Aug 31: now done six weeks of flowering. Started force flowering by putting her in the dark garage for 10 h plus two hours of bonus darkness by using a 730 nm far red light at dusk as a bloom booster. After three weeks of moving in and out of garage I’ve just been using the red light at dusk. I use Civil Twilight as listed on dateandtime.com for my location. Civil Twilight is getting earlier by about 3 min per night and will be at 9 pm tonight. Awesome plant should be 2-3 weeks to finish and the weather forecast is perfect for next two weeks. Should be a strong finish, and we’re still in August. Awesome. Sep 1: flowers are huge and progressing quickly. The top buds seemed to change colour a bit today. Overnight temperatures are still above 10 C so no purple colour showing yet. Maybe right at the end in a couple of weeks she’ll show some extra colour. Sep 3: buds are getting big, dense and sticky. Perfect. Sep 4: flash pics are okay if using the 730 nm far red light right after. If you don’t have a red light, don’t take flash pics of your photoperiod plants. Nice big buds are quite hard too. Week 2 I didn't do much in the tent I was actually away from them for 2 weeks and had no problems. With auto pot system, you fill it up and forget about it. Babies are still a little deficient but they'll start to correct themselves in another week or two. I didn't have any footage for this week so I decided to post a video of the 2nd run of rainbow cake. The frost on this strain is unbelievable. Day 77. Forced one, noticed nanners and bud rot. So had to take fast actions !!! Easiest trim jail ever ! ;))) Two down, one left for extra week. Day 82. Last one is down ! Very smelly and hairy ;) Day 85. First two in jars ! Day 89. Last one went for curing. 347 g from 3 plants ! Happy Growing !!!

1.4. - I've returned from the prolonged weekend and was shocked how big the plants got. I've had to do some LST to start spreading the branches. Watered 💧 3.4. - Added some wires to spread the plants. Watered 💧 4.4. - Of course that I've managed to break the main stem on one plant. Again! Thankfully, it was not broken off completely and I've fixed it with wire. Hope she'll recover quickly before start of bloom. 🤞 5.4. - Week wrap-up: Broken plant is not wilting and started to recover ❤️‍

Sat 7/8: - Transplanted a runted Purple Lemonade auto into a small plastic pot (1/2 litre), from 3 gal fabric pot. Put it back in the veg tent where there is more room. It is wasting space in the flowering tent. Suspect over watering early on as issue. - Shifted a Grapefruit auto from the veg tent to the flowering tent to replace the Purple Lemonade. A little early, so it is on a pedestal to reach the canopy. - Planted a Fastberry and a Gorilla Cookie auto. - Harvested 20g wet from the CBD20:1 (8w). Sun 8/8: - Changed light cycle from 18/6 to 20/4. - Fed plants, varying mixture by plant age. CBD20:1 is now only on water at every feed. - Tied main stem down on Grapefruit auto (3w). - Set up endoscope camera to capture the Grapefruit response to LST. - Continued lollipopping Strawberry Pie (5w) and Kosher Cake(4w). Tues 10/8: - both the Gorilla Cookie and the Fastberry seeds popped. I’ve put them under icecream containers in the veg tent so they don’t dry out too quickly. Wed 11/8: - Small targeted watering with no feed. Thurs 12/8: - feed plants that needed to be watered. Sat 14/8: - Harvested the remaining CBD20:1 at 9 weeks, 73g wet - Harvested undersized Lemon Pie at 8 weeks, 26g wet. - Planted a Gelato auto and a Wedding Cheesecake auto from Fast Buds. Hi all! oh yeah baby! burst of color! I can’t stop looking! I really like varieties that change their color. but I haven’t had such experience yet. usually buds change color and not leaves. but this is an exceptional case! I really like it externally. and the smell is just as sweet and delicious as otd! I regret that I did not let her grow more in the growing season. it would make a huge beautiful bush!

D56 - Today is the first day in the eighth week of veg for #2 and the seventh for #1. This will be the final week of veg for the girl as I'm ready to flip in a few days. I did the last heavy defoliation by removing most leaves and branches except the tops. I aim to get the girl to put all the flowering energy into the tops and hopefully result in big colas without popcorn nugs or larf. I did keep a few clones from each girl, though. After defoliation, I sprayed down the girl with my chili tincture to combat the thrips. I took great care to hit all leaves on both sides. This tincture is harsh to work with, and I was coughing like mad, and I damn near filled my N95 mask with snot (yummy!). After all this snot, drool and coughing, I just wanted to be done for the day, so I stressed checking out how my new scrog frame fits. The frame, of course, fell and broke one of the tops clean off. Ugh! I tried to fix it with some tape but the break was in a weird spot and it didn't work. Not a massive deal as it was a corner top, and there will be 15 other tops. Still annoying, but hey, it's my damn fault for stressing. D57 - The girls have bounced back nicely from their heavy defoliation. I just snapped a couple of pics as I hung a blue sticky trap in the tent. I always have regular yellow sticky traps in my tent to monitor pest pressure. However, thrips aren't that interested in yellow but are attracted to blue. D59 - I flipped my lights today from the veg mode to the flower-inducing mode. I have no idea how much these girls will stretch, so better sooner than later. Also, I finally got around to start training one of the tops toward the middle of each girl. (About damn time!) I've thought about it for quite a while but have been ignoring it. The lights are flipped now, so we are almost out of veg time. Now or never! D62 - The girls look healthy, and I can't see any thrip damage on the newer leaves. Fingers crossed that the buggers are gone! I gave each girl around 2.5-liters of water @ pH 6.3.

First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps.
