Nothing much to report. She’s settled in and working on full flower. Cleaned a couple low hanging leaves, no more snipping past week 3. Up to every other day watering, roughly a liter. She’s been a breeze so far. Till next week.

Healthy D38 - 22.09.19

Got these plants as rescues, they were infested with powdery mildew, and under a bad light cycle causing them to flower prematurely. I cleaned up the dead growth over a period of a week or so after planting them into my yard, as well as weekly misting with a milk based spray to combat the PM as they returned to vegetative growth.

4th week of vegetation The fourth week of vegetation has started, and we are preparing to switch the light cycle to 12/12 for flowering. So far, everything is going great—Xpert Nutrients fertilizers have started showing fantastic results, and our lady is looking wonderful. A huge thank you to Xpert Nutrients for the amazing fertilizers and continuous support! We’re confident that great results are ahead.

So despite many obstacles and hurdles, we are on the last week of flowering hopefully the heat stays down for the next few days, and I can get some color into these nugs the sativa Room may need a few more weeks no big deal. This is typical of sativa leaning strains. this will give me a bit of a stagger in between harvest so I don’t have to do all the work in one day which is a good thing .

01/05 - Updating this a day early as they won't be 3 weeks old until tomorrow - but tomorrow's pretty busy for me... Gave them both a bucket change... added the Rapid Start to GG's bucket as her roots looked like they could use some (although I STILL think they look like OG has one more week of life to her than GG!) Going to start some LST later on today, a bit of ponytailing perhaps.... I have the feeling these two are going to fill my small tent!! Update: I went back 2 hours after changing their buckets only to find GG screaming in agony (see the pics of her teaching me a lesson)... the pH had shot up to 6.7 and she was NOT a happy camper at all!! Quickly made the adjustment and will check on her every half hour and measure her pH ... she's one sensitive little gal, is GG... Meanwhile, the same thing had happened to OG but, in typical OG fashion, she just yawned and said "Huh?" but I adjusted HER pH as well... good god! Second update 01/05 ... GG's pH was going up slowly again BUT she looked 100% better - her leaves had perked back up, the terrible crisping of them had stopped.. I trimmed off the two really bad leaves as they wouldn't ever regain any ability to help the plant and I did another small adjustment of her pH down again. I've also "ponytailed" her as I've wanted to try this technique and she seemed a good candidate as her cola was definitely going to be dominant. This technique will hopefully allow the side buds to gain more height and the plant will take on more of a bowl shape as opposed to a Christmas tree shape... Should anyone reading this want to try this, you need to know you cannot allow the ponytail to be in place longer than 8 hours a day... Interesting day... very interesting day. 01/06 - Well, the two of them made it through their day yesterday ... OG doesn't show any signs of any stress and GG is doing well although a couple of her leaves still bear the marks of her aversion to high pH levels! She's going to be the one I'm really going to have to baby but that's ok... OG is just a bull - nothing bothers that one! Ponytailing both of them again today... then I'll stop for a week before doing it again. 01/07 - Decided to do a regular bit of LST on GG - she's not as bushy as OG and will take more readily to that kind of training. OG, though, is still going to be ponytailed because she's short, fat and really, really dense. Did a bit of defol on OG yesterday and it's been well received by her - she's doing extremely well! Update... I've just discovered why OG is so much further along than dear GG... I was going back through the logs I keep because I wanted to know when to expect my newest baby's roots might hit the water - and I realized that OG's roots hit the water when she was only 4 days old! FOUR DAYS OLD!!!! That's unheard of... at least in MY experience! GG's roots didn't hit until she was 10 days old (her roots were only peeking out of the netpot at 6 days old) ... so no wonder OG has seemed like she's been about a week older than GG this whole time! That one is a ROCKET!!! Wowsie! 01/08 - Continuing to ponytail OG and LST GG... and both are loving it... responding really well. OG's side bud sites are almost completely catching up to the main cola so I think I'm going to just let it ride for a while. GG is needing more LST every day, keep pulling her over, letting her small bud sites into the light and they're responding well - had I left them alone, they would have been candidates for defoliation at some point - this way, they'll probably develop into good sized buds. 01/10 - The girls are really going to town but I'm having to do some hard LST on OG to try to keep her at a similar height as GG or we're going to have problems with the light distance soon. I may also have to do some defol on her soon - she's just terribly bushy! They're both loving their nutes - GG's is slightly less than OG's - and I'm keeping GG's pH at 6.0 since she doesn't seem to like it any higher than that... 01/11 - So the ponytailing days are over... both are being "normally" LST'd and they're both pretty much the same height which is good. Did some defoliation on OG yesterday - just took the two top fan leaves off since they were so massive they were shading the entire plant... she looks awfully good this morning and I'm super pleased. Starting to look for signs of pre-flower - should be soon!

Great week. Almost done flowering. Another 2-3 weeks.

Week 2 There has been an explosion of growth over the last week. I am amazed by how explosive it was. There are some nice bud sites forming as well. I did get a little bit of yellowing at the tops of a few fan leaves so I don’t think I will go quite as high feeding wise. I’ll go a 100ppm or so lower than what the feeding schedule recommends. I had a bit of an accident though. I was doing a little LST and I snapped a top clean of 🤦‍♂️ So now I am down to 15 tops, doh! Cooler internals for the week were: 6.0 pH 420 ppm on the 500 scale 0.9 EC 66F water temp. I can’t wait to see what week three brings! Onward 😎🍻🌱

Chopped em down 1-13. Time to dry for the next 2 weeks. Smells are insane.

Day 70 Well I think I will give them another week and harvest.Showing lots of trichomes that are mostly cloudy so I’ll let them go a bit longer.The tallest girl is at 40 inches and suffered some fox tailing I’m gonna say from when I pounded them with light for a week or so 😆.Even though she fox tailed and will not have the most dense buds she smells super strong and loaded with trichomes.Of the 5 Runtz the shortest has the chunkiest most dense buds.The other 3 were very big producers and took the LST great branching out forming tons of colas.Ill try to let them dry out this week and place in the dark for a day or so before chopping.Unfortunately in my area we have heavy rains all week humidity may become a problem so I will add a dehumidifier soon.

A it late with the update as I broke my phone,. To say it was my 1st harvest was very pleased with the outcome, 38grams dry of mostly tight nugs, trichomes on the main colas were turning Amber so cut those down couple of days earlier and left lower nugs to develop a bit more. Cured for 2 weeks now and buds smelling and smoking great, smooth taste and full of flavour! Next crop been planted very soon.

Week 1 - 01/01 to 01/08 2021 HUGE THANKS TO @MARSHYDROLED and @VIPARSPECTRALED! New surge protectors/heavy duty timers/the good cords. The Dark Devil by @Sweet_Seeds is right on track with the Red Poison and Purple Lemonade from my other diaries. The LSD is a little behind but the genetics seems to keep it small if you get the wrong pheno. Will give it a week or so for it to really settle in with a root base before cleaning out my 5gal RootPouch pots from the last grow and getting them transferred into their final homes. I have all my seedlings under the P1500 from Vipar as my veg light for the first few weeks to a month. It's SO nice to not have a blurple anymore, the light is way better in my room and on the eyes. The new diodes had every single seedling grow more in 6 hours than it did in the first 7 days under the blurp LED. The Dark Devil perked right up and threw another set of leaves in the first 6 hours under the new light. I noticed a bit of spotting on the Dark Devil in my other diary so I added some Hydrogen Peroxide to the spray bottle and it cleared up. All four have been getting constant spritzing from the spray bottle to keep humidity up. Excited to see how big i can get the autos under the new lights, will switch over from the Vipar to the Mars by end of week 2/mid week 3 once I transfer them and give them a day or so settle in. This week was amazing guys. I literally watched the buds getting fat day by day. I am still feeding with a similar program and adding Aptus Regulator once per week to boost silica and some other minerals like molybdenum and boron. I'm flowering my plants in a hot environment with CO2 boost. PPFD is high to support these settings and thankfully my the pots aren't getting hot. No fungus gnats or any other pests, no root rot and bad smell. Everything is perfectly neat and buds are exploding. My expectations from this harvest is really high and I'll keep adding CO2 for another week. Some fellow growers asked for CO2 and PPFD measurements. I am sharing these information on this week's pictures. I got my CO2 meter fixed and I tested the CO2 PPM in different places of the canopy. Typical value for this grow tent with this CO2 setup is around 1100-1350. Temperature is fluctuating between 28-31 and the average PPFD on the bud sites is 1100 micro moles. I'm sharing CO2 measurements right under the fan, where you expect it to show the lowest value. Then I'll also share the CO2 PPM value coming out from the air pipe, which is normally attached to the grill of the fan. Direct output is now around 5500PPM and in the first two days, the meter shows 10000PPM which is the max value that it can reads. This bucket yeast CO2 reactor lasts for four days and I'm refreshing the mixture twice a week. This is huge CO2 with a fairly low cost compared to propane burners or CO2 tubes. Edit: I refreshed the CO2 bucket today and got you guys a video of the direct output. The system is outputting more than 10000PPM of CO2 and the meter can't measure it for the first two days. This CO2 method is a killer one for tent grows. Very low cost for very high CO2 concentrations. Hope these information helps. Happy growing 💪

The grow is coming along nicely I had a couple issues with fungus gnats but I got that under wraps if anyone has any issues at all with fungus gnats I'm telling you get yourself some big time exterminator and you will not have any further issues I have tried everything under the sun and this is what I have landed on the best of the best as far as I'm concerned I'll never buy another brand this was allso the only brand that didn't kill all my beneficials
