Hello fellow growers, I am pleased to start this new journey with you. I am also particularly excited since I am going to grow a Mephisto Genetics strain for the very first time, the famous Double Grape. I know you shouldn't believe the hype, as Public Enemy used to say, but it's hard to ignore the dithyrambic reviews when it comes to Mephisto. I sowed the seed directly in the substrate and it was popping out 3 days later. Right now the seedling is under my Mars Hydro TS1000, brightness set at 25%, lights are 80cm away. During my last grows I set it up to the max at all stages of growth, this time I decided to proceed differently and increase gradually. Germinated for 24 hours in a glass of water, 48 hours in a paper towel and then I planted them into biodegradable seedling pots. Northern Lights looking a bit ahead of the Dosidos seeds but that was expected I’ve grown Northern Lights before and they sprout real quick. One of the Dosidos’ first true leaves is looking a bit wonky but we’ll see how it goes I suppose.

I've defoliated a few leaves, they are starting to show viable trichomes now.

Day 141 still going started to reveg but lowered light schedule

Week 9: Day 57-60: Seemed to have gotten the deficiencies(rather PH fluctuations causing them) under control. 4AM#3 took a while to recover but it has stopped progressing for the time being and the buds have continued to bulk up while the pistols start to orange out. 4#1 and #2 are doing good. They recovered faster and started to really bulk up. I'd say 4AM#1 has about 50-70% orange pistils while 4AM#2 and #3 are at about 10% by day 60. Damn like I said last week 4AM#2's buds are gona get huge! One of them tipped over on day 60, had to add support, but quite hard to find a spot when half the branch is the bud... Day 61-63: Continuing to bulk up, the 1.25x Calmg dose on day 60 seemed to do them well! 4AM#3 hasn't been showing any new signs of deficiencies, so that's good! Hoping she won't be too premature when I chop the plants(I am chopping days 73-74, only days I have time), but the pistils are starting to go crazy! Around 50% orange pistols now on 4AM#2 and #3! And 4AM#1 has about 90-95% orange pistils. When I used the handheld microscope, which is hard, the trichomes are almost all milky and some 5% amber on 4AM#1 and about 30-50% milky and a few amber on #2 and #3, seems like it will be just right! Can't wait! Gave em their last big feed of blume nutes on Dy 63, will be giving them plain PH'd water with Regulator till harvest. 10 Days left! almost there! 4AM#3 might look ugly but she still frosty and thicc as hell! Oh and they smell delicious!!! 😵 EDIT: Oh and just wanted to say thank you for all the help you all have given me so far! Oh and shout out to FastBuds, which sent me a message last week saying they were interested in me growing their genetics! They're sending me some free seeds for my next grow! How awesome is that!

Beginning of week 5 and I finally started to LST the lady's. Had to give time for blueberrys recovery from getting FIMed lol. To be honest I'm gonna let them grow another week and transplant week 6 into there final pots. So this week will be the start of a very long and dedicated process of maintaing a good canopy. Overall I think flowering should be 3 weeks away. Not trying to have a monster harvest on my first go around. My focus is to just succeed at my first grow and be proud of my personal stash at the end of this awesome journey. I plan on starting a new grow after this one so I know what to expect and plan bigger and better, this is more of a test run to see if I can grow good weed indoors. So far so good. Day 30- Topped Alaskan purple.

Hey everyone 👋 Here's this week's update: Matcha is still small and I believe she'll stay like this but at the time she's doing better compared to last week, so that's a win. I wonder, did I do something wrong? Was it the lack of CalMag or maybe the heat? Maybe I got a weird phenotype? (I doubt this) or what else could've happened to her? The truth is there are tons of different things that could've caused this and I wish I could know what could've caused this (I'll be making a grow question regarding this). Pistachio on the other hand is doing well, she's huge compared to her sister and she grew a looooot this week! Some leaves are slightly dark and some tips are a bit too bright as well but there's no signs of burn so I assume she might be on her the limit! Personally I suppose the mycorrhizas might be the ones at fault in here. They make feeding more efficient so probably the "normal" dosage might be a bit too much for them... and for that reason alone I decided to lower the amount of Green Grow that I was using, hopefully that will help. 🙏 I also decided to give 10 weeks of vegetation to these plants. Hopefully Matcha will grow a little more during this time (she's still at 20cm) but at this moment I expect nothing from her, I'll just allow her to surprise me haha. 👻 Thanks for reading! Og kush auto - 420fastbuds Harvested! Super awesome strain!

Day 71. Starting to show some purple, which was unexpected! Removed a few leaves that were overlapping. Day 74: Today was a bit heart breaking. We found a spot with botrytis/stem rot starting to set in. It appears we have discovered it fairly early. After searching treatments, we ended up doing a mix of them to try and avoid losses. Obviously cutting the branch off would be the most obvious choice, but we are trying to keep her as is and do some experiments in the name of growing science. We dusted with cinnamon, which has proven to be efficient in terms of anti-fungal properties, and let it sit for a couple hours. Then, we decided to remove the spot where the rot is showing up. We sprayed with H2o2, scraped out the affected area as much as possible, sprayed again and wiped dry. We then sealed the wound with candle wax. We also spread some more cinnamon on other susceptible entry points for fungus, mostly where leaves had been cut or where the stem was more fragile. We really hope this turns out well and we win this fight against the dreaded fungi. We suspect the raise in humidity this week triggered it. She was in the 30s to 40% last week, but the weather changed and she rose about 60% these last couple days. Pray for us, grower friends. Day 75: Had to remove the side branch that was connected to the main stem at the spot where the rot appeared. 😕 Patched her up and am praying this is the last of the consequences of this situation.. Pushing as much as we can to avoid and chop her early.. Day 77: Gave her the final haircut. 😊 Mold situation appears to be under control. Looking frosty as fuck!

Very happy with this strain, fast and frosty! Only going to become a better grower by working hard everyday. Extremely pleasing smell and terpene profile.

Ramping up the EC continued. 1.2 for this week. It is increasingly hungry though so I need to find the balance for how much to ramp. I'd rather go a bit too low than too high though so taking it slow. Flowers have appeared and are slowly starting to develop. A subtle and very delicious smell is starting to develop. Also since last week they've been drinking a lot more obviously. Been giving around a liter a day each. Once a week a lot less to dry them out. Did some LST again as I wanted them to cover more surface. Lets see how next week goes.

Big fat buds! Last week before harvest, this pheno is very RS11 dominant which makes it my favorite in my growbox. Trichomes are around 10% orange which for me means we are almost in time.

It was also the last week for Bubblegum, who had some problems at the beginning and therefore took longer than the others. At the beginning of the week, she was given a thorough flush, then left to dry, and at the end of the week, she was given the usual two days of darkness. Despite the difficulties at the start, it was a very good result.
