So I've had the DIY CO2 generator (this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08NWWKQHB?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details) in the tent since weeks 2-3 of veg, but just today went to the dollar store to upgrade my 2L bottles to 96oz (2.84L) bottles and figured no better time to post it than now. Hopefully now I won't have to refill it every 3-4 days since it's been on full blast since flower started. It's controlled by a 12 volt solenoid that's on the same timing cycle as the lights for optimum photosynthesis. Tried the yeast/sugar jug at first but after some digging around found this to be the most efficient and consistent system (within budget) for the size of my tent. For the larger bottles I just took the same standard ratios recommended for the 2L's and blew them up by 2.5x (500g citric acid, 1500mL water; 500g baking soda, 500mL water).

Day 72: 600W LED, 18 hours on 6 hours off the same with ventilation. Ferilization is the same. Water intake also remains the same 200ml per day. Humidity approx 35 percent. Day 74: She needs a bit more time to be done like 2 weeks from now.

As you can see on the pictures, all seems to be ok except that the potting soil is maybe a bit too charged with nutrients: radish leaves are big and thin, the small NL plant is also a bit disturbed by this. This should get better with time. Tomorrow (Jan 08) I'll water the area around the NL5 with corn seed sprout tea. Goal being that with these growth hormones (SST) it'll be able to cope better with the super charged soil. The next step will be deciding which training technique to journey with: hst-mainlining (reg or quad) vs a more popular lst... @sensiseeds let me know if either is totally proscribed from your knowledge on how your genetics behave 😜. This week was busy.. feeding, training, defoliation, trying to figure out how I was going to handle the branches now that they're outside of the bag. This is what happens when you wing it. Worked out well though!

Day 112 Day 69 Flower 18/07/24 Thursday So I have checked I'm seeing more amber's now and hardly any clear!! So now she is going 24hrs in dark and no added water so she will dry out more over last 24hrs. The smell is incredible. Pungent gassy ice cream smell.

SUMMARY: Its finally time to start the flush and I'm aiming to flush for 2 weeks. I started the flush on day 95 flushing with tap water straight from the hose. I’ve heard you’re supposed to flush with 3x the container volume, however that would be around 57 litres for a 5 gallon pot which seems absurd. I didn’t record the amount but I took my time and flushed with at least 30 litres. I am now continuing to water twice daily until harvest aiming for 20-30% runoff each time. I water once of a morning around 11:00 giving roughly 2-2.5L and again of an evening around 18:00 giving a further 2.5-3L. DAY 93 ----------- Friday 26th March 18:30 I fed Jesus 3L of late bloom nutes which produced 740ml runoff (25%). [26°C/48%] DAY 94 ----------- Saturday 27th March 18:30 I fed Jesus its last ever feeding, 3L of late bloom nutes which produced 560ml runoff (19%). [26°C/48%] DAY 95 ----------- Sunday 28th March 18:30 I flushed Jesus with tap water straight from the hose. This little candy is very pretty, I think it should stay under 60 cm as it looks like it's about to end the stretch. This is crucial as the VGrow can only handle a 70 cm plant without removing the bottom. The irrigation for the feeding is working well, I can increase the amount if the pot feels light. Hoping it goes ok into flower, will try to add calmag to every watering from now on.

Final stage approaching. Flush is underway. The plants look healthy and resinous, with a very strong, sweet mango aroma🤙

The plants also showed a noticeable change in color, becoming significantly darker green, indicating an optimal nutrient supply and healthy development. Overall, it was a highly successful and satisfying week, with clear progress visible.
