As of day 57 the grow is going well! I am more confident that the leaf yellowing is regular end of life changes at this point. The buds are putting on decent weight and the trichomes have mostly clouded over. It is entering the harvest window in my opinion, but I am going to wait another week or so before harvest and give it some time to ripen more. I have switched my feeding to a mild does of GO biothrive bloom which will finish the grow with primarily organic nutes through the last couple weeks. i will continue to fade down the nutrients as the plant is hitting the end of its life. Day 74 Harvest time! She didn't have the best start at life, lost a major limb/side stem early on (my fault, too aggressive with LST), and got a bit stunted from stress I think. Flushed twice (once was to get her out of being stunted, it worked). Probably could have left it another couple of days as some of the lower buds were still maturing, not many though, and i needed to get her out of there so I could turn the extractor fan down to bring the humidity up for the young plants. I'm really happy with the result, especially after the small disaster that was Zkittlez (which im pretty sure was actually CBD lemon as its not potent at all). Not a big yield, would have been a lot bigger had she not lost a limb. I'm not too worried though, quality over quantity right? im pretty certain this is the best stuff i've grown so far, 5th times the charm huh? Trichomes are about 80-90% milky and 10-20% amber, first plant i've actually let get amber, so yeah, finally grew something right lol. No nutes for about 2-3 weeks before chop, and yeah 2 flushes, so im hoping it'll have a nice taste. Oh, and i didn't water for 3-5 days before harvest, which could explain why she's so light (not a lot of water weight), visually looks similar to the harvest, size-wise, yet a good 60grams lighter, will be interesting to see what the dry weight is. I'm gonna throw out a guess of 38gms. Even though she has a great smell, its not very stinky while drying, nor was it in the tent. you have to touch the buds to get any scent, pretty handy tbh. Currently drying in my wardrobe with a fan blowing underneath (not touching the buds) for airflow. Happy! EDIT: not the best trim job, im not very well at the moment so just wanted to get it done. plenty of trim that im going to use to make pain relief balms/lotions

Hello growers day 8 with the hulkberry auto she’s doing very well no signs of problems at the mo she seems fine with me new light just keeping her wet waiting for her to grow abit the other 4 plants are also doing well iv got them in 6.5L pots so see if there’s any difference I messed up my diary and posted on wrong 1 my until next week be safe and happy growing ✌️

Finally the harvest, I put them to dry on 70x70cm mesh; I gave them a first manicure, in about 10 days when they are dry I will give them a second manicure and proceed to cure them.👌

Buds evolve greatly, smell is very strong now I noticed some of the buds closest to the lights start to bleach out, i'll let that happen to maximize the lights on the lower branches(there are much more lower buds then ones very close to the lights) Still 2 weeks to go

Apple Pie. mmmmmm 👋Top is a clean cut, no confusion for the plant, road ahead is clear, by completely removing the main growth tip, the auxin source is eliminated. The plant permanently halts vertical growth from that main stem and immediately sends its energy and hormones to the two new, evenly spaced branches just below the cut. Fimming slightly different because a small tuft of the top growth is left behind, the auxin disruption is temporary and less severe. The plant recovers more quickly and sends its energy to multiple surrounding growth points, often creating four or more new shoots from the same spot. It will eventually regain some vertical dominance after a few weeks if left to its own devices, but with a little more LST, bending the apex to the same height as the rest of the internodes, this shatters dominance, hopefully creating around 8-9 main shoots growing at equal height once recovered and grown out. Reduced environmental intensity for now and let her focus on dealing with this new stress for a week or two. When H+ ions are added to soil, the first nutrient displaced from exchange sites is typically aluminum (Al3+), if it's present, followed by calcium (Ca2+), magnesium (Mg2+), and potassium (K+), because aluminum and these base cations have different binding strengths. The order of displacement depends on the lyotropic series, where ions with a higher positive charge and those with weaker binding strengths are displaced first. The specific order of nutrient displacement is determined by the lyotropic series, which ranks the strength with which cations are adsorbed by soil particles: Al3+: Most strongly adsorbed, so if present, it will be displaced by H+ ions, leading to increased solubility of aluminum and potential plant toxicity. Ca2+: Displaced next, as it is more strongly bound than Mg2+ or K+ but less than Al3+. Mg2+ and K+: Displaced after Ca2+. The displaced nutrients can be lost from the root zone through leaching, becoming unavailable to plants. As H+ ions increase, the proportion of acid cations (H+ and Al3+) on the exchange sites increases, while base cations (Ca2+, Mg2+, K+) decrease, resulting in a lower soil pH. The amount of photosynthesis (water splitting) directly determines the availability of H+ ions (protons) in a plant. 90% of water is for cooling of photosynthetic apparatus the other 10% is split for its H+ among others things. Carbon sugars, like glucose, do oxidize in soil through a process primarily driven by microorganisms, which break down these sugars for energy. This oxidation converts the sugars into carbon dioxide (CO2) through cellular respiration, a key part of the soil carbon cycle, though some carbon may also be incorporated into soil organic matter. The rate and extent of sugar oxidation depend on factors like oxygen availability, the presence of Fe oxides, and soil redox conditions, which can all influence the process. My understanding of why we flush. Just plain water, what does it do? Strips the medium of salts and nutrients making it empty. What does that do? Triggers nutrient recycling within the plant. What's nutrient recycling? It is a natural part of plant senescence, which can be triggered once you know the switches. A 24:1 carbon-to-nitrogen ratio will also trigger. Why won't it trigger autophagy for me? Nitrogen needs to be gone, gone, gone almost. Ammoniacal (organic) nitrogen takes 4-5 times more water to separate it from soil particles than nitrates so what happens is most people jist flush the nitrates, leave all the ammoniacal in there and this prevents autophagy initiating. Nitrogen decays differently depending on its form during the dry. Ammoniacal nitrogen will oxidize in the air, leaving no trace. But nitrates do no decay and turn volatile and smelly and remain trapped until smoked, no matter how long you cure it does not oxidize. This is why you need to trigger it and begin the denitrification process prior to harvest to get rid of all the nitrates. Otherwise, you will smoke it. Flush till autophagy begins, just make sure you add no nitrogen afterwards. Micronutrients for trichomes. Don't leave the medium empty for 2 weeks, that does nothing but reduce yield 10%ish. Trichomes are another thing. Trichomes themselves are not directly affected by flushing; rather, flushing affects the plant's nutrient uptake, which influences the development and final state of the trichomes. Trichomes are filled with antioxidants in the last weeks, which is what makes them cloudy. A lot of the processing of antioxidants requires energy and nutrients (mostly micronutrients ), so you don't want that soil empty for 2 weeks, you just want the carbon nitrogen ratio 24:1and no higher. She still wants what she needs to ripen. Processing antioxidants is energy-intensive; heat and light accelerate the rate at which THC converts to CBN. This is why you lower DLI, lower temps. By doing so, you reduce the oxidative workload caused by photosynthesis, which opens up the oxidative capacity for the production of antioxidants. THC is mostly processed at night when the plant's oxidative capacity is generally moreso "free and available" for work

Die Ladys wurden gestern etwas beschnitten, habe untere treibe entfernt und neue treibe die nicht wachsen sollen. Ansonsten fühlen die Ladys sich extrem wohl wie man an der Bio Masse sehen kann. Gehen nun über in die Blüte, zumindest gibt es erste Vorblüteerscheinungen.

24.07.2026 Welcome to week number 7 of my Fast Buds Auto Grow, so let's go, Growmies! This week I was on vacation in Austria, so I had to leave the girls in my son's hands. Unfortunately, he forgot to water them on time 😅 Weather and Conditions Fortunately, the weather was on my side. Temperatures stayed between 23°C and 26°C, so the lack of watering didn't cause as much damage as it could have. Once again, we didn't get a single drop of rain. Growth The stretch has completely stopped, and the girls are now putting all their energy into building flowers. Because they missed a feeding while I was away, quite a few fan leaves have turned yellow. It isn't pretty, but that's life. Luckily, the buds themselves still look healthy and continue to fatten up. Papaya Cookies Papaya Cookies is still my favorite. Her colors are getting more beautiful every day, and the aroma is becoming incredibly sweet and intense. If she keeps developing like this, I think she could be ready in about two weeks. If the weather remains stable, though, I'll let her ripen for as long as possible to maximize quality. Tangie Tangie is still taking her time, just like I expected. Interestingly, her leaves stayed much greener than the other two, which tells me she's probably not as hungry for nutrients. Bud development isn't as explosive either, but that's most likely due to her sativa genetics. The fruity Tangie aroma is already unmistakable and absolutely mouth-watering. Apricot Apricot has started showing beautiful purple fan leaves. I'm not entirely sure whether that's simply her genetics or a reaction to the nutrient deficiency, but either way she looks stunning. She's easily the frostiest plant of the three, and every time I touch her my fingers become incredibly sticky. I have a feeling she's going to be something special. Feeding As soon as I got back from vacation, the girls received a good feeding of T.A. TriPart nutrients. Hopefully they'll recover quickly and finish strong during the remaining weeks. Pests Still no pests on the cannabis plants. The ants and aphids are still busy attacking my cucumbers, and as long as they stay there, I'm perfectly happy to let them. Final Thoughts My vacation definitely caused a small setback, and I'm sure it'll cost me a little yield in the end. But honestly, I'd rather harvest slightly less if the quality stays high. Trotz der kompakten Bauweise bekommen die einzelnen Blütenstände ausreichend Licht und Luft, wodurch sich nahezu jede Cola gleichmäßig entwickeln kann. Statt langer, luftiger Triebe entstehen dichte und harzige Blüten über die gesamte Pflanze verteilt. The training continues to pay off beautifully. Despite the naturally compact structure, light and airflow reach nearly every flowering site, allowing the side colas to mature evenly and produce dense, resin-rich flowers across the entire canopy. The larger fan leaves are slowly beginning to fade as the plant redirects its remaining stored nutrients toward flower production. It's a classic sign that she is entering the final stage while still maintaining excellent overall health and vigor. The finish line is getting closer now. Every passing day adds more density, more resin and even richer purple coloration. Watching this Lemon Cherry Cookies reach her full potential has become one of the highlights of this outdoor season, and I'm excited to see what these final weeks will bring.
