ok so everything has gone fantastic , no nutrient burns at all , and have been slowly creeping up the base nutrients , i have stopped the cal mag and now adding house and gardens bud XL at full strength these girls are now in full swing of flower the Cal mag has made absolutely no difference too the yellow colour of this blackberry so I suspect it is just how this strain is as meany diary's on here of the same strain are also on the yellow side , but it's certainly not affecting the speed of the growth of her , i also bought a new ph stick this week , i have found when PHing the feed bucket that its best too have air stones in the bucket , add all nuts and then ph but do not use the feed that day as if you check the next day the ph is off again so i left it 24 hours after i add more ph down , and it seems too make the measurements alot easier and stable , i have bent down the main stems " without damaging them onto my netting too A keep the canopy all the same high so my lighting is covering all plants at the same distance and also it allowed the side stems too reach up too , i also was sponsored another new led light by kingbo this week so have added another 600watt led too the grow , so now have two 600's and one 900watt , and temps are still fine sitting at 24c lights on and 19-20 off , so am pleased with that , I accidentally bend the main stem last week while I was putting them under the netting too try and control the stretch , luckily it did not crack or snap the branch at all and she didn't droop on that branch at all and has healed already , it may or may not be related but as soon as it happened the side branches thickened up too the thickness of the main stem , this plant has over taken the rest in size even being a full week too 15 days younger , it's certainly not ideal but it really does not appear too have slowed down the growth and may well go in my favour , this lady really did stretch out from week 4 into 5 and is showing no sign of slowing down , her side branches are very thick almost as thick as the main stem , her leaf production was minimal and I have only had too remove very few too expose the bud sites , the yellowing seems too be recovering now and most of the plant is green now , Update , Now gone a lush green colour instead of that horrible yellow , and the buds have already started too purple , she has also stepped up a gear with her nutrient intake almost drinking 6 pints since Thursday , She seems too have slowed down on the stretch and has so meany bud site scattered all over her with as the diary name suggests black roses everywhere , and note too any seed banks reading this if there is not a purple stain out there already called black rose now is your chance lol and Iwant a sample pack first kinda like the tester :) Now defoliation , as you can see they really didn't seem too mind at all being stripped and within a couple of days they had all replenished the lost leaves and even this week olive had to pull the odd few off as they have grown out , Method , well all info now is simple , Anything I cannot tuck under something that is blocking a bid site with shade I remove too middle or bottom , Everything else stays , I just stand above the plant and pull off anything covering the sites , it's really as simple as that , I see some strip them until there is nothing left on but a few sugar leaves , but for me didn't like the look of the plants , for me the growing process is just as much fun as the fruits ,

Day 43 - First day of week 7 today and she looks really good just not sure if she’s really starting to flower yet. I’m hoping this is just typical of the GC strain. Day 44 - No major changes, she’s growing and I’m loving the looks of her. Will continue uploading daily pictures. Day 45 - She’s looking really good and budding more and more each day. Gave her straight pH’d water today and tomorrow and will give her another feeding on Saturday. She’s drinking almost a gallon of water a day. Day 46 - Things are looking good with this girl. Bud sites are growing daily and this thing is a beauty. Gave her another feeding of just pH’d water and will “feed” her tomorrow. Day 47 - ALL is looking good and she’s looking purdy. Gave her a feeding with the foxfarm nutes today. Did a true measurement to the biggest branch and she’s at 25.5”. Will continue to measure each day to see how much she’s growing in a 24 hour period. Day 48 - Looking gorgeous and still stretching. Grew another two inches and is sitting at 27.5” right now. She’s really starting to fill in now and looking forward to the next few weeks. Day 49 - The way thing thing is growing, she’s gonna be a beast. Gave her straight pH’d water tonight and will give her a feeding tomorrow. Looks like she finally stopped stretching, sitting at 27.5” still so hopefully she’ll start putting on the weight.

Flowering day 34 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The buds have developed incredibly nicely this week. The smell is getting more and more extreme :-) . The growth has slowly stopped as the full energy goes into the production of the buds. Watering was done twice this week, each time with 1.2 l (nutrients see table above) They were individually inspected and checked for their health. Osmosis water for the coming week was refilled in a 100 l tank 👍. I have the AirCube system set to 'Automatic Feed' now with two feeds per day for 15min. each. I'm checking the reservoir PH and EC before each feed as I'm still getting a PH climb due to the large air stone I have in the reservoir, and I want to keep my ppm's in the 600-700 range. So far, so good with the increase of nutrients. It looks like they are all beginning to get their color back, albeit slowly. 10/17- The Tropicana Cookies continue to be fed twice daily at 7am and 9pm, which works out to three hours AFTER lights on and six hours BEFORE lights off. So far this is working well with the medium having ample time to drain between feedings. I can see a noticeable difference in their color now, especially in the #1 plant. The #2 plant has a pair of lower leaves that are pretty damaged and I'll do a 'surgical' removal of them soon. the #3 is looking the best of the group, but the other two are on the rebound now. I'll have to wait and see how much this problem affects the plants growth and flowering and hope for the best! 10/19- I've got the AirCube system dialed in now and my little ladies have made a dramatic comeback! I've upped the nutrients to 650ppm's and am running the PH at 6.0-6.2 @ 74℉. Tent temperatures are running 73/80℉ during lights off/on, RH is being maintained @ 65%, and co2 levels at 1150-1300ppm's. I upped the output of the HLG 650R to 65% via a TrolMaster Hydro-X Controller, and have it hung 28" above the plants. Today, I drained and cleaned the reservoir and 'brain bucket', then refilled the system with 60L of well water to which added the following: 100ml each of Plagron Cocos 'A' & 'B', 30ml of Plagron Power Roots and 45ml of Botanicare CalMag+, and 3 tbsp. of Plantonics Amino Bliss amino acids for a final level of 650ppm's. I then checked the ph and adjusted to 6.0 @ 74℉. I have also set the GrowAce AirCube system to 'Auto' mode and have it set for three 15min feedings a day, six hours apart, beginning two hours after 'lights on'. 10/21- There goes three weeks from seed on the books! All three Tropicana Cookies are looking really good now with great color and vigor, and I'm primarily concentrating on maintaining a consistent environment in the 4x4. The three times a day feeding schedule with Plagron nutrients ( Cocos A & B, Power Roots) continues @ 650ppm. I am also checking the reservoir before each to monitor and adjust the PH and nutrients when needed. I have noticed that after each feed the reservoir PH climbs 0.9of a point to 7.0, so I have been adding 30ml of Safer Grow PH Down which brings the PH down to 6.1. 💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Bloom Week 10 - It's a wrap. About to enjoy another Oaxaca Old Fashioned to celebrate. Yeah - I'm into mixology too. These are the frostiest buds I've ever grown. I'm looking forward to harvest. Something tells me I won't be disappointed. Regardless, I'll be honest with the results.
