Week of 9/12 The plants responded well to the Down to Earth dry nutrients I top dressed with the week before, but I wanted them to get some more sugar so I switched back to my previous nute regimen with molasses. Problem Child is finally getting in the swing of flowering. A lot more pistils making their way out so hopefully this train will keep rolling so we can get her finished before Thanksgiving😅 Good Girl has a very strong Pine scent, so should be good for reducing inflammation, pain relief and relaxation. Otherwise I think everything is covered in the video. Clearly I was not able to update after I took the photos and video, my migraine decided to kick it up a notch with the kaleidoscope aura so I had to go hide in the dark.

Patience my friends, patience. At the point monitoring my plants closely for caterpillars or any insect that will effect this stage of flowering.

I also did a Trichome check today things are moving along nicely. 6/7/2023 Week 9- Day 2 of Flower (Day 125 overall) I admit it I couldn't help it there were some blatant offender leaves blocking the light from some of the canopy buds so they had to go..... and when I took them I found a few more in between leaves that had to go.. so long story short some defoliation did happen.. :-) 6/8/2023 Week 9- Day 3 of Flower (Day 126 overall) Auto pilot re-engaged.. I sat back took some photos and just enjoyed how beautiful this light side and dark side thing the plants are doing The buds are almost as long as my Sharpie. Hello growers, Welcome back for another update on the Pineapple Upside Down from Humboldt, now entering week 12 of vegetative growth. This week was mostly about observation and stabilization rather than major interventions. The plant is now fully settled in the second tent. The goal of moving her there was mainly to give her more space and better environmental control. The larger space should provide improved airflow and a more stable climate overall. After the fairly heavy pruning and defoliation that was done previously, the plant appears to be recovering slowly. However, I still feel like the vigor is not quite the same as it was earlier in the cycle. The growth has resumed, but the plant doesn’t yet have the same explosive energy it showed before the structural work. That being said, nothing particularly concerning happened this week. The plant continues to develop and seems to be stabilizing gradually. One adjustment I made concerns the nutrient solution. The EC previously felt slightly too high considering the plant’s current pace of growth, so I decided to bring it back down to around 1.7 EC. The pH has been stabilized around 5.8–5.9, which should keep nutrient availability in a comfortable range for the plant. Environmental parameters look stable at the moment. Temperature sits around 25°C, and the VPD is roughly 0.9, which should encourage healthy transpiration without creating unnecessary stress. For the coming week, the strategy is simple. I’ll allow the plant to continue rebuilding foliage and recovering from the previous pruning while keeping a close eye on the environmental parameters and nutrient balance. For now, everything seems to be under control. We’ll see how she responds over the next week. Alright growers, take care and see you next week.

This week, I decided to take her structure to the next level by topping a few branches, and let me tell you—she’s loving it. 🌿 The growth is vigorous, and she’s shaping up beautifully to maximize her potential for flowering. Let’s dive into what went down this week and why it’s all so important for her journey. Branch Topping: Building a Strong Framework After recovering beautifully from her initial topping at node 7, it was time to refine her structure further by topping a few branches. For each branch, I left two nodes to ensure strong, healthy growth while encouraging a bushier canopy. Why Top Branches? Topping isn’t just for the main stem—it’s an essential technique for creating an even canopy and increasing yield potential: 1. Encourages Lateral Growth: By removing the top of a branch, the plant redirects its energy into the remaining nodes, encouraging side shoots to grow and fill out. 2. Maximizes Light Penetration: A bushier plant with more branches ensures that all parts of the plant get access to light, reducing shading and improving photosynthesis. 3. Improves Structure: A strong, evenly distributed framework sets the stage for a healthier plant that can support larger buds during flowering. The decision to leave two nodes per topped branch ensures a balance between promoting growth and avoiding unnecessary stress. Tent Conditions: Consistency is Key The room conditions this week have remained steady and perfect for her vegetative stage: • Temperature: Around 18°C—cool but manageable, keeping her growth steady. • Humidity: At 60%, maintaining just the right level to support her root zone and foliage. • Lighting: The Future of Grow (FOG) LED at 200 PPFD continues to provide optimal light for compact, strong growth. i will dim it up soon! These consistent conditions give her the environment she needs to recover quickly from topping and focus on building her structure. Day 63 Today the plants show clear signs of being in an advanced flowering stage. The buds have become dense and well-formed, covered in a noticeable layer of crystal-like trichomes that give them a frosted appearance. The foliage across the canopy is mostly a healthy deep green, while some of the lower leaves display lighter shades and patches of yellowing, creating a visible contrast between the top and bottom of the plants. The flowers are clustered tightly around the branches, and many pistils have begun to curl slightly, indicating ongoing maturation. The indoor environment, with reflective surfaces around the plants, highlights the structure and texture of the buds. Overall, the plants appear stable, developed, and progressing steadily toward late flowering

It seems like such a slow process to finish growing. I totally prefer the speed of growing shrooms. However I just finished pruning the girls. I'm not presently using any nutrients. I will be using various Advanced Nutrients in later stages. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

She was switched to flower this week, and is starting to stretch through the net. I decide not to let her grow any taller and rather save some time and let her stretch directly through screen, she seems very happy with the nutrients and will continue with this mix until she shows real signs of flower. And then will start the flower solution.

Male and female preflowers showed this week. I waited a few extra days just to make sure the balls on the male were indeed balls. I chopped the male but did keep the female and defoliated her and continued LST. I increased the tension on the plant ties, pulling them further to the sides so that the inner plant would be exposed, getting those nodes in the air and light. I removed about 10% of the leaves, started at the bottom then worked up to the upper canopy, only removing fan leaves that were blocking the light to nodes that need it. I began feeding some FF Big Bloom.
