Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. The weather continues to be hot and humid and the daily watering continues. 7/4- 🎉HAPPY 4th of JULY!🎉 The FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photo has taken the heat like a champ and is transforming into a very LARGE and beautiful lady! She's over 5 feet tall now and is stretching! She has maintained excellent vigor, color and has shown great resistance to pests and other stressors! 7/6- Yesterday we had a thunderstorm pass through early in the day, which provided about an inch of rain in a short time. I went ahead and watered in the afternoon, but only gave the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod approx. 3g of water from the well, via garden hose.🌱🚿. 7/8- The daily watering continues, as does our blistering hot🔥weather. All is well with the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod and today, after watering her with 5g of well water, I gave her a good going over, looking at all the leaves topside and underneath and removing any leaves that were either yellowing or had other issues. Week 3 and they are starting to take off. I used some Recharge by Real Growers. Instant compost soil amendment ingredients. Great stuff.

I'm a few days late on updating this diary as well as feeding my girls (well, just a couple days late on feeding) and the weather is not helping! It's 48F and drizzling out, which is prime conditions for mold production😒 but there's not much I can do about it at the moment. So I did include a video this week to give a better look at the girls (And please ignore me saying Amy aka CBD Gorilla is a late September finisher.. It's actually mid-October, I can't keep anything straight) Jojo is still the runt of the litter, Amy is catching up to her big sisters and Bubba and Ice Cool are still the stars of the show. Nice colas plumping up and soon to be ready👏 I'm excited!

Here we are at the end of the sixth week, friends. I'm starting to feel pessimistic about the challenge of gaining a pound. The buds haven't gained much weight, but we'll see what happens. The indications are 8/9 weeks, so there's still a bit of time.🤞

MAY 20TH - TODAY is the first day the plants wake up from their 18/6 cycle down from 2 weeks at 20/4. They got their first SCHWAZZE and shaping at this stage getting them ready to grow into the beautiful sea of green each of these beds are to become. The uniformity of the clones reminds me how much of this has become muscle memory to me, From doing thousands of plants per grow this has become second nature for me. Day 21 and the girls are really starting to take off.I did some LST on 3 of the 5 so far and will get the other 2 bent over in the next few days. Day 27 I watered with recharge tea and tied down some branches to get some more light into the center of the plants.I have increased the light intensity to 50 percent and slightly lowered the humidity this week.

This week is getting closer but still not close to the size I want pre flower. I turned down the lights and got some fertilizer to see if I can coax them to grow up. I think I've been light shocking them. 12/25 I hiked down the light and got the some fertilizer and you can see the diff in just one day of fertz and less light, more humidity

This week has been time to put on weight!! They are getting so heavy glad put in secondary scrog net. Have only been doing water so plants can just pull what they want our the soil they are starting to fade on their own. They have some amazing kinda blue tent to the buds. They have a gassy sweet smell to them! This will be the last week I feel but still see some clear heads and no amber so shall see over next week!!

10 days of darkness during the flush begins. Had great results with Wanda and her genetics. Blessed for a first grow. Cut Wanda down at the end of the week. She’s now drying. I will be giving a thorough review for my harvest diary. Excited to share what I’ve experienced and learned from this grow.

We’re deep into Week 8, and Blue Banana Cream is stacking up beautifully. Trichomes are looking frosty, covering the buds in a thick, sticky layer—definitely a strain that’s going to shine post-cure. The aroma has intensified compared to earlier weeks, now pushing out a stronger creamy, fruity scent with a slight gas undertone. Every time I open the tent, it hits harder. The buds are swelling up nicely, transitioning from airy to more mid-compact density. Pistils are still mostly white, meaning it’s got a bit more time before it fully ripens. One thing I’ve noticed—the branches are starting to lean from the weight, so some light support might be needed to prevent them from bending too much in the final stretch. I’m keeping temps at 18-20°C and humidity around 55-60% to ensure a proper finish. With harvest around the corner, it’s just about watching those trichomes shift from clear to cloudy/amber and letting this one reach its peak.

I am still not happy with the ‘Blue Dream’, it continues to develop but shows burns on the tips of the leaves. The curled leaves are also a mystery to me! The fertilisation is identical for both plants, the Moby Dick shows none of these symptoms in comparison. Parallel to this grow, I have another plant that also does not show these symptoms when fertilised. We'll see how it continues!

I'm totally happy about this run. First time trying sog and tbh till now seems all good. Any feedback will be appreciated. Thanks and Happy growing

I busted myself up so havent been able to get into the grow much for a couple weeks. They are definitely thirsty and not getting enough water so will water more deeply next time around a gallon per tote a day.
