Defoliation Day 18

. End of Week 5 (day 35): She's stretching really well, displaying a dominant stem and shorter surrounding shoots that I believe comes from the Gelato #33 genetics. I've not really done much trimming or defoliation, yet she looks almost naked. Her leaves indicate some stress, but the vigorous growth and appetite say "full steam ahead, Mister." With a sample size of one it's hard to know if she's the 1 in 5 chance Autoflower or not. I may pop the rest of the Gelato x GDP seeds out of curiosity at some point in the future, but its not a priority.

Was a good harvest wk. Think I pult about 5 others plants that drying week. And she held her smell from the start to the end of curing. No bushwhack smell (hay). And got some decent strong weed. Although not my favourite weed. In its own right for what it is. It is what it says. So, hence the 8 tars.

Flush is on! A gallon a day each of pH’ed tap water for the next week and a half to 2 weeks. Fall colors galore incoming! One is already going mad purple as I started it on the flush a bit earlier.

6 weeks old C/Mass clone mum we took about 5 cuttings from her so she's going to be fat already she has lots of branches growing off her short internode spacing so tight bud formation. As you can see we have opened her up without damaging her so no recovery or time wasted. We have pulled down all the main branches with soil clamps (fantastic) Its like a rib cage pull down and secure branches then all the small what would have been not much will now become much, much more. she has 3 weeks now to transform into a tree. The 3 girl scout cookies are the little supporters put in the 3 corners their autos from weed seed express{big up dem} for the freebies, the other 3 are for different projects. so here we are.. I know now not to overwater dem because my self contained unit contains the moisture hence da reader always in the soil to give me the correct reading. ph, ppm, and temp simple get a reader😇😇

Going to let her sit in darkness for a day or two and giving it one good flush with some cold water. She is about 15% amber. Sorry these pic suck— I broke my iPhone 8 which takes way better pictures than the new 13 pro. Go figure! So these are a touch grainy. The smells coming off this plant are amazing and unique—- like a soapy candy funk. I never grew anything quite like it. I have 3 more seeds and I am going to have to pop them for sure. Not too happy with how this plant grew ultra short without any stretch at all, but I only grew one out. Buds are nice and dense so it has a lot of potential. Chopping in a few!

Week three of this (up till now) 100% pure organic grow is behind us... She is looking great, really speeded UP in the last few days...💪 She has had only water up till this point.. I'm thinking that will change in the upcoming week but i have not decided yet... Hope it all goes good... fingers crossed👍

The final stretch. She MAY be foxtailing a bit, but she’s a 9-10 weeker (more typical?), pretty even throughout plant (so likely genetic?), and I plan to harvest in max 1 week so we will ride it out. Buds seriously starting to fatten up, put out some serious trichomes and smell this week. Smell has intensified quite alot since last week soon as you open the tent the smell smacks you in the face. More trichomes by the day looking like a serious smoke. Upped the EC to 2 for this week to try and get a much out of these as possible. I won't be going any higher than a 2 EC so I don't fry my plants. Some orange hairs starting to appear on both the cereal milk and wedding cake.

Senescence is really starting to set in, some nice purple hues in the flowers now which are quite hard to show with my camera 📷 These girls are meant to flower for 60-70 days, based on the maturity of the larger lady, maybe they will finish a bit earlier, but this time even if the trichomes get very amber, I’m going to try and push them through for the full 70 days. I will start checking trichomes next week, I don’t want to give myself any excuse to cut them down. I have chopped too early in the past, either because of botrytis or lack of patience. The flowers on the larger plant aren’t quite as full and symmetrical as the other plants, but she has a lot of colas to support and I’m sure the taste and flavours will be great! Migro UVB got installed today, 3 hours per day at ‘noon’ from now until harvest ✂️ P.s the pictures are a little darker this week, because I wasn’t lazy and dimmed the lights down this time 🙃

This week I decided to recruit my husband to get a proper look at this girl's roots. She's gotten so damn big that it's impossible for me to get a shot otherwise. Her root ball is massive. She's large and in charge. I went through and gave her another thorough round of defoliation. What I removed was any droopy leaves in the underbrush, as well as any fan leaves that were casting shadows and blocking light from my bud sites. When I was finished, I was able to stand over my plant, look down, and visibly see through to the base of my plant and grow media. Being able to do this suggests to me that my light source is also able to penetrate down throughout the plant as well. The removal of these leaves also contributed to improved air circulation and decreased humidity - both which are important as we progress through the flowering stage. This week I also caught my first whiff of this plant's sweet aroma. I'm excited to see how her terps develop over the upcoming weeks! 😋😋😋 I cloned another branch off this plant. Weekly Update This week showed a very noticeable difference between the two Primabella tomatoes. The plant on the right is growing in Sonnerde vegetable soil, while the one on the left is planted in Neudorff tomato soil. Unfortunately, I only had enough Sonnerde left for one plant, so the other three tomatoes ended up in the Neudorff mix. The difference in vigor and overall health is quite striking. The Sonnerde plant has established itself much better and shows stronger growth, while the plants in the Neudorff soil are clearly struggling and lagging behind. I contacted Neudorff about the issue, and they suggested that the soil may have been stored for too long at the garden center. As compensation, they offered to send me a bottle of tomato fertilizer free of charge. While I appreciate the gesture, I am still quite disappointed, especially considering that this was one of the more premium potting soils available at the store. For now, I will continue to monitor the plants and hope that the Neudorff tomatoes can recover and catch up over the coming weeks. 🍅🌱

Woche 11

700 ppm 5.9ph at least day 20/02 then I realize that she was hungry and start up ppm, 900 ppm and get a runoff of 850 ppm

Transplanted 6 girls into the hydro, 3 Bubble Gum Kush and 3 Critical +2.0. The critical is a beast, can’t wait to see how it grows! Dealt with some hot water issues but think I’ve got it together.
