best and the PE the least. I'm going to end up with a sheet ton of it out of the 3 so I hope I'm wrong! 😆 I'm going to do a lower defoliation mid week to get more air flowing. RH is stable but I just want to be careful 🧐 being this close to the finish line. This is definitely one of the easiest runs I've had. It seems PE is pretty maxed when it comes to nutrition but LMC and RC could take a bit more. My PE phenotype is super stretchy compared to them as well.

Put them both into 10ltr pots at the end of last week. The sun hasn't been about to much so they haven't done much but they are getting taller and stretching a bit. I've got more seeds but will probably take cuttings from these two as they will be more mature and must be closer to showing sex 👍

Moved dem girls into direct sunlight so they are getting more light coverage now....jus leave dem to do their

Two derpy runts haven’t move much in 24hrs. Treated them all the same. Under one T5 LED for now. Ah well. One didn’t make it and I’ll be giving a seedling to a buddy. ********** Edited Dec 4 ********** Another tap root popped out….one more added to the crew. 3 out of 4 so far. **********EDITED Dec 3 ********** Couldn’t wait… Seed soaked 2 Mafia Candy overnight in some Zeus Juice (fulvic), paper towel for 48hrs and tap root finally popped but I’m impatient and thought they were duds so I soaked another two last night and waiting for them taproots now…looks like imma grow 4 this run (if they all make it). Two seeds with taproot: into peat pellets sprinkled with VAM (mycos), into soil and now I just sit back and pray. Maybe I’ll just let them grow. No topping, no training. Veg for a few weeks and flip. My man RightHemisphere.Genetics hooked me up with some breeder seeds and his own creation Mafia Candy (fem). Soil has been cooking for 30+ days. OneShot, worm castings, biochar, oyster shell, bone meal blah blah blah. Just a few more times with this ‘style’ of growing and will switch to something easier and simpler cuz growing with Nectar is just too crazy. Gonna pop 2 Mafia Candy soon, just gotta figure out timing as I’ll be away for a week in Dec and might not be able to find a plant sitter…. Will be updating the diary with more pics when they pop. Update week 10 from seed

Another wonderful problem free week for my Black Jack Auto! Some lower leaves have faded and dried out. And now some of the top leaves are starting to fade a bit. No crazy colors yet, but I'm keeping the tent a bit cooler and crossing my fingers. No nutrients this week. Runoff ppm is around 1100 so I think she should be fine until finishing. She got crazy frosty this week. Her lemon smell has gotten much more complex. At the forefront now it smells like Fruity Pebbles (artificially fruit flavored puffed rice cereal) Lemon-lime and brand new leather shoes 🤷‍♂️ I am addicted to sniffing this plant. The nugs are swelling well now and I anticipate harvesting in week 11 or 12. Thanks for following along.

I think this is the first week where I've started to have some issues on just about every plant. The buds still look awesome and healthy, but I'm being a bit paranoid that the rest is gonna go down quick. They all have leaves that are starting to yellow a bit. Temp: Trying to push the temp up. Its 70-80 but usually closer to 70. Humidity: Closer to 60, trying to get it down with a new dehumidifier soon. Critical Kush - Minor yellowing Quarter Pounder - Had some spots on this on Thursday and starting to yellow. I skipped the Dr Earth Life in the previous feeding because it looked like it had some burn, but now I think its suffering. Amnesia - On Sunday, after watering on Saturday, the Amnesia seemed to take a pretty big hit. A lot of the leaves dried up and got crispy and I'm not quite sure why. The preflower stretch has been incomparable to any Soil grow I've seen! These sativas already caught up and don't show any signs of slowing down.

Week 4 update - had to list it as a flower week as we flipped em half way through. Exotic wasn’t lying - the spicy bitches hit maturity rather quickly and we now have a guaranteed 2 males and 3 females - perfect ratio score👌👍. Balls started showing in a span of 12-36 hours. One of the females entered flower early so she may be a dud, an auto or just stressed for some unusual reason. We’ll probably either separate er or let it grow with the rest and pitch it. Won’t be using that seed knowing that underlying issue. Similarly, one of the males has also demonstrated some fan leaf mutation - I actually like this kind of variation and it makes things interesting so bonus there👍. The rest of em are doing just fine. So god damned nice to have a run that’s on a quick schedule to finish within 3 months. It’s been a long year for the pollen chuck and we’re really looking forward to the upcoming all fem. Run. For now though - conditions look ripe for a bunch of awesome crosses, any one of which could be pure 🔥. Till next week yall🤟. In the event that does take place we’ve got a single clone of each strain from the previous pollen chuck to sit in the tent with them so they can make babies for the next few months. The whole point of the last year was to start making some foundational genetics for a third generational cross we could call our own. If you’ve been following along than you’ll know that it’s been anything but easy. Our previous pollen picks didn’t pan out at all so we’re back to the drawing board with a new option from ExoticSeeds. This’ll be a 10 plant run with 5 regs and 6 strains for pollination including the strain itself. We’re running in a 2x4 MarsHydro grow tent all powered by a Mars Sp6500. That’s a little more than 600w packed into half the recommended footprint😳. Why? you ask - because we like our buds big and overcompensatory😂. Really, I’m just of the mind that we can pack more light into this space than recommended and get much better results. The math doesn’t lie. At least not as long as I wasn’t high when using the calculator again….. Many thanks to @MarsHydroLED for the opportunity to test run the equipment👊. In addition, we’ve also moved to a new nutrient system - Druid Nutrients out of the Netherlands. They don’t really have a presence on GD yet but you’ll be hearing about them very soon I’m sure. The beauty of this system is that it’s literally a 1 (one) component system for the entirety of the plants grow cycle. It really has changed the game in terms of ease of feeding and maintenance. It’s also very versatile and seems to provide everything needed across multiple different strains in the same ratios. Keep your eyes peeled for these folks. Pretty much a guarantee that they absolutely blow up once more people know about them👍👌😎. Strain Background Spicy Bitch: predominantly sativa, heavy yielder with a daytime kinda trip profile. It’s a cross of Queen Mother and a Pre-2000 AK47. We’ll pull what pollen we can and hope to have a female run out a larger supply of seed for the future. Many thanks to @Exoticseeds for the chance to give these beans a go👍👊. Pollination Strains: Holy Surfer S1 - this is one of the focal points for this cycle. A fellow growmie was kind enough to ship over some S1 genetics I took an interest in. The only ask back was that if I did cross it to send a few his way for testing👍. It’s a compact and squat plant requiring very little maintenance. Typical for the strain really. It’s been chosen as an option to potentially mellow out the high , shorten the stature of the resulting hybrid and inject it with some of that mellow indica effect. Boogie Nights - total shot in the dark. Still haven’t even tried the strain myself yet but it was available at the right time and interesting enough to make a salad with. Big thanks to AMS who’ve been nothing short of an excellent seedbank to collaborate with. Expect similar growth characteristics to that of the Northern Lights. Better resilience however. Blueberry - this particular clone is from extremely strong stock. Spliff seeds broke the mold with this strain. She’s lower maintenance than the NL, more resilient than anything else we’ve got on the menu and the terp. Profile on this girl is out of this world. If we can bring any of these qualities to the cross, then it could be magic👌. White Widow - garrghh, I just can’t get away from this particular plant. Again, still haven’t even tested the buds yet and all I can say is that the growth characteristics are extremely vigorous and desirable. This plant is one of 3 unicorns that I have yet to tame due to a combo of extremely bad luck and circumstance. All told, it’s still the same story: a VERY experimental breeding project designed to shotgun a broad swath of genetics against a reliable and dependable Breeder who’s put out proven fire 🔥🤟😎👍.

Week 7 of Veg. 4x4 filled out very nicely. Added in a 2nd 500W light and spread the plants out a bit more to allow more airflow/light penetration. Now the fun begins :D

These girls didn’t give me any issues at all. They just screw themselves. I planted one seed and when I did the mainline, I cloned the top, which is how I ended up with two plants. I can’t believe how big the buds got all this girl trimming it was a nightmare. There was so many leaves, some of the buds are so big that I did a small amount rot in one of them It’s so happened to be the biggest bud. I was running the humidity kinda high about 60% the whole time. About this plant doesn’t have much of a nose on it but she looks great and Got over these two.
