Week 4 day 1: Happy 4th! 7/4/25

Week 7 for the gorilla cookies from fastbuds 420!!! We gave the last week of xpert nutrients feeding and will continue now with only water, harvest time is soon and at the moment the buds are looking great, nice smell in the tent and the buds are nice and covered in trichomes! The plants are not that big but of course i have quite some plants together in the tent and 7 liter pots so they stayed a little smaller, next time i will do maybe less plants but with the bigger 420 fastbuds airpots!

Totally recovered from the topping last week, they are expanding a lot so im guiding them thru the net, i do notice a small deficiency of some nutrients, but of course as GHSC indicates in the package the food is for 8 weeks, so totally agree with their calculation, if everything goes alright im planning to turn them to flower in 2 weeks more or less, i still need during this week to remove all the lower branches and leaves which adds some stress and require again some recovering before switching to flower 🤗😁

Day 24 Second topping🤕🤒

On day 1 the reservoirs PH is 6.3. The rez is 483 ppm. The girls are looking good and nitrogen toxicity seems to have stopped. On day 2 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.1 to 6.3. The rez is 477 ppm. Trichomes seem to be 10% cloudy so I still have a bit to go i'm thinking 9 weeks should be a good bet! On day 3 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.4 to 6.1. The rez is 500 ppm. On day 4 the reservoirs PH is 6.2. The rez is 503 ppm. I lowered the ppfd so my tallest received 900 ppfd and an average of 543 ppfd. On day 5 the reservoirs PH is 6.2. The rez is 519 ppm. I removed some of the extra fan leaves blocking bud sites. On day 6 I changed out the reservoir with only tap water and adjusted the PH from 6.7 to 6.1 with a ppm of 249. The trichomes are maturing and I plan on harvesting on week 8 day 4 of flower. On day 7 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.5 to 6.0. The rez ppm is 250.

This is definitely an express strain. These girls are growing rapidly and seem very good for new growers based on their resilience. They are Very forgiving plants but hard to grow with other strains due to differing growth rates. I topped these once and have been doing some lst to try to let the kabul express catch up but it seems my efforts are of no use. 🤷‍♂️🏽🌿

Another week has passed and this lady seems to have recovered from last week's sudden problems. I just kept feeding with clear water, I suspect low PH and my solution fixed it. I also raised the light a little more, this SP 3000 is a true beast of a light, and especially the Kush in the middle couldn't handle it that well. Thank you @MarsHydroLED I did some final defoliating, only bundled up leaves and leaves covering major bud sites. This Orange Hill Special is something else though, Im happy to grow this, she is pretty and sophisticated in all, almost majestic. The buds are speckled with orange hairs, the shape of each like a round ball of ice cream. She was pretty from seedling on and looking back, I would have loved some offspring of this pheno. She is a thrill and no signs of male parts on this one, although it can happen with this strain. So glad I have some more seeds and cant wait to put a tentful of this. Don't let its low score dissuade you, yes there is a chance she hermies but when she doesn't my my my... Check em out here @DutchPassion_Official She smells of orange and tangerine with a very strong hazy undertone. This combination promises a great smoke and frankly, I cant wait. From indoor to outdoor :)

Started the good and hot season with an adjustment refilling of soil the pot of the little one and giving more to the other two. Incredible grow in two weeks going from being near dead to being big as the other two.

Hello growers day 8 with the hulkberry auto she’s doing very well no signs of problems at the mo she seems fine with me new light just keeping her wet waiting for her to grow abit the other 4 plants are also doing well iv got them in 6.5L pots so see if there’s any difference I messed up my diary and posted on wrong 1 my until next week be safe and happy growing ✌️

What can I say! It’s a winner! More to follow on the smoke test and dry weight next week
