Day 29 29/07/24 Monday Nice feeding today with De-chlorinated tap water pH 6. Gave her 300 ml and she had a small run off. Getting chunky in the stem now 💪💚 Day 31 31/07/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated water pH 6 today with Plagron pk13-14 5ml to 5L Plagron power buds 5ml to 5L Used 300ml of the 5L solution. I will be using these on water days from now on as they are advised to be used every irrigation. We'll see how they perform 💪💚 Day 32 01/08/24 Thursday Another feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6, there now taking 300ml every evening. Day 35 04/08/24 Sunday END OF WEEK 😁 De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 today with Plagron products. 300ml each. Had a issue with leaf invaders this week, I have treated and am checking every 48 hrs so far seems ok and not progressive. All plants look great, very healthy, one of the Overdose is way behind and due to space maybe culled at flower I'll see how she gets on.

She really drinks a lot less than the weeks before.. I guess she's almost ready now :) *.* can't wait... She smells super strong really sweet... She's covered with raisin and starts to get brownish trychomes. I still give her only water - no more nutrients...

How did you create/breed Freakshow? A. Methodical selection, line breeding, and culling is the short answer. Read our About page for more details. Q. Is it an indoor or outdoor type? A. Everything I've ever worked has been outdoors, including of course Freakshow. It has been our experience that outdoor (or sun grown, as it's recently being referred to) cultivars seem to perform extremely well under artificial conditions. This is true of seed starts or clones made from seed starts. The opposite is not always true; indoor clones often give an outdoor grower headaches because they don't always make the transition smoothly. This is due to light spectrum, temperature, and/or photoperiod changes. The different parallel lines that we are developing can be directed in a few different pathways flavorwise. Q. Why are the seeds white? A. Why is the sky blue? No, the mature seeds are shrouded by a rice paper thin membrane which has coloring and mottling on it, but it's so fragile that it disintegrates in the process of shucking. The exact heritage of any cultivar today is impossible to determine accurately. Also, considering the amount of continuous shameless hybridization that has occurred in the last 40 yrs., any modern kind could easily contain over 40 kinds. In the case of Freakshow, it's much more limited because the ancestry is largely older "Sativas" that didn't go through as much outcrossing. In the 70s in Santa Cruz, Haze was a favorite among surfers for the pure energy and I still have (greatly improved) stock of it around, simply because even when I made hybrids with it I always kept the original in pure form for obvious reasons. Q. What is the psychoactive effect like? A. Like the flavors, many people have commented that the "buzz" is somewhat different than other mainstream types out there. It's not entirely out of the scope of imagination that given that this strain has new alleles in so many other respects, that it could also contain new, unique cannabinoids, as well as new and unique terpenoids, some of which may not even be among the standard 16 or so that the average lab is testing for. Aside from the up, cerebral, energetic boost, some report a mild time/space warp effect. Creativity and idea induction should be mentioned, for sure. Freakshow has the pure energy effect and greatly alters perception to the positive side, so definitely destroys depression. Appetite suppression is a side effect, but the enjoyment of food is enhanced. I personally will attest to all of the above. We all have different receptor profiles, so these are just generalizations. Couch unlock. Q. Is it pest and mildew resistant? A. Indeed it is. On many occasions in the last few years, it has been observed that when pest and mildew issues were affecting other plants adjacent to in the vicinity of Freakshow plants, for unknown reasons the freaks remained entirely unaffected. This includes 0botritis, PM, various mites and insects, soil fungus, etc. We haven't heard any complaints along those lines so far, so if anyone has any problems, especially with a rigorous IPM regimen in place, we would like to hear about it. And if anyone can attest to the extreme level of resistance it seems to have we'd love to hear about that as well. Q. Does it contain web-leaf genetics? A. I thought I better clarify this because there are a few people thinking that because of an article "Growing Marijuana that Doesn't look like Marijuana" that mentions that I had worked web-leaf types years ago and had eventually turned that into Freakshow. This is incorrect and I'm needing to get ahold of the writer to have him change it. When I read the piece and saw the mistake I figured it didn't matter that much, that the actual method of breeding could just remain a "trade secret". Recently, I noticed online that a posting, "Freakshow only exists because of duckfoot" by Curious Cannabis Connoisseur, where he explains how I developed Freakshow using Duckfoot. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. I won't go on a rant here about the rampant crossing and the lack of line-breeding in the cannabis world in the last several decades, or where this will eventually lead us, but I will say that it's not in a good direction. Bottom line....Freakshow has no web-leaf genes, it was made using top-grade tropical narrow-leaf drug (NLD) cultivars. Q.Why is Freakshow patented? A. Although I and most others (including all the folks at HSC) believe in and subscribe to the concept of "open sourcing" because sharing in cannabis genetics was always the cultural norm, it was decided that Freakshow should be protected (1) because it is a novel and unique, not a preexisting strain (or even subspecies), (2) To keep the greedy corporate big boys from exploiting it, (3) To maintain control of the genetic refinement of it in all future generations. AM3 was a bit of a leaf monster, but it was a smaller plant that finished after just 7 weeks of flower. AM2 brought the beef and is stacked top-to-bottom. Have some minty aroma at harvest, but we'll see how that progresses as it dries and cures. AM3 is already in the curing bucket and still has some mintiness. Being a smaller batch of buds, it was dry after 9+ days. Definitely a variety that benefits from a few weeks of curing. Still had a little grassy smell on AM3 as it entered cure. I expect these to be good smoke.

11/07/20 Was gifted a (It's MENDO DOPE) She has been sexed but not sure what pheno, but they're all good. Going to veg for a week then flip to 12-12. Ps. Took some clones for saving this is some crazy terpy shit!😍 Clones are on 12-12 schedule, in my experience they will root faster this way. This girl is potted in big roots soil and its time to pot up and flower.She is in florecent light tent for one more week than to LED to finish her off under11-14 schedule. Ps. Clones are looking happier than first pic 5 days ago.

Hola a todos y perdon por la demora en subir la actualización. Esta semana regamos como la semana pasada 2ml de oro negro de namaste y 3ml x l de amazonia roots, la planta va creciendo bien, esta semana también hemos quitado algunas hojas, próximamente le pondré una malla asi no crece tanto en alto.

die buds schwellen an und ab jetzt gibt es keinen dünger mehr. ich hatte diese woche mal leicht gespült sodass ich ca 1 l drain hatte. der ec lag bei 2.0 ca.. werde kommende woche nochmal leicht spülen und wieder messen. zurzeit faden die oberen blätter aber die unteren sind mir etwas zu grün. habe noch 1.5 bis 2 wochen bis ich ernte. denke bis dahin wird das grün verschwinden. bin bis jetzt zufrieden und hoffe das die rlf sich senkt, denn es hat viel geregnet in der vergangenen woche und im zelt hatte ich gestern mittag 63% rlf😐. ist aber bis zum abend auf 52 %runter.. heute hab ich 48% rlf im zelt. die super boof und rainbow melon halte ich mir als mutti's 😁

Weather was quite good this week, a bit of sun and the temperatures were not too high. The buds are full of trichomes 😎

Hoy después de 10 días sin colgar nada las plantas presentan un ptipo de carencia debido al suelo debíl de inicio. Trasplantados a tiestos de tela reforzando el mantillo. En estos días he dejado un plazo más largo antes de volver a preparar el te de compost. Hoy recibirán su riego de té y esta mañana han sido rociadas.. La verdad que el efecto de positivo de rociar las plantas de buena mañana las deja bien tiesas y vigorosas. Antes de este riego recibió una tirada de agua sola y la siguiente fue de SST basado en brotes de soja germinados un técnica que aporta muchas vitaminas y enzimas a las plantas. El compost tea de esta semana le he agregado : Tierra de cultivo 100g Hummus de lombriz 200g Guano de murciélago 80g Cola de caballo 2.5g Spirulina 7g Hidrolizado de kelp 20g Ácidos fulvico 2ml Melaza 76ml Mezcla para 15 litros. A ver como le sienta.. Me siguen recomendando que le de algún aporte con productos pero sigo buscando el modo de hacerlo por mi mismo.. Si alguien cultiva así a base de tea estaría interesado en compartir conocimientos

Wow another one that's jumped 3" inches. This is the first grow of the very first strain I've ever created. I'm excited to say the least. Hopefully it's a female and we'll see how the flower turns out. If it's a male I'll have extra pollen for future seeds & breeding.

Buds are fattening up nicely. Red hairs are starting to come in on some of the buds. Overall, looking very frosty and healthy. It's a little mind blowing that this grow - which seemed so slow to start has gone into overdrive.

Week 3 Flower | GMO × Triangle Mints BX Week 10 overall, and this is what happy plants look like. Every top praying straight to the light — the result of a perfectly orchestrated combination of dialled VPD, correct nutrition, and a canopy that’s been managed with intention from day one. The defoliation work is largely done. A few leaves here and there will continue to come off all the way through flower as needed, but the heavy lifting is behind us. The canopy is open, the bud sites are getting what they need, and the structure is exactly where it should be at this stage. Far red has been stepped up to 30 minutes after lights out, and UV is now running 2 hours mid lights-on cycle — pushing resin production and terpene development early. The combination of far red and UV at this stage is deliberate and calculated. Plants have stretched to 100cm, lamp now sitting at 40cm distance — closing in as the canopy fills. Watering up to 3.3L per plant per 24h, the ladies are drinking properly now. pH steady at 6.2, EC holding at 1.8 mS/cm. Humidity at 68%, day temp 27°C, nights 23°C. The humidifier has been removed this week — the biomass is now transpiring enough on its own to keep humidity exactly where it needs to be. The room is running itself. Nutrient stack has made the full transition to flower: Canna CalMag Agent 1.1 ml/l, Aptus Regulator 0.1 ml/l, Green Planet Rezin bumped to 1 ml/l, CANNA Aqua Flores A+B at 4.58 ml/l each, and CANNA PK 13/14 introduced at 0.25 ml/l — which will be gradually increased to 0.75 ml/l over the coming weeks, catering to the ever increasing demand as the ladies push deeper into flower. Feed rotation stays the same — two full feeds, third is 50/50 osmosis and tap, pH’d, carrying only CalMag.
