Week 8

Day29 12/12 light

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. I finally harvested all of my photo plants. So my 2 auto plants are getting an outage for the rest of their lives I have moved them both into my larger tent with more light and more room. I’m sure 100%h sure why both of these plants are alot light green. I think it’s I got a little behind on the nutrients but the green is slowly comeing back. It’s been hot lately I have the lights running at night now

Die Rs11 wurde erfolgreich nach nur 48 Stunden im Papiertuch vorgekeimt, bis die Pfahlwurzel eine Länge von ca 1-2cm erreicht hatte. Danach hab ich sie direkt in den Coco Plug gesetzt, so dass sie die Keimblätter schön entwickeln kann.

Week 2 has gone just as well as I'd like it too! I had an accident during the week where I had dropped a sticky bug trap on one of my girls, this led to me accidentally ripping off a fan leaf and a half, but she seems to have come out of it just fine! (Thankfully). I have been feeding 1/3 strength nutes the past few feeds, stepping it up from 1/4. I will be watering until I see runoff from now on to prevent nutrients from building up in the coco. Update(day 15, 4/12/20) Today I purchased a new oscillating fan, co2 bags and a new hygrometer that hooks up to my phone and shows me stats. The girls have been putting in a lot of work over the past 24 hours. I also had a Purple Punch photo seed sprout today which I may be turning into a mother plant. I will be starting a diary for this girl too. Update (Day 16 5/12/20) Second purple punch photo popped today, going to keep 1 inside and give the other to my mom to take care of. The girls got their first 1/4 dose of calmag today fed at 6ph due to all the nutrients settling there.( I do have ph +/- but I'm going to try run this whole grow at 5.8-6.2. Update (Day 17 6/12/20) Plants seem happy today. Fan leaves producing a the pre-existing nodes are starting to shoot out quite rapidly. Unfortunately, my streets power went out today for ~90 minutes, I opened the tent, windows and doors to get any light in I could, thankfully the power came back on shortly after. I fed the girls today with very little run-off(I'm trying to perfect the amount of water they need). Update (Day 18 7/12/20) The girls have jumped up over night! I wont be feeding today as I'd like the coco to dry out quite a bit more. Update (Day 19 8/12/20 Gave the girls a small feed today with very little run-off Everything seems to be going well so far, I'm very thankful! Update (day 20 9/12/20) Everything is going pretty well today. I will not be feeding as the increased humidity has kept the coco more moist than usual. Will be feeding full strength nutes tomorrow! I reported this plant after it snapped the leaves started to die extremely fast so I figured she couldn't breathe. Dying has slowed down however. Just gave her a gallon and a half of fresh water no nutrients

This week I really cut the girl - so that she focused her strength only on the buds. Two more weeks and she could reap. 😉

Grew well, just wanted a little tasty, all organic seed for further tasting later on so dusted with pollen of a Cherry Pie male, pollen was 1year old, on one of the lower branches,and another branch with my MYSTERY COOKIES TWIN MALES 6month old pollen, cutting off tomorrow morning and look for seed or sensimilia, either way I learned something and got stinky ass grass to enjoy, or nice seeds! Ps no seeds😕 but i learned how to not store pollen, no plain envelope. In search of ideas. And new males. Roots would explain poor production. 00

Low stress training was a good choice with these, we planted the 6gal Amnisa closer to the edge to allow us to grow her horizontal across the entire pot.. we also topped her this week, we've been doing this a lot lately with plants we train this way, it makes a forked end with 2 large buds 🤘🐱..the bottom growth has caught up with the rest and she's starting to fill out.. we cut nutrients this week, everyone in the tent has been on the same schedule but were starting to get a little too dark, we'll go back to our normal routine next week if color improves. I think we're going to make the 6 gallon Amnisa the focus of this diary..we have 3 plants and they all look identical..node spacing, leaf shape, size etc..we're going to veg the 6gal Amnisa for several more weeks but we're flowering the rest ASAP! 🤘🐱 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The voodoo juice x platinum hermed this week so moved it to it's own tent. We have 6 plants remaining in the room. I cut out the maxigro this week. They are getting .5 tsp per gallon of maxibloom now. Seems to be keeping everyone happy. Not much to report other than that. Buds seem to be progressing pretty nice.
