As of day 36, the Blue Dream'Matic is turning into a monster. She's the largest autoflower I've grown at her age, despite sharing my 6sqft tent with another plant. As the growth has been so healthy and the transitioning to flowering nutrients has been smooth, my main concern is how much stretch is going to occur in this early flowering stage. The new nodes that are budding are getting tighter so I'm optimistic about the quality and yield come harvest time. Thanks for reading! 🔵💤🍊 Note: Cannazym is used once every couple weeks at the full dose, but not in every watering due to the use of h202 which would render the enzymes ineffective. The Cannazym is mixed in its own solution along with other nutrients on an as needed basis.

➡️ Harvest day ✂️ for the Dosidos Autos! 68 days total from seeds to harvest, and what a smell! The buds are magnificent and bursting with trichomes. I am always impressed by the speed and yield at which autoflowering plants complete their cycle. Whole plants are drying, hanging from hangers, except for one of the three where I had to cut the plant in two so the buds wouldn't touch. With the air conditioning and a duct running from the unit to the tent's air intake, the air temperature is 20-21°C and between 55 and 60% humidity—the only way to achieve these drying conditions right now with the heatwave. No deficiencies from start to finish. I'm a big fan of Biotabs and its ease of use, and I can't wait to try it with photoperiod strains. Mia from Biotabs also gave me great advice when I had a question, so really top-notch service from the brand. I can only recommend their products! :D In the last photos, you can see my summer 2025 harvest with the same Barney's Dosidos auto strain grown outdoors, in 11L pots and using BioCanna fertilizer.

04/19 - They are recovering accordingly after flush - Still has some yellowing but most of their green has returned - transplanting into 5 gallon pots by the end of the week - these will be a short run - No cloning - running as mothers through out the entire grow. 04/26 - Unfortunately these have locked out and are no longer vegging, I will keep the dairy up for research purposes but I will donate these to the fellow grower that runs outdoors.

Not bad for a one gallon and rain water. Frosty, smells amazing and will be harvesting in a day. She was faster than the diary says because of the memes. 🏻💚

Esta semana voy a escribir sobre: CARBÓN VEGETAL ACTIVADO CON MICROORGANISMOS DE MONTAÑA. esta es una práctica avanzada pues al menos se necesita tener el inóculo sólido de Microorganismos de Montaña (MMS), aunque al final intentaré dar otras opciones para aquellos que no tengan MMS. Puedes consultar en la semana 3 la manera de hacer Microorganismos de Montaña Sólidos (MMS): https://growdiaries.com/diaries/134104-grow-journal-by-defharo/week/725879 El carbón vegetal es un excelente componente para toda clase se mezclas de sustrato, tiene varias propiedades muy interesantes, ayuda a la estructuración del suelo y la creación de humus, es un regulador térmico en lugares fríos, favorece la expansión de las raíces y su estructura de microporos promueve la retención de humedad y nutrientes, se dice que en 1cm cúbico de carbón puede contener de 8 a 30 millones de Microorganismos. Y es precisamente la propiedad de retención de humedad y nutrientes, de la que se aprovecha esta práctica. El carbón vegetal llamado "activado" que se usa en filtros de agua o aire, tiene mala fama entre los aficionados a las peceras, porque se dice que roba nutrientes, principalmente Nitrógeno, esto tiene una explicación y no es un problema para cultivo en macetas, el carbón seco tiende a absorber humedad y los nutrientes que se encuentra en el sustrato o en los riegos, porque es muy poroso, y de repente, tiene que saturar todos sus microporos, pero esto apenas va a tener incidencia en un cultivo. En mi caso lo que hago es mezclar el carbón con los Microorganismos Sólidos y después lo humedezco con agua y melaza para activar la Microbiología del inóculo, dándole la energía necesaria, de esta manera tengo un carbón inoculado con Microorganismos de Montaña, y una vez en el sustrato, con humedad, estos MM, se propagarán. En este caso el carbón, de momento, no captura nutrientes porque está saturado, pero después de unos riegos, será la casa perfecta donde los Microorganismos y los nutrientes convivirán ofreciendo una fuente extra de nutrientes, para que las raíces se alimenten en periodos de escasez de alimento o humedad. Supongo que quien tenga inóculos bacterianos comerciales, podría usar esta práctica para multiplicarlos. INGREDIENTES BÁSICOS: Agua pura: 500ml Carbón vegetal, para usarlo en macetas conviene que los trozos de carbón no sean grandes. 750 gramos. Melaza: 75g Microorganismos de Montaña Sólidos (MMS): 225g PROCEDIMIENTO: Se mezcla el carbón y los Microorganismos sólidos. Se disuelve la melaza en el agua. Se humedece el carbón lentamente, mezclándolo bien, porque el carbón vegetal puede almacenar mucha humedad y necesita tiempo para saturarse. Se guarda a oscuras durante un mes en un recipiente cerrado. Hasta aquí la fórmula básica, yo hago algunos añadidos, como se puede ver en las fotos. Añado 260g de Leonardita, que es un carbón vegetal con millones de años y en el proceso de convertirse en mineral, aunque todavía no lo es, es además, la mayor fuente de ácidos húmicos y comparte las propiedades del carbón. Añado Microorganismos de Montaña Activados (MMA) de forma líquida para aumentar la inoculación de microbiología, también un lacto fermento de frutas que aporta muchas vitaminas, nutrientes y enzimas... en la última foto se ve el recipiente después de un mes. Siguiendo el principio de saturación previa de los poros del carbón, para mezclas de sustratos, y sin tener acceso a microbiología, se podría, por ejemplo, saturar el carbón con alguna mezcla nitrogenada para el comienzo del cultivo, después el carbón seguirá cumpliendo sus funciones de estructuración de suelos, creación de humus y para retener humedad y nutrientes. Hello Canna Fam, Firstly thank you for stopping past and having a look at my grow🤜🏼🤛🏼 Today marks the start of week 8 and some of the ladies are slowly frosting up. The 2 Gorilla Glues which have been a bit behind in growth have finally stretched and started to flower officially. There is still along way for the 2 and they may flower for up to 15 weeks if I look at other diaries with a similar delayed growth. Today is the start of spring here in sunny South Africa 🇿🇦 and as things warm up we should hopefully get better growth. Thanks again for stopping by and happy growing y’all✌️🏼

WEEK 16 - (06/13/2021 - 06/19/2021) Week 8, Day 50 - FLOWER: 06/13/2021 After inspecting the trichome development for the last 7-10 days or so, I’ve decided that today would be the ideal time to begin flushing. The American Pie #1 does not look like it’s ready to begin flushing quite yet, as she appears to be about a week behind in maturity. Despite that, I’ll still begin flushing her today too. Recycled water: 70ppm, 69℉ + pH Up: 7ml Mixture: 95ppm, 6.4 pH, 69℉ ppm/ppm = runoff/soil JB#1 - 895/800, 6.1 pH AP#1 - 529/434, 6.5 pH AP#2 - 365/270, 6.7 pH GC#1 - 624/529, 6.3 pH -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Week 8, Day 51 - FLOWER: 06/14/2021 Did a trichome check on the plants today. Spent more time with the Jelly Banana to better determine her maturity level. She actually looks like she is ready to harvest today. I’d say trichomes are 75-80% milky, with an amber trichome here and there. I’m going to try and push her through at least one more low-ppm watering and test the runoff. If I start seeing more amber trichome development, I will cut her down. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Week 8, Day 54 - FLOWER: 06/17/2021 Recycled water (8 gallons): 69ppm, 5.8 pH, 70℉ + HydroGuard: 8ml + pH Up: 3ml Mixture: 82ppm, 6.0 pH, 70℉ ppm/ppm = runoff/soil JB#1 - 688/606, 6.5 pH GC#1 - 602/520, 6.5 pH AP#2 - 633/551, 6.9 pH AP#1 - 685/603, 6.5 pH -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [SUMMARY] I expect this to be my last full week of flower. All the girls are looking ripe for the chopping. The aroma that bursts out of the tent when I unzip it every time is heavenly. American Pie #1 is still about a week behind in maturity, but she will get cut down with the other plants regardless. Jelly Bananen started to turn a lime green color so she'll probably get chopped and hung up in the next few days when my second tent arrives (4x2 AC Infinity). That wraps up this week! This week marked the full transition into active bud development 🌸 The plant has completely finished stretching and is now focusing its energy on building buds and increasing resin production. • Final height stabilized around ~100 cm • Stretch fully completed • Energy directed into bud growth and trichome production Bud sites are now clearly developing across the canopy, though they are still in the early stages of stacking. Trichome production is steadily increasing, with a light frosty layer already visible on the sugar leaves ✨ Canopy management was adjusted this week. After a light defoliation in the previous week, additional leaves were removed and the plant was lollipopped to clean up the lower growth ✂️ Toward the end of the week, branches were gently spread apart using wires to improve light penetration. This significantly improved light distribution: • Each main branch now receives ~800+ PPFD ☀️ • Reduced shading compared to previous weeks Light intensity remains high and well tolerated, with light praying still visible, indicating the plant is comfortable under the current setup. Water demand remains high: • ~4L every 2 days based on pot weight 💧 Feeding this week: • 1x Orgatrex • 1x Greenhouse Bio Enhancer • Otherwise water + BioBizz CalMag Environment: • ~24,8°C temperature • 47–50% RH 🌡️ Aroma has developed noticeably this week. The plant now produces a very sweet, jam-like scent, something unique and very pleasant, standing out compared to previous runs 🍓 Overall this week marks the beginning of real bud formation, with increasing resin production, improved canopy structure, and a very promising aroma profile 🍩🔥
