Rainbow melon has stolen my heart truly one of my favorite grows this year will definitely be growing her again in the future I have a clone I took off of her is doing well. What can I say? Rainbow melon has solid fat juicy nugs all over the plant, the node spacing is on point almost filling the branches all the way up with buds. FastBuds420 4Life

I believe this will be the last week this girl will stretch. Shes got arm buds at the ready and will be full on flower from here on out. In going to keep her nitrogen at a high for these next two weeks and dip out after mid week 6 and keep it just bloom shiz. She is gorgeous with 7 main colas. Would be easily 12 but one main got snapped due to her topping her own self(stakes). Yes these girls can do that. They will drive thsy stake out the ground and the California gold in my other diary did the same as well. The effort/force topped them so I lost some branches and instead took a loss. I love her and it's so crazy how she started out small. 1 gallon is blooming out. Stripped all lower sites to a degrees none of that garbage yah here. 3 gallon just got some orange hairs. We are now beginning to fall out of the stretch.

Last week wen smooth as it is supposed to go, girls are loving the conditions so its time to start feedings, for this run I’m using all in one pallets as food and just watering with Regulator ( a must in my water) and some microbiological help and iff and wen needed, only them i will complement extra N, P or K as needed. Fed GH 3 part with Terpinator in flower and some recharge occasionally.

Started the journey with a Mephisto's wedding, and Fantasmo express. Hoping the difference in heights is not too drastic. Plan is to press these plants once harvested. For now, they are little, but barring not having a diffuser for the photo e app, I trust that the environment is on the right track. Finally reaching a year of growing with this one so I'ma focus on the root zone. That's where I usually fall short, but not these. The Meph lab will create monsters after Halloween!

First heavy trimming

Rough week! Found two major hermie issues Pheno #5&2. Could be because they where the OGs and they just had a long stressful life. Really bummed because they where the biggest in the tent for sure. Have a coupoe tops with orange hairs so maybe got pollinated, all i can do is keep my eye on them! Besides that everything is looking so great had to re-train and move canopy around but still have full coverage. Getting allot more tops

Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I did some HST bending on my photos and cut down 2 of the 3 Blackberry’s. The branches are starting to recover and straighten out after the HST now. I still have some issues with pale leaves and a few spots here and there. I’m going to try adding some Dolomite Lime with the next watering and think that should help with the paleness. I’m also going to up the amount of CalMag and Mammoth P to see if that helps with the spotting. I’m not sure if I should see the spotted leaves recover or if the spots will remain. I suspect the spots will remain on the existing leaves regardless of what I do at this point, but hopefully no new spotting will develop. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. Also all close up pics of the Critical+ are with the lights off and flash on. I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). I did just order “True Living Organics” by The Rev which I’m looking forward to reading. But I’m looking for more. I really want to step it up and learn as much as possible. Day 49 - lookin good..... been bending her, trimmin abit, messin with the water solution..... ph and ppm have been all over the place..... lol she's been transitioning from grow to flower, and once she settles into night mode, the solution and growing should stabilize...... the new fan is cool... tents working properly now, neg pressure, drawing in air behind the floor fan, blown around the bottom, and cpu extractor fan pushing the air out the top of the tent, straight into the filter..... really nice way to run a little tent, low airflow........ keeps the impurities out of the buds..... the stalks have all tuffened up since trimmin, and pretty strong now.... should hold the full weight that's about to occur all over the place...... i've simplified the nutrients, they were gettin alittle confusing, so started doin nuets differently, .... so, just making my own nuet solutions, nothing fancy just base amount of normal elements .... should be a pretty good christmas ...... Easiest week so far, no problems just growing. I did spray some neem oil on my soil a few days a go to keep pests out of the fox farm soil. Week 4 will bring in topping after the next node grows in, should be 2 or 3 days. Also towards the end of the week after she recovers from topping I will begin LST. Will provide pics throughout the week Posted first vid in real light not my 600 watt LED. Mainly for health purposes. This will be so interesting to see how blueberry will develop after an accidental FIMing lol. Personal Note: Wait to top when there is a full mainstem and not barely new growth. Meaning wait til the new growth has 2 fan leafs spread out, and not when they are just leafs barley sprouted from the main stem. Rookie mistake number 1 so far at the end of week 3. Or maybe time will tell if blueberry will be gracious enough to be a beautiful big buded tree. I read where FIMing can develop up to 4 extra colas and still grow beautifully. Fingers crossed.
