I was using a very cheap light at this stage which was averaging 80 ppfd which was crap. I was feeding tap water leaving it for 24 hours. At that time I was feeding them bottled water with 7.5 ph water 2 off them are bag seeds so I don’t know the gender

BONUM CULTURA!

Week 4: Pre-Flower - The Hunger Games Begin! 🌱➡️🌸 Currently bumping: Larry June - Organic Tokens 🎵 All three ladies have officially hit pre-flower! The transition is happening, and these girls are making it crystal clear—they're HUNGRY. Time to step up the organic feeding game. All Three Ladies - Pre-Flower Mode Activated Apple Fritter, Lemon Cherry (Right), and Lemon Cherry (Left) are all showing those telltale pre-flower signs—pistils popping, internodal stretch beginning, and most importantly, an increased appetite that plain water just isn't satisfying anymore. Last Week's Feeding: Roots Organic Veg Tea Ratio: 1 tbsp per gallon mixture Applied as a soil drench to boost available nutrients The Reality Check: It helped, but it's not enough. They're telling me loud and clear that they need MORE as they prepare for the energy-intensive flowering phase. The Organic Solution - Double Trouble Top Dress Time to bring in the big guns! Preparing for flower means giving these girls a nutrient-rich foundation they can pull from over the coming weeks. Upcoming Top Dress Mix: Half-strength Roots Organic Terp Tea (bloom-focused formula) Gaia Green All Purpose (balanced NPK for transition support) This combo gives them: Immediate microbial activity from the Terp Tea Slow-release nutrition from Gaia Green Support for both the vegetative finish AND early flower development Enhanced terpene production (that's what we're here for!) Application plan: Light top dress on the soil surface, then water in gently. The microbes will get to work breaking everything down, making nutrients available exactly when the plants need them. Why This Approach Works Pre-flower is the PERFECT time to top dress: Plants are entering their hungriest phase Organic amendments take time to break down—starting now means nutrients are available when flower really kicks in The transition from veg to bloom nutrients happens naturally as different microbes activate Less risk of overfeeding compared to liquid synthetic nutes Key Observations These girls went from "we're good" to "FEED US" seemingly overnight. That's pre-flower for you—the metabolic shift is real. The stretch is beginning, which means they're pulling hard on nitrogen, phosphorus, AND potassium. The Gaia All Purpose will cover the NPK bases while Terp Tea brings the micronutrients and beneficial biology. Larry June voice: "Organic garden, hand-crafted nutrients, you feel me?" 🎶 Next Week's Plan Apply the Roots Terp Tea + Gaia Green top dress Water thoroughly to activate the amendments Monitor how quickly they respond to the feeding Watch the stretch—may need to start LST or support stakes soon Keep the music bumping and the vibes organic ✌️ Pre-flower is when the magic really starts happening. Let's give these ladies everything they need to absolutely THRIVE! 🔥🌿 Good soil + hungry plants + organic amendments = the recipe for terpy, flavorful flowers. Let's get it! 🎵

Day 69 (March 6th) Just gave everyone their last watering. I’m going to harvest and wash everything tomorrow night on day 70. I‘m not going to do that whole 48 hours of darkness thing because I didn’t see a difference last time I did it. In fact, it made my plant under watered before drying which caused it to dry too fast. Slurricane and cheese will be washed with h2o2 and the rest will just be rinsed off in warm RO water and hung up. Before and after washing I’m going to go over each branch with a flashlight and make sure there is no dog hair or debris in or on the buds. I will be drying in my spare bathroom (that no one uses!) from hangers. Aiming to keep it around 60-62F and 50-60 RH. Hoping for that 10-12 day dry. I wanted to do a full plant hang but the tent got pretty dirty and I would feel more comfortable just cutting and rinsing everything off branch by branch. I’m going to try my best to keep the full plant intact. Got my humidifier hooked up and running RO water because with tap water it deposits calcium and lime all over the buds and walls. For air flow I’m just indirectly running a small usb fan. I’m not worried about air flow in the bathroom honestly. It stays nice and breezy down there anyway. Got the food grade peroxide and RO water to wash up the slurricane and cheese. Everything except for the cheese and garlic#1 is looking more than done. Trichomes all look pretty well done. Some of them have even burst open. Smells are all super ripe and mature too. Can’t wait to smell each individually in jars. Next week I will recap what went wrong and what I will do differently next time to keep it from happening again. (Day 70F) Just got everything chopped, washed and hanging. The vast majority of the PM was washed out but I can still see very small amounts. When they dry out I can shake the branches a bit to get the rest off. At very least it’s sterile now. There is no question I lost some potency while washing but the amount is negligible for a much cleaner product. I could see lots of dirt and other debris float to the surface of the water after being washed. And no those are not trichomes, those sink to the bottom. I could put that nasty water through a bubble bag and wouldn’t get all that much. Although it probably does remove a lot of the actual trichomes heads. I’ll have to check with the microscope. Everything is rigged up for a nice slow dry. Temp is sitting at 64 and RH is at a nice 60%.

My Lit Marker plant is finally starting to take off! It's still on the smaller side, but it's showing some really promising growth. The nodes are nice and tight, so it looks like it's going to stack up beautifully. I'm excited to see how this one develops – it's definitely a late bloomer, but I've got a good feeling about it! This past week has been a whirlwind of work, leaving little time for anything else. My phone's camera roll is sadly neglected, with only a few snapshots to show for it. But finally, I'm finding a moment to catch up on my grow diaries. It's been exciting to see the progress, even if it's just through photos. I'm looking forward to documenting the next stage!
