Alien OG Autoflower grew great, and finished beautifully. Strong smell, frosty, and sticky. She grew great under the Mars Hydro FC4800 light. It was my first time using the Gen 1:11 nutrients. I really like them, and will use again till I run out or get more. She will hang dry 24 hours then be put into the cannatrol for a 8 day cycle. I got a great grow to try it out the first time. 🤞. Thank you Aeque Genetics, Gen1:11, and Mars Hydro. 🤜🤛🌱🌱🌱 Thank you grow diaries community for the 👇likes👇, follows, comments, and subscriptions on my YouTube channel👇. ❄️🌱🍻 Happy Growing 🌱🌱🌱 https://youtube.com/channel/UCAhN7yRzWLpcaRHhMIQ7X4g

Bonjour à tous les padawans et maîtres jedis stretch 15 centimètres (Stretch explanations more) EXPOSURE TO LIGHT One of the main culprits in abnormal stretching of cannabis plants is the lack of light. Plants that are too far from an adequate light source will respond by accelerating stem growth in order to get closer to the lamp themselves. Especially when there are many other plants. A lack of lighting can easily cause overcrowding in a growing chamber, reducing the steady progression of your crop and the distance ratio between your bulbs and your plants. To address this problem, be sure to provide enough light to your plants to prevent stem growth. At the same time, you should not position your lights too close to your plants either since this would also result in an over-stretching of the stems and in some cases, the loss of your crop. In addition to the distance between the light source and the plant, the type of light you will use also affects the size of the stretching of your crop. The orange and red lights encourage stretching and result in thinner, larger stems. And conversely, blue light stimulates a growth of thicker stems and a smaller size. When a species is ready to enter the vegetative phase and undergo its most drastic stretching period, metal halide lamps can be used to deter far too long stems. THE HEAT Heat is another essential element that can determine the stretch size of your plants during vegetation. Temperatures above 27 degrees push the stems to lengthen more and more and will propel the potential of sativas to push as high as possible. Heat lamps that are positioned too close to plants create an intolerable environment that will grow large, soft plants that will potentially wobble until they fall and lose flowers in its fall. OTHER CAUSES OF STRETCHING There are multiple variables that can lead to the stretching of plants beyond what could normally be expected of the plant. Environmental stressors resulting from transplantation (when a plant passes from one pot to another) can cause the plant to return to shock. This will eventually trigger a reaction causing a stretch. Cannabis plants that are not grown in decent conditions or do not receive enough nutrients will respond in a variety of ways and this includes stretching. Crops that are not spaced far enough apart are likely to stretch to sting the light to other plants. Due to extreme proximity, the plants will fight among themselves to reach the light, forcing them to expand as much as possible throughout the crop. HOW TO CONTROL STRETCHING DURING FLOWERING Stretching during flowering, you guessed it, takes place when you move your plants from the vegetation stage to the flowering stage. This is a completely normal reaction, as your plants are preparing to bear the weight of their heads. Stretching of a plant at the beginning of flowering varies widely; some plants can double in height while others grow only a few centimetres. There are, however, two main variables that can give you at least an idea of how your plants are stretching during flowering, and how much. Here are these two variables: Variety: Genetics has the greatest impact on the size of your plant. In general, sativa varieties stretch more than indicas and tend to develop long, slender stems. Light: Some lights, such as HPS, are more likely to encourage stretching. In addition, great distances between your canopy and your lights will cause the plants to stretch as they try to get closer to the light source. Stretching during flowering usually lasts the first two weeks of the phase. To minimize stretching, keep your lights between 10 (for CFL) and 30 centimetres (for HID) of your canopy. Finally, choose indica varieties if you have a smaller growing space. HOW TO AVOID STRETCHING In many cases, you can expect your cannabis plants to stretch during the flowering phase. Keeping that in mind helps to make a plan in case your species ends up growing much more than you could have imagined. If the information is available, get information on the standard size of your species and compare it to the size of your growing space taking into account the necessary distances between the bulbs and the plants. TRAFFIC While outdoor crop operations benefit from natural air to naturally limit stretching, indoor crops must assume the maintenance of air circulation within a confined space. Basic ventilation is enough to help the cannabis stems strengthen and become thicker rather than too high. In this way, the plants continue to grow vigorously without reaching heights and at the same time, your tolerance ceiling. MANUAL INTERVENTION For growers who want to get their hands dirty, there are physical procedures that can be done to reduce stretching. Similar to the natural effect that the wind has on cannabis plants, manually bending the leaves and stems will cause tiny cracks in the plant's tissues that will cause the plant to focus on regenerating its wounds instead of its vertical growth. THE TOPPING Topping is a form of manual intervention on cannabis to influence its performance, shape or size. In essence, topping is a process in which a new node is cut, growing from the plant to reduce its size and create a "v"-shaped notch that will eventually form two heads. Topping may be an effective measure to combat stretching, but it is important not to do so when the flowering phase begins. In most cases, an abnormal stretch of cannabis plants will not completely destroy your crop. In fact, stretching can indeed help increase your performance. For growers with a growing operation large enough to contain tall plants, stretching can increase the total yield of a species with more vertical space for head formation. In both cases, stretching can easily be planned in advance and there are multiple solutions to help you with this problem which is all too common. Watermelon is the plant that blossomed first but has probably suffered from time. Now it is late compared to the others ... but ok!

Bubba Kush Mintz is starting her journey. She sprouted in one. She has stretched a little too much looking for light. I did increase the light to compensate. Beside that everything is going well. I think my solution mix is too strong. I will know more as she makes contact with it. Thank you Aeque Genetics, Spider Farmer, and Athena. 🤜🏻🤛🏻🌱🌱🌱 Thank you grow diaries community for the likes, follows, comments, and subscriptions on my YouTube channel. This lemon cheese is growing very well s lot of nice nugs covered in trichomes. The nutrients plan and watering schedule stayed the same as the previous week. I bought an electric microscope so expect trichomes pictures soon. 23/07 Update as promised I caught a couple trichomes pics and I can count 2 amber trichomes in the crowd, I will start flushing starting tomorrow

No complaints this week. All 4 of the ladies are flowering well, pistils are all over the plants. Bruce banner will be a very frosty plant judging by how she was the 1st to start producing tricomes on her leaves. They went from drinking every 2 days to at least once a day. Im excited to see how well the buds produce and swell up over the next 2 weeks..ill make sure to continue to do everything on part to stay dialed in on the ladies. Will keep yall updated in my next upload😎✌️🏽

Week 3 has come and gone and it was a sight to see!! All the pistills came in nice and strong. I have to get in there and defoliate every couple a days a bit. This will be the last week of defoliation. Once I can see the main bud sights I will do my final trim. Started reducing the Nitrogen as the stretch faze comes to an end and up the bloom ferts. I cant raise my light much more so I hope they stop stretching this week. Im excited to see the flowers grow into these pistills and watcch the calayx swell.

Hello growmies! Welcome to week 9... which is the final week for these utterly rapid F1 hybrids from Royal Queen Seeds. Day 60: Well well well, while doing a quick loupe check I realised these ladies were about ready! So they were harvested and are currently drying! Harvest update to follow after dry. It is sort of hard to see the amber trichs under the microscope because in the actual buds themselves is where they were most developed, but it was easy to see with the loupe, and you can see some here and there on the sugar leaves and many "on the turn" and yellowing. Anyway they are drying now... and I have REALLY BIG NEWS. Due to the ridiculously rapid nature of these brilliant Epsilon F1 hybrid cannabis plants, it has become technically possible for me to squeeze another grow series in before the summer break... ...so here is the very first official announcement of that: Coming very soon! UnorthadoxDude Grow Series 3: An Epsilon Adventure! With gratitude and warm feelings to James and the rest of the team at Royal Queen Seeds for making it possible and sponsoring a more in-depth look at the Epsilon F1. This grow series will feature TEN Epsilon F1 plants from Royal Queen Seeds. If you want to grow a plant that meets or exceeds the breeder's claims on speed, grow these! https://www.royalqueenseeds.com/uk/f1-hybrid-cannabis-seeds/620-epsilon-f1.html This will be a perfect opportunity to test some nutrients side by side and I may well do that, the exact configuration of planting and training (if any) I have not yet decided, however I will attempt to grow all ten, and they will have the entire grow space to themselves. Any thoughts, comments, and suggestions are welcomed. Any nutrient suppliers out there that want to get in on this grow please get in touch. I grow in coco and currently use BioBizz primarily.

Almost there- chop day for the rainbow forest! 🌈✂️ After 77 days, the plants have reached that perfect 10% amber / 90% milky trichome ratio I was aiming for. Even though they’re three different genetics, they all hit the sweet spot around the same time. I’ll be back soon after the great chop chop with a full dry and smoke report. Happy days, Growmies! 🌿🔥 Stats for the grand finale: 💧 Watering: 1.5L every other day 💦 Humidity: ~55% RH 🌡️ Temp (lights on): 22–26°C 🌡️ Temp (lights off): 20–22°C 📈 Avg. VPD (lights on): ~1.45 kPa

This weekd most some more orange appears on the buds as they get ready for harvest. Im going to start flushing them next week for 1 week before I harvest. They seem to have about 30 or 40% orange hairs on the buds so i hope i time it good. I will update next week. Peace

Got the Spider Farmer wicking system set up with a reservoir. Up until now I’ve been using purchased pure water since it came with a better starting pH than my tap. After running the numbers, the cost of hauling jugs didn’t make sense long term. I ended up grabbing an RV water inline filter for the garden hose, which strips out most of the chlorine and other contaminants I was worried about. Goal was mostly a stable water source because the girls are getting thirsty; I still prefer hand-watering to wet and activate the top dress. Access is only from one side of the 5×5, so as they bulk up I’m learning the back two are a chore to reach. The wicking pads help keep things even between rounds, but I’m still going in by hand to finish the job. Did a defoliation pass; airflow and light paths improved, but I may need to push it a bit further because I don’t want a lot of larf. Crazy how much plant material I pulled off but they seem fine. Light feels like the current yield limiter. The SF4000 is solid but a touch undersized for full 5×5 penetration, the lower canopy isn’t getting what I want. I’m eyeing a higher-wattage bar style light for better edge uniformity and deeper PAR at canopy. I’ve been testing edge light saturation with the SpiderF PPFD sensor at canopy height. Center readings are strong but the corners and long edges are clearly lacking. Smaller tent or smaller plants another option maybe. Im at 100% on my light and will be for the rest of the grow just raising it to keep distance. Plants look happy overall. The Durban Cookies is standing out, taller and more vigorous than the 10th Planets especially for being a week younger than the rest. I am guessing it will be harvested first just by stretch speed alone. The 10th Planets R1s all have a pretty even canopy going but showing stretch. Wicking system + hand-water combo is keeping the media right where I want it, and the top dress from last week is kicking in. Reminding everyone this is my first grow. Hoping for a pound dry, but I won’t be greedy. Keeping my expectations realistic! Thanks for following along.
