too much nitrogen properties the reason for this strong concentrated fertilizers in consequence of which you get these dark green shades. I think that constant ventilation the stems become very strong and therefore, they do not lend themselves to tucking

So here’s Week 2 of the Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl XL Auto’s grow. All in all an easy week but there has been time spent reinforcing a couple of the seedlings because they are so top heavy. I check in on my seedlings at least once a day (oftentimes 2-3 times daily) just to make sure that all equipment is functioning well and temps are stable. Upon looking into the windows of the tent I discovered that the smallest seedling (the one that lost one of it’s cotyledon leaves) was tipped right over. I gently supported her with a homemade splint (a tent peg/pipe cleaner combo- pictured above) and she’s currently standing on her own again. She’s still smaller than the others but surviving, not thriving for now. I used some fresh additional soil to fill in any gaps and pack down around the bases of the other three plants’ stems. Speaking of stems/stalks- the three healthy seedlings have peeling/stretching stalks and are starting to push out their first sets of branches. Other than that, same routine as always- watering every fourth day at 1.4 litres per watering or 0.35 of a litre per plant per day. I will be increasing the water sometime over week three. That’s it for now. Mom’s Tip for Week #2- Don’t Over Water! (when growing in soil of course)… When learning to read your plant’s needs, water is a very important factor to consider. I often notice other growers with tiny seedlings sitting in completely saturated pots of soil. Or read that many other growers don’t believe in placing newly sprouted seedlings into their final containers/pots. Both issues being easily resolved by simply paying close attention to your plant’s body language, it’s grow environment and sticking to a schedule. Cannabis truly thrives and benefits from a wet to almost fully dry watering cycle. From my own personal experience with photosensitive strains grown outside in the summer to growing autoflowers indoors through the fall, winter and spring- all of my Cannabis seems to do best when watered every 4th day like clockwork! This schedule is somewhat subjective of course depending on the environment that you are growing in. Here in Canada, much of our year is cool to cold and the humidity is relatively low. Because of this my plants are not always able to take in moisture from the air through their stomas so they suck up more water from what’s readily available in their pots. In other environments (ex. tropical), you may be able to stretch out this cycle- watering every 5-7 days because your plants are pulling so much water directly from the humidity in the air. And how you water your plants matters too. When starting out with newly sprouted seedlings placed into their final containers- less is more. There is no need to completely soak all of the soil in a 5-7 gallon pot. Simply start with a small amount (0.5-1 litre) directing the water to the base of the plant, working your way outwards in a circular pattern. As you increase the amount of water, I try to work my water outwards- making my circle slightly bigger each time I water until eventually I am soaking the soil surface all the way out to the edges of the pot. This process is gradual, stretched over a period of 4-6 weeks. It will encourage the roots to reach for water and allow your plants the time needed to grow into a heavy dose of H2O. Finally, learning to read your plant’s body language will help you to understand when they need and don’t need water as well as food, more/less light, temperature changes, etc. Healthy, well watered plants are generally light green with leaves slightly turned up towards the light/sun. They will be growing/thickening every day and able to support their own weight even in a very breezy environment. Leaves are soft and supple, not dry and brittle and there are usually no marks or discolouration of any kind on the foliage throughout your grow. Water quality is important too but that’s any entirely different tutorial for another time. Bountiful harvests are very possible by simply tweaking your watering schedule to suit your plants’ ultimate needs.

New week. Started feeding 2days ago. 2part instead of 3. Managing till i get the last part in. Roughly 2weeks. Currently using. micro and bloom from advanced nutrients. Currently waiting for roots to show under the rockwool then i can move it into the 5gallon bucket.

She was quick and pretty good 👰 I was out of meds and just went as quick as possible 🐇 barely any veg time Another reason that I was quick with her was I wanted to squish her. I bought myself a press for my birthday 🎁 ( Dulytek 1005). I put BOOST packages in the 🏺 hoping she’d get wet and good for squishing. Only smoked 💨💨💨so far. Got my submission for the “ White Ash” competition 💨 Funny thing is I tried several times. Couple times forgot, 1 time issues with 🎥 camera- aww shucks- guess I get to roll another 😀🆒✊🏼

Hey all welcome back to sort of week 12 or week 4 of flower! I have just got home and don’t no what to say...... gold leaf 1 has nanas that seam to have popped and could have wrecked the whole grow 😭 The girls are def hungry as you can see there is some yellowing of the leaves so they will be getting a good feed today and again in 3 days to keep them in the zone. They are stacking up and getting a little fatness to there buds. Frost levels are just starting to kick in and the tent is pungent!! Well the next few days will be spent watching for signs of any of the other plants turning male on us. Fair to say I’m a little gutted about now as I’m about to chop up a gold leaf that will produce over 4oz of dry buds fingers crossed this diary ain’t over

Harvested at the first sign of amber, could have gone longer. I will be running a full tent of these in a few weeks so look out for that grow. Considering these ladies were all five in a 40l pot, I am pretty happy with how they turned out. My intention was to LST them away from each other to give them room, but unfortunately a combination of moving house and lack of space meant that plant didn't happen, so they were certainly restricting each other light. I am really very excited to give them a proper focused grow in the upcoming series. I will add more to this when I fill in the smoke report.

I was a little concerned about her when she first sprouted as her first leaf set had a funky color to them and I feared that she wouldn't survive. But low and behold, when she opened up her leaves they turned a beautiful green and she's been looking healthy ever since! Today I gave her her first water/feed with 20oz of well water with a base ppm of 100, to which was added the following Dutch Pro nutrients: Grow 'A' & 'B' @ 10ml/g, Multi Total @ 7.6 ml/g, Take Root @ 3.8 ml/g, Silica Von Liebig’s Special @ 1.2 ml/g along with Earth Juice's Oily Can @ 5 ml/g. After adding the nutrients I ph'd the solution to 6.1 @ 74℉ 11/10- The Zkittlez is doing really well in her little Popcorn Bucket! I didn't water her today, but will wait until tomorrow to avoid over watering her. 11/12- Yesterday I went ahead and watered/fed the Zkittlez with 20oz of well water with a base ppm of 100, to which was added the following Dutch Pro nutrients: Grow 'A' & 'B' @ 10ml/g, Multi Total @ 7.6 ml/g, Take Root @ 3.8 ml/g, Silica Von Liebig’s Special @ 1.2 ml/g along with Earth Juice's Oily Can @ 5 ml/g. After adding the nutrients I ph'd the solution to 6.0 @ 75℉. The Zkittlez Auto is doing great, has good color, vigor and already has her third leaf set emerging! 11/14- Today when I checked her pot the Zkittlez auto was still pretty moist so I'll be waiting until tomorrow to water/feed her. The Zkittlez Auto is doing fantastic without any visible health issues, has good color and now has her third leaf set almost fully emerged! Well it's been a fun week watching this little girl grow and the coming weeks promise to be more exciting as they pass and she gets her groove on! D34 Defoliation

Once again these girls don’t really need much just watering when dry but other than that we are on cruise mode. I have been checking trichomes for about a week now and man is she almost there I should be giving them lights out with in another week or two can’t wait

Plant is growing well. Transplanted them from a 1 gallon pot into a 3 gallon pot this week.

So these girls have started to explode , they were one of the first ones to get into their new home , so they are LOVING life right now. The goal for this week : Attach all shoots to the tomato cage , - get them ready for flower 🌹🌹🌺!! I'm still working on getting a better set up for pictures, although they aren't in the best spot for pictures they are EXTREMELY happy with they lighting !!! position. Starting out with a soft bend using cotton thread. before bending i gently rubbed the stem between my fingers to soften it up Day 25 - 09/04-2024 - Watered 1,5L - I am really satisfied with my LST work so far and now i regret i did not try this out earlier....
