Hello colleagues! As I expected, in the middle of the week all the plants bloomed, especially pleased that almost in unison, including our medical strain. I did nothing except remove the extra large burdocks, I will do a thorough defoliation after the large "dandelions" appear. In the meantime, I continue to observe. Everything is looking great ! Cheese is nearly done, it is starting to show amber. Maui is very happy and smells amazing, it just glistens with tri-chromes. Buttercream is doing well but I think it will take a week or two longer than the others. Blueberry is looking awesome very large thick dense buds. No Blueberry smell but a very strong plant otherwise. *Update Buttercream gelato started throwing Banana's so I removed it from the room. I trimmed it down and did not notice any other signs of hermaphroditism but I will still harvest the plant now just to be safe. There have been no issues with light or heat fluctuations at all, nothing that would trigger it to Hermie that I can think of which makes me think genetics are the issue. I have One other Buttercream going that was cloned before this one went into flower. If it hermies late in the bloom like this one has I will remove the strain from my rotation. I am not particularly pleased with the structure of Buttercream for scrog in any case. The plant that I took down had very large bud sites but were no where near as dense as the other strains in the tent.

Tent Entry Time-85 minutes Total for Week-85 minutes Removed straw mulch from each container & soaked each in separate containers filled with 1/2 gallon reservoir water mixed with 1/2 tsp each of coconut water powder, aloe powder, 1/4 tsp quillaja & recharge. Using a flame sterilized utility knife, removed all mature fan leaves, beginning from the bottom of each plant, working upwards. Three clones taken from each plant. Topped both main stems of each plant above the third node, removing everything below. Bud clips attached to each branch, spreading at 90° angles. All removed plant material salad chopped, mixed with 4 cups of original custom soil blend & a handfull of Kashi Gold, returned to respective container. Hand watered each container with 1/2 gallon 6.5 ph 13ppm reservoir water mixed with 1/2 tsp each of coconut water powder, aloe powder, Azos, & 1/4 tsp quillaja saponaria extract powder. Wetted & soaked straw much returned to respective container. Eccoci qui... Questa è una bestia!!! Con le fredde temperature che ha sostenuto, si vede chiaramente il foxtails... Ho ridato i nutrienti per far ripartire i nuovi germogli e continuare l'allungamento. Ha un odore davvero molto intenso non vedo l'ora di assaggiare i frutti del cultivo, e mi sento grato per aver tentato quest'avventura così presto!! Mancano 1/2 settimane e poi si raccoglie!! 28th October: end of stretch. Defoliation

When i came back from vacation the plants seemed to have grown a lot in 10 days. They really started budding. Measured the height of each plant but only plant 4 seemed to have grown 2 cm probably because of the main cola which grew bigger. Decided to defoliate the bottom till middle height leaves which where quite yellow and crispy. Some of them where keeping the buds from getting light. Also i gave them a little nutrients just to see how they react and i think they might need a little. I think they need atleast 2 more weeks but in a few days i will receive my magnifying loupe and then will have a good look at the trichomes how far progress is done. Update 21-07: unfortunately i observed bud rot in plant 1 and 3. At plant 1 it smelled quite bad and had to remove the whole top cola and just in case 2 little cola's beneath the top one. At plant 3 a bud under the main cola was looking a bit brownish and the small leaves attached to it where easy to pull out. So i removed just that cola. Hope the bud rot doesn't jump to the other buds but the coming weather is looking hot and dry. But rot can really happen overnight to become noticeable. See the last pics in the album of this week.

Habe sie vorgestern das letzte mal trainiert vor der Blüte 🍀 Wachsen wie verrückt mit dem richtigen Setup, das macht echt einen Unterschied. Selbstbewässerungssystem und CO2 Anlage habe ich mir ebenfalls zugelegt die in morgen Installiert werden. Noch ca. 1 Woche Veg dann gehts ab in die Blüte

Going too switch plants too a 48x48x80 with two full spectrum 1000 watt defoliated last night

Alright grow cycle, mistakes, improvements, etc... She did stay in veg for too long, her growth was slow and not the best and so she took quite long, next time i'll be there from the beginning so I can take care of her throughout. But her growth is really fun. It is a tall growing sativa with fairly tight noding when trained accordingly, producing long filled colas. The buds grow fairly dense and fluffly but do air out a little when dried. Trichome production was pretty impressive as well as terpene production. She had thrips since her early days but did not seem to mind them at all. I did spray them initially but once flower started I stopped. I believe predatory mites might have been feeding on the pupae in the soil, if that is what this specific species of thrips did, the reason I say that is I could never see adults only larvae. Whatever the case maybe they were there but the population never really increased. Something I did not mention during the grow is that those plants were played music during the days, music that is apparently developed for plants. The 10L pot was WAY too small for a true sustainable living organic and to provide enough space for the plant, that was a mistake, I'd say a 20L would be the bare minimum and still. The bigger the better. The hempy transfer did not hurt the plant and I believe even helped to some extent, BUT, I am still running test on the subject and so can't confirm anything, here are my observations Roots did not colonize the perlite, a little on top and the sides but that was it, I was expecting to see a big root mass in there. I believe hempy are great for salt fert as it hold a soup of nutes where the plant can feed from since the coco only holds very little Whereas in nature most nutrient are in the top soil where the highest amount of decomposition happens, this is where the highest microbial activity happens and so where the plant will find food. Living organic is trying to reproduce nature and so there is no need for the plant's roots to gather at the bottom of the pot. Although it could have potentially provided the plant access to a larger amount of water and possibly more oxygenation of the pot. Those are all theories, please speak up if you have other proofs. In conclusion , unless i get proven otherwise by someone or my latest running experiment , I will not be using hempies again as I believe it brings more complication and issues than a simple fabric pot. The lights, The 600w at the start was good, then I decided to add a 400w...😂 That was completely overkill and not necessary. Waste of electricity. And they started suffering from too much light it seems at some point, I raised the light by a good 30 cm and they were fine. 600 is more than enough. I am happy about how the soil performed but it has room for improvements. As for the watering technique I have been watering large ammount every few days, next time I will be giving constant small amount of water each day and a soak every week or so, I believe the soil might perform better under those conditions. She was also an easy plant to harvest whit her long colas which had very little foliage, I do trim in excess as I like my buds extra clean but the buds are not excessively bushy. The trims were use to make some bubble hash, around 100g of wet trims yielded around 1.5-2g of bubble hash. I did add a negative effect but only because it wouldn't give me a smile otherwise, but to be honnest it barely dries your mouth. The soil is going to be recycled and reused in a next grow. I can't think of anything else at the moment but if you have any question don't hesitate.

Thursday this week has been good so far, I pulled each plant out yesterday and tidied everything up. I got rid of all the tiny lateral branches that didn’t make the cut and I got Rid of everything that was below about half way down the plant. Obviously the lateral branches that grew to the same height as the canopy are staying it’s just all the non starter stuff below. I annoyingly had my in take fan die on me. We’ll sort of, it just keeps tripping the fuse on my electric so I assume it’s from when I had my res flood onto the floor - I forgot it was there on the floor because it was hidden behind the res
