Start of week 9 Runtz Muffin got the cut this morning. Put the whole plant to hang dry, i just removed some of the bigger leaves, since plant grew really compact. Drying now for the first 3 days at 56% and 17C, after that 60% and 16C, for at least 8 days. Overall i was really pleased with this strain, Barneys did a great job and you can see their genetics are strong. I will give a weight, taste and smoke update/review once they dry up and got the trim. 10/10 recommended strain!

Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. Básicamente elegí la Grandpa's Stach R2 y la Grandpa's Cookies #6 S1 solo por sus tiempos de floración, espero que sean buenas tanto de sabor y resina, cómo también de producción. G1, brotaron las semillas, solo 1 semilla brotó chueca, por lo que tuve que ayudarla con un alambre y va un poco atrasada en comparación del resto. G3, primer riego con pH 6.1 y EC 0.6, y micorrizas Great White. G5, creciendo bien. G11, riegos cada 2 o 3 días, a punto de pasar a etapa vegetativa.

Trouble in Paradise! Both experiencing all kinds of trouble. BUT theyre growing and swelling! I put the blame solely on me, i overwatered in the early weeks and really havent had much time to take care of them in time. Also started flowering nutes way too late. Im happy with both of their forms though! small and bushy, thats how i like them. Sad that the deficiencies had to happen, but oh well, theyre gonna pull through i hope! i downed water to 2L from 2.5L just because it takes really low for them to dry out in between and i wanna get fresh batches of nutes in more often. 2L is also enough to get a tiny bit of runoff so no dry spots or anything. Will see how they like it! due to deficiencies, i skipped giving them 2ml/L of bloom and went straight to 3, also added a good dose of calmag. Didnt defoliate besides really effed-up leaves. So Woche 6is angelaufen und ich entschuldige mich schon mal in Woche 5 nichts an Bildern hochgeladen zu haben. Hab jetzt die 2 hinteren Sapphire scout zum 2ten mal getoppt die vordere davon nur 1x bei den rqs zz is bis jetzt nur die hintere 1x getoppt und die beiden vorderen noch garnicht hoffe die beiden kann ich wenigstens einmal toppen die machen mir echt Sorgen vorallem die am Anfang stehende zz is recht krüppelig ich denke mal das die wurzeln nicht richtig durch die jiffies kommen (netzt nicht AUFGELÖST) würde in Zukunft die scheiss Dinger weg lassen und mir kleine durchsichtige getränkeflaschen zerschneiden um daraus anzuchtopfe zu machen dann fällt das netz weg und es gibt wohl weniger Sorgen nächste Woche lass ich mein scrog netzt drauf um das ganze zu begrenzen und hoffe das dann die rqs samen noch aufholen können

7/27/2023- Prep Tent and system are cleaned and ready to go from my last grow. I have submitted my Journa for the Diary of the Month Competition here is to hopeing for good resutls. 7/28/2023- Germination Day 0- Seed initiation Well lets get this new Grow started.. So My Dad Sent me a custom Strain that he wanted me to grow out and Breed for him. The Strain is Called Red Rhino: Red Rhino is an amazing strain coming from Israel and boasts a 60% Sativa and a 40% Indica. This strian comes from crossing double gum and master kush. Effects are an increased appetite, as well as giving you ephoric feelings throughout the whole day. RO Water Used Added Hydrogen Peroxided 8/1/2023- Germination Achieved G-Day 1 Popped her head above the root riot today to say hello.. Woot first challenge when dealing with an unknown seed and a new Strain is getting the seed to pop and the lady to show life. 8/2/2023- Germination Day 2 Took the root riot out today and it was soaked not good plant drowing again. I am still having a hard time finding the right blance for where the water should be to keep the root riot moist and not soaked. I had to drain some of the water out of the root riot plug to help give a little oxygen. I also removed some of the water. 8/3/2023- Germination Day 3 Looking good stretching her leaves out to let in the lights 8/4/2023- Germination Day 4 Looking good a few days until I put them into the RDWC System and get this thing rocking and rolling. 8/5/2023- Germinaiton Day 5 Looking good will probably plant tomorrow if the roots are still looking good. 8/6/2023- Plant Day- Germination Day 6 Planted into the RDWC System today. Joy when they go into the system as long as we dial that in right this will now be a great grow.. Survived the hard part.. 8/7/2023- Germination Day 7 Fell over today I am worried.., she is showing some damage on the lower leaves from the over watering in the cloning machine but right now I don't see any new damage. Supported the Stems with little improvised pole to help her stand up. 8/8/2023- Germination Day 8 Added the first Nutes today, to help support root growth and to help give there first jump to growth.
