Growing super well. Gave some molasses and kelp. The pot has an ample supply of bone meal and blood meal so I’m not concerned about nutrients... yet. It is a very supple willowy plant and winds here can be vicious going into late summer and worse in the fall so decided to start training. Video shows how even a modest breeze blows those thin leaves around.

04/09/2023 Still no fertilizer, I'm just removing the yellow leaves that are falling off almost on their own. I should probably harvest them at different times based on their trichomes, but I'll have to dry them in my growbox, so I'll harvest them all at once, probably next week. I'm checking the trichomes every day, and the trichomes on the sugar leaves on plant number 1 are already starting to turn brown since 02/09

Week 6 2/9-15 Runtz Auto in full flower, the cute puffy white buds are starting the stack. On 2/13 I did major defoliation on Runtz. I removed all large fan leaves and any leaves shading bud sites. Initially, I thought this would be my last defoliation, however I have heard that 1) they continue to grow new leaves until day 20 of flower and 2) there must be enough foliage on the plant to photosynthesize energy. Well, I hope I left enough leaves for energy to keep bulking up the buds. She is still stretching and now 21inches. This is the end of week 2 flower. This should have been an indication Not to defoliate severely. Oh darn. My AC Infinity controller is set to flower. I add 2 gallons of water to the T700 humidifier daily to keep the VPD in line. 2/9 & 11 4 gal fed 2 liter each nutrients added at ½ of recommended amount. Making 4 gallons since I have 2 pots of carrots and a Dill in the back. Welcome to the first week of flowering in this run with BIG BLOCK by Cannabis Brothers. 7 days ago I took cuts and now I'm happy to show you the first shots of roots and also the amazing green canopy which I'm truly proud of. Each plant is marked as pheno 1, 2, 3, ...and here is a cut of pheno #9 showing the great success. Soon others will follow and then we will see after 3 weeks how many males or females we have and then we can have a first selection of potential keepers. For now I'd keep them all as they grow all equally good but time will tell how many ladies we actually have.

So I topped this gal to keep short and then the sativa traits took over and she grew tall and lanky which I would definitely change how I approach this strain in the future. Solid buds with a nice coating of trichomes. The yield won't be impressive but the quality is going to be banging with what she is producing. I cut more than half of this gals branches because her height was too much for my space so the final yield will not reflect what she could produce with the right training. it's amazing, this growth looks much better than my first attempt, my decision was to put a smaller pot and change the light - the girl really liked it, FastBuds goriilla cookies with a small space manage perfectly:).

2 weeks ago I was having challenges maintaining a temp because it was too cold. This week has been the opposite, it's like summer in the first 2 weeks of spring. Internal temp in the tent has consistently been over 30c for the first 3 hours when the lights switch on, way too hot. Wish there was something I could do to drop the temp but when growing in a tin shed it's impossible. Warm days forecast for the next week anyhow. All I can do is water and not let the roots dry out. Oh well she's looking very nice anyhow, a massive growth spurt this week, possibly as a result of the increased temps.
