Week 5 flower : upped the a&b to 2.5ml litre and steered the pk at 1.2ml per litre Blue cheese : they have completely outgrown the sunset sherbet . I’ve raised the light as the buds at the back of the tent were literally 1” away it didn’t do much harm although the leaves on them buds started to curl a little so I thought best to raise it now before it causes any stress . I’m still watering everyday to run off . I removed a few fan leaves but I am considering doing a bigger defoliation in a few days as the fan leaves have taken over . They are really starting to smell very sweet and filling out .I was worried about these seeds as I have grown Buddha blue cheese about 10 years ago and now they have changed the name to blueberry cheese and I was told they will be different from 10 years ago . So far I don’t think so as they look the same and smell the same at this point I can’t see any difference which I’m happy about as I haven’t had any good blue cheese for many many years .although they smell the filter is definitely controlling the smell outside the tent . Sunset sherbet : although it hasn’t grow very big it’s very frosty and starting to smell . I will carry on the pk for another 3-7 days and will start the flush about 6 1/2 weeks in for 2 weeks with plain water I will also defoliate about in a few days

As I posted last week, both plants started to strip the bottom fan leaves for nitrogen and nutrients. This makes perfect sense, as the perlite makes up 50% of the mix, after giving it some more thought. To remedy the situation, I ordered the Biobizz line, and both plants are now taking in 1 litre a day of the full Biobizz line recommended for All-Mix. This immediately stabilised both plants, which then enabled me to take the advice from Atomik_water in the comments and raise the temperature in the room to 29°C, while the plants remained around 26–27°C. Both plants are now receiving a DLI of about 55 and show no signs of problems under the current watering and nutrient regime. I therefore intend to keep things the same until they finish.

Excellent week of growth, we're in the second week of flower on the two little ones so I have begun the pollination process. The donor plant is almost as tall as me now it's ridiculous how big this plant gets. If I was doing a flower run Id have a staggering amount of cannabis at the end, as it is I have enough pollen to impregnate all of Canada lol, best steer clear of my facility lest you want a baby :)

SUNDAY 5/19: I accidentally left my UV timer in the "ON" position all night and half of the next day...fearing sudden death, I have moved everybody that was almost ready into the dark tent, including the Amnesia XXL Auto and will start harvesting them tomorrow..maximum UVB stress for about 20 hours...if it works out that they are even more potent than expected without turning brown overnight, I'll claim it was "intentional," and purport it as an "advanced technique" 😉 MONDAY: She's still sitting in the dark. I flipped on the green light and went into the tent for a sniff test on everybody...wow...she smells funky! 😳

Week 14 Update – Flower Week 3 🌸 The stretch is finally starting to slow down, and the canopy is settling into its final shape. The SCROG net has done its job, creating a much more even canopy with plenty of tops receiving direct light. Bud sites are stacking nicely across the tent, and white pistils are appearing everywhere as the plants shift their focus from vertical growth to flower production. The plants are drinking heavily and showing strong vigor despite the warm conditions. Airflow remains a priority as the canopy thickens, helping keep humidity under control and reducing the risk of mold later in flower. Overall, this week feels like the transition point where the garden stops stretching and starts building flowers. 📊 Current Stats 💧 Watering: 2L per plant every third day 🌡️ Temperature: 28°C 💦 Humidity: 65% RH 📈 VPD: ~1.39 kPa 💡 Light: ~800 PPFD 🕛 Light Schedule: 12/12 Looking ahead, the focus will be on maintaining a healthy canopy, good airflow, and consistent environmental conditions while the buds begin to bulk up over the coming weeks.

Zucker Zucker Zucker - es wird mehr und mehr und langsam sieht es so aus als wenn auch der Stretch durch ist. Das heißt nächste Woche lollipoppen. Auf jeden Fall wird es gut Arbeit werden bei beiden Pflanzen. Die guave wächst sehr dicht die internodienabstände ebenfalls. Deswegen läuft jetzt auch der dritte Ventilator mit im Zelt. Heute gab heute gab es dann auch eine normale Dosis PK 1314 um einen ordentlichen Schub zu gönnen. Ein calmg Problem konnte ich bisher auch nicht weiter ausmachen. Top. Vom Geruchsprofil her ist die guava runtz eindeutig hier fruchtig, mit leicht bodenständigem Unterton. Sehr lecker und vielversprechend. Und sie hebt sich deutlich von der guava sunday ab. 🤤

Hello. This is the end of week 3 and the beginning of week 4 of flowering. I read an article a few years ago that said: If you force flowering for 3 weeks, you can put it outside after the summer solstice and it will keep on flowering. So, it's been a month since the summer solstice and this plant is going on to it's 4th weeks flowering. According to the article it should keep on flowering and not switch back to veg. This article was written for the Netherlands and where I live is below that latitude near the 48th, so they should keep on flowering. I saved a bit of pollen from my summer pollination run (see my Runtz Mintz Cream diary)and I'll be pollenating a branch, on this plant, this week, for future seeds. The plant is doing good. I see it's just starting to show some resin. I see lots of white stigma's, meaning... this plant will have big buds. OK. Be Great. Chuck.

Not too much on the scale but the terps and the intensity of the smoke is great. Two very distinct phenos that makes it so much interesting to understand the differences between.

Another week for this SOG of Auto's from our friends fastbuds, at the moment they are doing great, i do notice that some genetics required less food than others (they all got the same amount but some showed signs of N toxicity last weeks) At the moment we noticed the stretch and we needed to put the lamp higher, we are growing with a TS1000 at the moment and things are looking good 😊 The strawberry gorilla is getting a lot taller than the rest

My new grow pros solutions under canopy lights are really making the colors pop Black Cherry Gushers is a strain that's sure to turn heads. The buds are round and dense, like little nuggets of pure fire. And the trichome coverage? Absolutely insane! This plant is a frosty wonderland, begging to be admired. It's a testament to the grower's skill and the plant's incredible genetics.

Progress: starting to harvest. Update 10/9, we’re in the amber zone and will cut it all by 10/11. Marathon OG; 1 plant. Started harvesting earlier in the week, gradually taking down mature or at risk colas. The plant is probably going to be my best this year. Yield so far; I harvested 75%: fresh froze 2gal and cured 9oz. Theres another 4 oz still on the plant. 75% good to high quality dense and resin packed buds. This yield is for a 20 gallon plant. Lava cake: 4 plants (3-15 gallon 1-5 gallon). The main colas were mature with some amber. The sex pods were rotting on some so I took them down first to prevent any bud rot. Colas were mature (mostly mains) with hard dense buds. I took 30% and left about 70% still growing. I froze 4 gallons and harvested about a pound or so, hard to say yet as it’s just starting to dry. PPP is still waiting to be harvested. Funky looking purple bud stacks. Still some clear trichomes, mostly milky. Cant wait to try it. I ran some bubble hash: I ran some fresh frozen marathon OG as well as a pound from last years harvest. Bubble Hash Yield; < 2 0z 3g rosin quality A+quality (use a rig!) 10g high quality (dark rosin hash) A- quality 38g hash C quality (smoke in joints, like OG hash, but cleaner.) 10g low grade d/e quality (edibles or press for rosin) The fresh frozen produced the high quality rosin, but at a lower yield. The dried and cured pound from last years harvest produced so much ( an ounce and a half) it clogged up my micron bags. It’s good hash, but nothing like the fresh frozen rosin like hash. It’s gonna be a busy week of feeding, scoping, harvesting, drying, curing and trimming. The lava and the OG smoke great. The marathon og is so far my favorite to smoke. I have not tasted the purple push pops yet…..

Things are going just as I would expect for this stage and no gnats as of yet thank god for that🙏 If things go as planed top feedings will stop by the end of the week and I will move on to the reservoir on a 2 week cycle. The Mars Hydro TS 1000 is performing just as I would expect and that's to say flawlessly this little light works its magic best in the veg faze of the grow when growing multiple plants but in flower it will need some help. If I had 2 of them I think I would be fine in my 4x4 tent one for each plant or better yet the TS 2000 for each plant Until Thursday Happy Growing and as always Keep your stick on the ice 🏒 Update 📅Day 11 6/17/2021 she is well on her way and I am very happy with the progress. 👑 Godfather OG – Pheno B Week 8 | Letting Her Shine Welcome back to another chapter of the 8×8 Adventure! Sometimes a weekly update is full of changes. Sometimes there is a new technique, a new adjustment, a new feeding strategy, or something that needs correcting. And sometimes... you simply leave the plant alone. This week is one of those weeks. Godfather OG Pheno B doesn't need anything from me right now. She's healthy. She's lush. She's stretching beautifully. She's developing flowers everywhere. So this week, I'm doing something that can sometimes be surprisingly difficult for a grower: I'm letting her be. 🌱 And honestly... I love what I'm seeing. 🌱 Twelve Plants, Twelve Different Stories If this is your first visit to this diary, welcome to the 8×8 Adventure! This entire project is being grown using the 12/12 From Seed technique. Every seed received twelve hours of light and twelve hours of darkness from the very beginning of its life. There was no long vegetative period. No attempt to force every phenotype into the same shape. Instead, each plant has been given the same environment and the freedom to reveal what is naturally inside its genetics. And that has created one of the most fascinating parts of this entire project. Twelve plants. Twelve personalities. Godfather OG Pheno B and her sister are a perfect example. They share the same genetic name. They are growing under the same environmental philosophy. They receive the same lighting and feeding strategy. Yet they are very different plants. Similar family traits. Very different personalities. And that's exactly what makes a phenotype hunt so exciting. 👑 She's Getting Tall Godfather OG Pheno B has now reached approximately 160 cm. She's continuing to stretch upward while maintaining that elegant, open structure that has defined her throughout the grow. Her branches remain nicely spaced. Her canopy is naturally open. And there is still plenty of light finding its way through the plant. She's not trying to become a giant bush. She's doing something much more graceful. She's building herself upward. And the further she goes, the more curious I become about where this structure will eventually take her. 🍃 That Beautiful Green One of the first things that catches my eye when I look at her is her colour. She's lush. That rich, healthy green is still present throughout the plant, and the foliage looks strong and well supported. The leaves are beautifully formed, the stems are holding themselves confidently, and the entire plant has that unmistakable look of a phenotype that is comfortable in her environment. There is no reason for me to interfere. No reason to force a shape. No reason to remove something simply because I can. She's telling me she's happy. So I'm listening. 🌸 Flowers Slowly Taking Their Place The flower development continues beautifully. Fresh white pistils are still dominating the flowers, while the individual flower sites are becoming increasingly obvious along the branches. We're past the stage where they're just tiny beginnings. Now you can really start to see the architecture of the future colas. They're still young. They're still building. But they're there. And that's what makes this stage so enjoyable to photograph. Every week reveals another layer. A little more structure. A little more resin. A little more flower. A little more personality. Nature doesn't rush. It just keeps building. 💧 No Changes — Just Consistency This week I made no major interventions with Godfather OG Pheno B. No training. No defoliation. No structural changes. No attempt to redirect her. She's adapting beautifully, growing naturally, and continuing to develop under the same conditions. Sometimes consistency is the technique. And at this point, I genuinely believe the best thing I can do is allow her to continue doing what she's already doing so well. 🍽️ Feeding This Week The feeding program this week consisted of: Terra Bloom – 2.2 ml/L Power Buds – 1 ml/L Green Sensation – 1 ml/L Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L Lemon Kick – 0.03 ml/L, when required for pH adjustment pH Plus – 0.03 ml/L, when required for pH adjustment The solution was kept consistent with the overall flowering strategy of the room. No dramatic changes. No chasing numbers. Just giving her what she needs and allowing the plant to decide what to do with it. 💡 Light From Above & Below The Future of Grow LED Black Series 600W continues providing the primary light source for the project. And underneath the canopy, the Lumiflora under-canopy lighting continues helping illuminate those lower flowering sites. This is particularly interesting with a phenotype like Godfather OG Pheno B. She's tall. She's open. She's creating flower sites at different levels throughout the plant. So rather than expecting every photon to arrive from directly above, the under-canopy lighting gives those lower areas some additional support. I'm especially curious to see how those lower flowers develop as we move deeper into flowering. 🌡️ Environmental Conditions The environment continues to remain stable this week. The full-plant images show just how tall and elegant she has become. The close-ups reveal those beautiful early flowers covered in fresh white pistils. And then there are the leaves... Deep green, healthy, beautifully structured leaves that almost look too perfect to touch. This is one of those plants where photography makes me stop for a moment. You look at the whole plant and see the structure. Then you get closer and suddenly there is an entirely different world happening inside it. Tiny flowers. Tiny trichomes. New pistils. Veins running through enormous fan leaves. It's all happening simultaneously. 🔮 Where Is She Going? This is the part I'm genuinely curious about. I don't know exactly where Godfather OG Pheno B is going to take us. And I don't want to predict too much. She's already shown me that she's different from her sister. She has her own architecture. Her own rhythm. Her own way of expressing the genetics. And now I'm simply interested in seeing what happens when we give her more time. The stretch will eventually slow. The flowers will continue building. Those young calyxes will begin stacking and swelling. And somewhere along that journey, this elegant green plant will start becoming something much heavier and more defined. For now... i was surprised that she was done on 2/15/25 spidermites had completely taken over one bud so i decided to check trichomes and she seemed ready.

About this diary> So I've made it to the end! This baby didnt die on me! This diary was half a record for myself, to keep improving and contrasting against my future grows in and out of this wonderful platform (growdiaries), and half a tutorial for other noobs like me. That's why I wrote somewhat long explanations about some of the things I myself found confusing during this and last grow. I also repeated myself, but again mostly because I was trying to learn while doing. I got some help from other growers in the community, which was very nice, and different from trying to figuring out everything by oneself. This girl stretched a lot! from about 30 cm at the end of flower to about 90 cm before harvest, it survived nutrient burn, an accident were I dropped something heavy on her on flower, accidentally chopping a branch during LST and spider mites. However, still yielded nicely. I cant imagine what these genetics could become in the hands of a master grower!! About the growing conditions> The idea of the grow was, not only to learn how to grow a somewhat long flowering strain (6 week veg, 10 weeks flower) but also doing it very cheaply. I think the most expensive thing I bought was the seed from RQS. I built my own light fixture (from 4x 4.00CAD COBs from aliexpress), some cardboard, wire, sticks, tape and aluminum foil. I also used dollar store nutrients (like 15% of a 15-15-15 veg mix, and a 15-30-15 flowering mix). I timed this strain to finish a few weeks before the temperature really starts dropping outside, and was always able to keep it around 20-29C without any air conditioner/heater. About growing amnesia haze> I harvested this plant on the early side, but I found it a challenge not to harvest earlier! Since many weeks ago the delicious smell has been filling the room and some parts of the house... Plus, its a long wait... However, I think it was very well rewarded :) As I said, the high is creative, giggly, energetic and uplifting, at least from the premature samples we got. I will update this once the real deal is dry and cured :) About the harvest> Well in terms of numbers, I will update this when the weed is done drying, but I can do an estimate right now... each sample I took weighted about 1.45g wet, and dried to a 25% of that (0.35 g each)... It means that what I weighted from the harvest (412.86g + a bunch of trim) would probably weight about 100g when dry... Let's see how it goes in a week or two :)

7/9/29 día 1 de floración Esto arranca amigos, por desgracia lo hace con unas temperaturas altísimas, con maximas de incluso 32 grados debido a la ola de calor que estamos sufriendo. Ya hemos montado el sistema de riego y lo hemos preogramado para regar durante 1min cada 4h durante el día. La solución la hemos preparado con los productos Cyco arriba descritos, con una ec de 1 y un ph de 6,1. Por otro lado nuestro jardín. Esta iluminado por 4 barras led 100w de solux, y un lec solux de 630w aunque por el momento está a 315w debido a las altas temperaturas. Para empezar la floración lo hacemos con una defoliación y una poda de ramas bajas. Estaremos atentos a cambios en las pequeñas para intentar mantener en cada momento la alimentación adecuada, sin carencia y sin excesos. No te lo pierdas!! 9/9/20 día 3 de floración Buenas, nuestras pequeñas se aclimatan bien a la nueva alimentación y a su nuevo medio. Aumentamos la ec del tanke a 1,1ec y seguimos manteniendo el ph a 6,1. Por otro lado las temperaturas parece que disminuyen por lo que pasamos el lec de 315w a 415w, manteniendo así unas temperaturas diurnas de entre 26 y 27 grados. Esperemos que continúen descendiendo hasta poder mantener las temperaturas a 23 grados durante todo el día. La humedad ronda el 40% y estaremos atentos para que no suba de ahí.
