Grow Diary — Week 30: Durban Poison Outdoor Grow Journal • Eastern Colorado • October 2026 Week 30 Update, day 209— Patience for the Final Harvest The Durban Poison plants have reached Week 30, and I'm taking a patient approach with their final harvest. Unlike the other two plants, which I harvested earlier, I'm intentionally letting these Durban Poison plants go longer in hopes of achieving a more relaxing, indica-like feel from the finished flower. Durban Poison is traditionally known for its uplifting, energetic, sativa-dominant effects. My goal with this later harvest is to see whether allowing the flowers to mature further changes the character of the experience. This season has also been a learning experience. The buds have turned out airier than I wanted, with less aroma and resin development than I'd hoped for. Those results will help guide my plans for next season, particularly my focus on improving root-zone oxygenation, drainage, and overall growing-medium structure. What I'm watching this week: * Flower maturity: Observing the flowers closely as they approach their final harvest. * Trichomes: Looking at resin glands for changes in clarity, cloudiness, and amber coloration. * Aroma and resin: Noting any further development before harvest. * Weather: Keeping a close eye on Eastern Colorado's cooler autumn temperatures and frost risk. Harvest strategy: These Durban Poison plants are being harvested later than the other two plants to explore whether additional maturity produces a more relaxing effect. One important note for the journal: a later harvest may change the balance of cannabinoids and the subjective effects, but it does not reliably turn a sativa-dominant cultivar into an indica-like one. I'll treat the final experience as something to evaluate rather than a guaranteed result. Week 30 takeaway: This is the final patience test of the season. I'm giving the Durban Poison plants additional time, watching their maturity and the weather, and documenting the results so I can make better decisions for next year's grow.

Se deja secar el sustrato, ya se aprecian unas colas gordas llenas de flores y resina, tricomas ámbar comienzan a verse, estamos prontos a la cosecha, quizás por el día 60-70. -Día 53. Se riega con 3 litros de una solución nutritiva NPK de Plagron Alga Bloom (6 ml) Plagron Sugar Royal (1.5 ml) y Plagron Green Sensation (1.5 ml). A los aromas dulces y diesel, se le suma un fuerte olor picante y terroso, cada vez un aroma mas complejo. -Día 54. El engorde de flores no para 💪 -Día 55. Se riega con una solución nutritiva NPK de 3 Litros con Plagron Alga Bloom (6 ml), Plagron Sugar Royal (1.5 ml) y Plagron Green Sensation (1.5 ml). -Día 56. Ultima semana con riego NPK, de ahora en adelante se regara con agua + enzimas . 🚀Equipamiento🚀 Indoor de 60x60x159 cm y una iluminación BlackCob F320, se activa solo 1 modulo (160w) a 45 cm del canopy por el resto del cultivo. Intractor de 135mm, extractor de 135mm, filtro de carbón, ventilador "oscilofan", ventilador "clip fan", este ultimo ventilador se ajusta en la parte baja de la carpa para mejorar la circulación de aire bajo el canopy, 2 termohigrometros y una malla SCROG de kanovi a 15 cm de la maceta. Hello, this week and the next ones will be peaceful. It's +-34 days of the girls' life. About 30 more days and we'll switch to flowering. The smell is delicious. I hope that the girls will also give me lush buds. Due to the use of new plant cultivation techniques, I have small concerns about growth, but I hope that my technique will work and I will base on it. (34 days of feminized seeds and the stem at the base has a circumference of 4.5 cm 😁. I should also start fertilization now, but it's already over. Ich habe hilfreiche Pflanzen rund um mein beet gepflanzt Lavendel, kerbel, marigold und basilicum.

Day 14 of flower and all 4 plants have stretched over a foot in the last week. Should start putting all of their energy into flowering now. Looking really good so far. Really, really good.

Die Panama Red 💃 sind unglaubliche Nährstoff-Zehrer - 4Liter NL alle 3 Tage 😮😃🌿 Licht und Temperatur sind gleich geblieben! In diesem Sinne Let IT grow 🌱 🌿 💚

Good week. Careful on the nutrients, have some burn starting. Same nutrients dose as my other Autoflowers but doesn't react the same. Buds starting.

i should had defoliated plant 2 (one on left) a lot more in earlier stages, a lot of the canopy is leaf that is blocking airflow and light there is a video there which you need to flick through the pictures to see it
