left the girls to settle into their new environment. Have been watering every 4 days or so, not much rain this week. Plants are looking good and showing some signs of leaf growth which means the roots have already branched out. Chitosal as a root drench is supposed to help with drought tolerance and salt stress, no salt stress here as we are organic. Next week things to do: 1) spread and re-stake plants. 2) create a top amendment feeding and watering bowl under each plant with some chicken wire.

Week one of flower in the books I watered Monday with grow nutrients !! Then watered late in the week with phd water and molasses now I’ve switched to my bloom nutes as of this morning I did find that my ph meter is off glad I found the problem early on in flower could’ve been bad later on Oan in another 5 days I’ll do one more defoliation after that I won’t bother them again till harvest !!! Let me know what you guys think

So I am halfway through my first harvest and I'm starting to feel like I may have been impatient! Would appreciate any advice or constructive criticism from any experienced growers out there! Auto #2 ran into a slight speed bump (calmag def), last time I flushed my medium, bringing the ec down from 2.2 to 1.2 which in retrospect was too drastic especially in flower, rookie mistake on my part. Anyway to combat this temporarily until the pot dries back again, I misted the underside of the leaves with a 1.28ec nutrient solution; and the progression seems to have halted for now

Pictures are from Day 91. Top Gun 2 is coming to the finish line, the whole tent reeks and starting to see good amounts of amber, although the buds aren’t as solid as I was hoping for. I could harvest as soon as today. This grow has been another great experience of learning about these awesome plants. We’re deep into Week 8, and Blue Banana Cream is stacking up beautifully. Trichomes are looking frosty, covering the buds in a thick, sticky layer—definitely a strain that’s going to shine post-cure. The aroma has intensified compared to earlier weeks, now pushing out a stronger creamy, fruity scent with a slight gas undertone. Every time I open the tent, it hits harder. The buds are swelling up nicely, transitioning from airy to more mid-compact density. Pistils are still mostly white, meaning it’s got a bit more time before it fully ripens. One thing I’ve noticed—the branches are starting to lean from the weight, so some light support might be needed to prevent them from bending too much in the final stretch. I’m keeping temps at 18-20°C and humidity around 55-60% to ensure a proper finish. With harvest around the corner, it’s just about watching those trichomes shift from clear to cloudy/amber and letting this one reach its peak.

I harvested three from the first run and I’ll upload photos of those colas when I harvest this second run. She’s starting to fill up and finally the colors I’ve read about in her are coming out!
