Off and running with some flowers starting to show up and swell. Had some nutrient deficiencies I had to address but looks like all is dialed in now. Started using Fish Shit and some Grow Big to help with deficiencies and this seems to have helped, but I will continue to monitor and update. 🌱🤙

All is well for the blue cheese! changed how i hang my light - its now hanging with adjustable rope rachets instead of bungee cords :) now i can grow seeds with a height up to 1.4m tall! this blue cheese will probably be under 1m tall but im really excited as blueberry and cheese are among my favourites! BC is about 47cm tall now and should stretch through flowering, no smell from the plant yet. cant wait to get a whiff of it! Today I have diced it is time to switch to 12/12 scheme. Net is almost covered and I am expecting some stretch during pre-flower phase. Watering volume is increasing day by day, thanks to my dehumidifier I can keep the VPD around 1.2. Temperature is a thing... probably need to cool down some in a few weeks. Thankfully I am already adding CO2 so that should do it. As you can see I have raised EC a bit. That was easier than bringing the PH down with PH-minus. Some little burned tips on the leaves but I do like the overall colour. So let's see how it goes. 15/06: Sorry... something more important came up than updating my report.... On Monday, I start working for a boss... it's been over 20 years, so it will take some getting used to... I also suddenly had to buy a car because I hate cycling. I usually dislike driving too, but as long as the car has enough power, I can live with it and stay dry. Regarding the ladies... the problem with the persistent lighting does indeed seem to be an internet issue, as it hasn't occurred again. Furthermore, the amens is just brutally large compared to the others and will soon overgrow the whole net. I don't mind... I always prefer the strongest. In the photo from 3 days ago, this is still fairly visible, but in the photos below, it's getting harder to see... Harvesting will also be fun... Keeping the stuff separate by type will be a challenge. Water values are currently nice and stable, though I did increase the CO2 slightly to an average of 1350ppm. I've also already hung my blooming lamps (not visible in the photo). These are again Chinese quantum boards, but 400W each. They will run 4 hours a day for the last 3 weeks. This way, the dehumidifier doesn't have to work as hard, and I keep the stuff around 30˚C. Actually quite satisfied.... the first signs of flowering seem visible, but not convincing enough to take pictures yet...

Blue Shark is still super happy, aside from bugs munching on her (I pulled an inchworm off in the video!) so I sprayed with more Neem oil, and I'll be watering in some Big Bloom and Molasses later. These photos are filling out the tomato cages nicely! Sunday- I'm out picking snap please and look down and hey... wait, what?! I have a female cannabis plant growing out of my pea bed using the trellis for support! I laughed so hard. Not only because I didn't plant it but also because I didn't see it before. The thing is it smells just like Blue Shark. I'm wondering if it's the seed that didn't germinate before and I reused the soil. Thing is I put the peas out EARLY. Quite resilient.

While her sibling has been building a strong upright structure, this beautiful lady has embraced training remarkably well, opening herself into a wider, flatter canopy that promises excellent light distribution for the weeks ahead. Watching these individual personalities emerge is exactly why I love phenotype hunting. ⸻ 🌿 Life Inside the 8×8 Garden The entire room continues thriving under stable environmental conditions. Current room parameters: 🌡️ Temperature: 33.3°C 💧 Relative Humidity: 63% ⚡ Nutrient Solution EC: 1.36 mS/cm pH: 6.12 💦 Reservoir Temperature: 25.7°C Although temperatures remain on the warm side, constant air circulation keeps fresh air moving throughout the canopy, helping every cultivar continue vigorous growth while maintaining healthy transpiration. It’s always fascinating seeing twelve different cultivars respond to exactly the same environment, each revealing its own unique blueprint. ⸻ 💧 Feeding Program Chem Brûlée continues receiving the same nutrition as the rest of the 8×8 project. This week’s feeding includes: • Plagron Terra Grow • Plagron Power Roots • Plagron Pure Zym • Plagron Vita Race (foliar application) Everything appears perfectly balanced. Healthy green foliage, steady development, and vigorous new shoots suggest she’s making excellent use of every feeding. ⸻ 🌿 Growth & Development This phenotype has really begun showing her own identity. Instead of pushing strongly upward, she’s naturally spreading her energy across multiple growing tips, creating a much broader plant than her sister at the same stage. The most striking feature remains those gorgeous oversized fan leaves. They’re broad, healthy, beautifully coloured, and already acting like efficient solar panels, capturing every available photon while fueling explosive vegetative growth. The newest growth emerges vibrant lime green before gradually darkening as the leaves mature, a classic sign of healthy development. Every node appears active, with numerous secondary shoots beginning to accelerate now that the canopy has opened. She’s becoming increasingly bushy without ever looking crowded. By lowering the dominant shoot, the plant begins directing energy into multiple side branches instead of concentrating everything into one central cola. The results are already becoming visible. Several new tops are racing upward together, creating a much flatter canopy that should make far better use of the available light during flowering. LST remains one of my favourite training techniques because it shapes the plant without slowing her down. Minimal stress. Maximum opportunity. Watching these secondary branches wake up over the coming weeks should be incredibly rewarding. ⸻ 🚀 Looking Ahead Chem Brûlée Plant B is setting herself up beautifully for the next stage of development. As the secondary branches continue catching up, the canopy should become increasingly even, giving every future flowering site access to strong light. The plan remains simple: Continue guiding the branches gently through LST. Allow the canopy to expand naturally. Maintain environmental stability. Then simply let the genetics do what they do best. Every day she’s becoming wider, fuller, and more balanced. ⸻ 💚 Final Thoughts One of the greatest lessons this project continues teaching is that no two plants—even sisters—tell exactly the same story. Chem Brûlée Plant B has embraced training with incredible enthusiasm. Her open structure… Those beautiful oversized fan leaves… The explosion of new growing tips… Everything points toward a plant that’s preparing to fill her space with an abundance of healthy flowering sites. On day 34 i had to leave my house and i will be missing for the next two weeks, so i put my laptop as live cam to check how its going, and connect ed a smart outlet to a pump for irrigation.

Hey Cannafam Happy Tuesday, My little Guava girl has had another good week due to some really decent and unseasonbly hot weather for the UK. Its been absolutely scorchin with Tuesday 28c ,Wednesday and Thursday 30c with continuous Sun apart from a thunderstorm on thursday night but she was unphased. Average nighttime temps have been 24c during those days so uncomfortable for me but good for her 😊 Friday through to Monday things tapered down to 23c with Sunny spells and cloud, and today things have been a bit breezy with 20 mph winds and cooler at 20c. Daylight hours are currently at 16 hrs 22 minutes. Growth wise shes really come on and recovered from her slow start just over doubling in height, putting on 2 tiers of nodes and shes just starting her 5th set of true leaves, her auxilary shoots have now also started and internodal spacing seems quite short at the moment. I don't think im gonna train her atm but i could well change my mind and we'll see how we go. Shes also been nibbled a little bit by bugs but overall is lookin happy n healthy 😊 Thats all from me for now, thanks for stopping by ✌️💚

Really can't complain about this plant. Despite her nutrient lockout issue, she turned out perfectly, and I couldn't be happier with the yield considering she was crammed in my tent with the other two plants. Definitely the most dense buds I've grown to date as well. Can't wait to grow again with more room and possibly a larger pot size 👌

First flowering post - they arnt fully flowering yet tho I musta emit. I dunno why they all seem to be slow to sex but now there are a few pistols showing in the main growth mode so I’m v happy. The cheese plants are doing great. When I was LST’ing I must admit in order to make the canopy much more even I decided to try ‘supercropping??’ I pinched the stem enough for it to go soft and bend so I could get the highest growth node to the same height as all the others. It looked aweful after I did it but now after 24h it looks a lot better - really healthy even! I must admit I gave them a heavy dose of microbes and molasses just after bending and tying. Im sure that had a lot to do with the fast recovery. Full steam ahead to see some bloody pistols!!!!! Im working on which strains I want to grow next at the mo as well. Trying to get sweet seeds to send me some Tropicanna poison but not sure if they send test seeds to the UK. Probably not - we’ll see. Iv been wanting to grow that plant for aaaages. I’m also looking for a really decent gas strain. I been recommended NYCD. Havnt narrowed down a breeder yet tho. UPDATE - Saturday Thought I’d do a quick update just to say I added a few photos and a video from my security camera in there. It’s quite useful just to see how much they are stretching in a week. Not that I need to know it’s just cool. Also when I go away (as I do most weekends for about 2-3 days - sometimes more) I can just tune into the cam to make sure my physical security hasn’t been breached by any gangs lol. Well not any gangs just one - and they happen to be backed by the government. Lol I worry that when I’m away they will raid and leave me an arrest warrant after having stolen all my plants and meds. It’s a fairly dramatic fear but it’s not without its reasonings. I have been raided by the police number it’s times so it’s not a totally irrational fear - the difference is that I’m sober now (other than cannabis medicine of course) and so I’m not drawing attention to myself and bringing unwanted eyes on me and secondly (and maybe more important) I don’t actually sell drugs or weed or anything anymore so yeh. It’s a rational irrational fear lol I do believe the police have bigger fish to fry HOWEVER here in the UK it is still VERY illegal to grow so i have absolutely no doubt that given any chance they would happily relieve me of everything iv built up in the past 4 years (whilst being on probation I will add lol). The proof is in the pudding though. Every since I quit using heroin and benzodiazepines in favour of cannabis things have just been getting better and better and iv been able to function better and better also. I must admit I was worried for a while that cannabis took away my creativity when I used lots of it but I am learning that it was actually just the fact that my life was in a place I didn’t like and I was dealing with serious childhood trauma. When I was using heroin and benzos it allowed me to cover it in order to live my daily life (obviously, otherwise I wouldn’t have been willing to put up with the MANY negatives - there had to be something it was doing for me), however, when I took away the numbing opiates and benzos I had to start dealing with it and it was that trauma and having to deal with it which is why I wasn’t able to be creative. I’m an artist and so creativity is very important to me but for months, well years actually I just wasn’t able to paint or even play music really for that matter. I just couldn’t bring myself to do it, I think now because I was just preoccupied in my mind dealing with stuff. I won’t deny tho - that cannabis in excess DOES take away my motivation to get up off my ass and turn the TV or Netflix off though. I do have to watch out for that because If I’m not careful I can end up sitting there all day smoking when I should be out doing stuff and then I miss windows for my other crops where I can’t just turn the light source on and off whenever I feel like it - it’s quite hard to do that with the sun!! Anyway - I kind of use this space as a proper diary every now and again when I need to get something out. It’s not like anyone but me really reads these bits anyway so it doesn’t really matter!! Hell - even I don’t really read them tbh! UPDATE - I’m all jazzed up about growing again for sure. I somehow only just figured out really that you I can program different ‘scenes’ within my temp and humidity controllers. So anyway obviously the past month it’s been set to the veg/auto settings and I recently obviously had to switch it to the flower settings but I kind of forgot to lower the RH and adjust temp accordingly. So anyway that’s a long way of saying I did that lol. I’m definitely going to include another CBG seed in my new grow as I’m really interested in growing some hemp for medicinal use. Maybe as a tincture and or edibles, probably from rosin. It just seems to make sense rather than doing a nasty crude extraction using alcohol. The only trouble is I believe I sacrifice yield but then the flip side Is it would be less because there is less nasty shit. So I havnt narrowed down a specific breeder yet but iv been looking at a few. I was also looking at 1:1 CBD/CBG strains but they said they need more breeding before it brings the cbg ratios up in the majority of plants as it’s meant for people planting hundreds of seeds (from what I can gather). I received Fastbuds LSD-25, purple lemonade, chemdawg and I dunno something else but I’m kind of uninterested in growing them atm so they’ll stay in the vault. (which is growing pretty big now lol) To satisfy my purple craving I will be growing the sweet seeds Tropicanna poison as it looks banging and iv wanted to grow it since I sort of half grew the Dutch passion critical orange punch. So a long time. I will also be narrowing down two strains from the EU humboldt site. I intend to order tomorrow evening when I get paid as I’m always paranoid of them selling out. This is the only time iv really slowed down to choose what I want to grow. Also this is the first time iv chosen based on flavour first. I intend to cover sweet, sour, Chem and citrus with probably 4 THC dom strains and then the cbg variety also. I’m interested in starting to look at KNF but mainly from a vegetable plot perspective atm. I’m happy and comfortable using salt based nutrients now I’m not paying a lot for them and I’m not buying into the whole shipping a load of water philophosy - I do realise it can only get me so far tho. I do believe my allotment is a good place to start as I’m not reliant upon it. So if my practices don’t work it’s not as big of a deal to me. I rely on my cannabis crop - I can’t say the same about my veg yet.

She's still doing what she does best. 😂👑 Growing. Filling space. Building flowers. Getting heavier. Getting louder. And somehow continuing to make me stop every time I walk into the room. Amnesia Haze Auto Pheno A remains one of those plants that doesn't really need an introduction anymore. You see her... and you know exactly who she is. She's the tall one. She's the funky one. She's the heavily branched one. She's the one with flowers everywhere. She's the one getting heavier by the week. And she's still not finished. Not even close. So let's give this Queen the spotlight again. Because honestly... she deserves it. 👑🌿🔥 ──────────────────────── 🌱 WEEK 11 – THE AUTO THAT DOESN'T FEEL LIKE AN AUTO ──────────────────────── Now we're getting into an interesting part of this experiment. Because technically... we're moving into the autoflower section of the 8×8 Adventure. 😂🌱 But I'm going to be completely honest with you: I'm not entirely sure anymore where the autoflowers end and the photoperiods begin. 😂 We're running everything under 12/12 from seed. We're treating the room as one shared ecosystem. Same general lighting. Same environmental strategy. Same irrigation system. Same nutrition approach. Same photons. And somehow... the plants are all finding their own rhythm within that setup. Some are moving quickly. Some are moving slowly. Some are compact. Some are tall. Some are stacking aggressively. Some are taking their time. And some... well... they're behaving like autoflowers. Or perhaps the photoperiods are behaving like autoflowers. 😂 At this point, I honestly don't know. Maybe they're all just behaving like plants. And that's actually the part I love most. ──────────────────────── 👑 THE 12/12-FROM-SEED MYSTERY ──────────────────────── This entire project started with one of the things I find most fascinating about growing: What happens when we stop trying to put every plant into a perfectly predictable box? We've got different cultivars. Different genetics. Different phenotypes. Different structures. And yet they're all sharing the same 12/12 environment. And they're responding... but not identically. Amnesia Haze Pheno A is a perfect example. She's an autoflower. Yet when I look at her in this room, I'm not sitting there thinking: "Ah yes, that's clearly an autoflower." 😂 She's simply behaving like a plant that has found her rhythm. She's flowering. She's building. She's developing. She's getting heavy. And she's doing it under the same light schedule as everybody else. That's what makes this experiment so interesting. We're not forcing the plants to fit our expectations. We're watching them tell us what they want to do. ──────────────────────── 🌸 AND SHE'S STILL BUILDING ──────────────────────── The biggest thing I notice this week? She's still building. The flowers continue to develop. The structure remains incredibly full. And the weight throughout the plant is becoming increasingly obvious. She's not just carrying flowering sites anymore. She's carrying flowers. Lots of them. And because she's such a large, three-dimensional plant, they're distributed throughout the entire structure. High. Low. Inside. Outside. Along the branches. Hidden behind foliage. Everywhere. 😂🌸 You think you've found the last flower... and then another one appears. And another. And another. It's like she has an unlimited supply. And honestly? I'm not complaining. Not one bit. ──────────────────────── 🍃 THE FUNKY LEAVES ARE STILL HERE ──────────────────────── And yes... our funky leaf lady is still doing her thing. 😂🍃👑 Up. Down. Sideways. At angles that sometimes make me wonder whether the leaves have their own architectural plans. And I still find it fascinating. Because we're working with a three-dimensional lighting environment. Main lighting from above. Additional lighting deeper into the canopy. Additional light reaching areas that wouldn't necessarily receive the same illumination from a traditional overhead-only setup. And then we have this girl... responding in her own particular way. Could the lighting contribute to what we're seeing? Possibly. Could it simply be her genetics? Absolutely. Could it be a combination? Very possible. I'm not going to pretend I have the answer. And that's okay. Sometimes the best part of a grow diary is documenting an observation without immediately deciding what caused it. We'll keep watching. We'll keep photographing. And we'll let the plant tell us more. ──────────────────────── 💡 SAME PHOTONS – COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PLANTS ──────────────────────── And this brings me back to one of the biggest themes of the 8×8 Adventure. Photons don't care what label is written next to the plant. 😂☀️ They arrive. The leaves intercept them. The plant processes that energy. And then... genetics take over. One phenotype creates one architecture. Another creates something completely different. One plant stretches. Another stays compact. One plant flowers quickly. Another takes the scenic route. One plant becomes extremely frosty. Another becomes incredibly large. And Amnesia Haze Pheno A? She apparently decided: "Why not be tall, funky, heavily branched AND loaded with flowers?" 😂👑🌿 Fair enough, Queen. You do you. ──────────────────────── ☀️ THE LIGHTING UPGRADE CONTINUES TO WORK ──────────────────────── The room is still running with the upgraded Future of Grow lighting setup. We added two additional Black Series 600W fixtures to give the room more capability. Rather than simply running everything at maximum output, we brought the fixtures down to approximately: 💡 ~59% power from the plug which gives us approximately: ☀️ ~1,500 PPFD across the upper canopy with intensity naturally changing according to plant height and position. And that's something I really like about this setup. We have the capability... but we're controlling it. We're not chasing numbers simply because we can. We're creating a larger lighting envelope and then using the available power intelligently. And this Queen? She's clearly making use of it. 😂🌿💡 ──────────────────────── 🌸 THE QUEEN IS FILLING HER SPACE ──────────────────────── At around 175 cm, this girl is still one of the big characters in the room. And she knows how to use that space. She's not just tall. She's three-dimensional. She's got branches moving in different directions. Flowers positioned at different heights. Foliage creating layers. And flowers tucked throughout those layers. That's what makes her so impressive. You can stand back and see the entire plant... and then move closer and discover another story. A branch. A flower. A cluster. A little patch of frost. Another developing flower hidden behind a leaf. It's almost like looking at a city from above. From far away, you see the structure. Get closer... and suddenly there are thousands of individual things happening. That's Amnesia Haze Pheno A right now. ──────────────────────── 🔥 HEAVY MAMA IS STILL HEAVY ──────────────────────── And yes... she's still getting heavy. 😂🔥 This has become one of the defining characteristics of this girl. The branches are carrying serious amounts of flower. The support system continues doing its job. And the plant is increasingly looking like she has some weight behind every major branch. That's a beautiful thing to see. Because when you follow a plant week after week, you get to see the transition. First: "Look at all these flowering sites." Then: "Look at those flowers developing." Then: "Okay... those flowers are becoming substantial." And eventually: "Right... this girl is getting heavy." 😂👑 We're definitely in that chapter now. ──────────────────────── 💨 AND THAT AROMA... ──────────────────────── The smell continues to be another part of her personality. She's not exactly shy. 😂🔥 The flowers are becoming increasingly noticeable. And this is one part of growing that photography simply can't capture. I can photograph her structure. I can photograph her flowers. I can photograph the frost. I can photograph the leaves. But I can't photograph the smell. Not yet, anyway. 😂📸 So some parts of this diary have to remain purely sensory. Some of the autoflowers don't look dramatically different from the photoperiod plants. Some of the photoperiods are moving with an almost autoflower-like rhythm. And each individual plant is still expressing itself differently. So perhaps the most useful observation isn't: "Does this look like an auto?" or: "Does this look like a photo?" Maybe the better question is: "What is this particular plant doing in this particular environment?" I know I've said it before. 😂 But that's because it's important. Especially for anyone discovering this diary for the first time. Every phenotype has its own diary. And every reader may only see one of these reports. So I want the experiment to remain clear. We're not changing everything for every plant. We're watching what happens when different genetics experience a common environment. And Amnesia Haze Pheno A is giving us a spectacular example. She is doing something very different from many of the other girls. And that's exactly what we're here to document. ──────────────────────── 📸 THE CAMERA STILL HAS A LOT OF WORK ──────────────────────── I don't think this girl is ever going to make the photographer's job easy. 😂📸 There are simply too many details. Every distance tells a different story. And this plant has enough structure to keep revealing something new every time I look at her. ──────────────────────── 👑 SHE DOESN'T NEED TO PROVE ANYTHING ──────────────────────── At this point, Amnesia Haze Pheno A has already established herself. She's one of the big personalities of the room. She's tall. She's vigorous. She's heavily branched. She's flower-loaded. She's funky. She's aromatic. She's getting heavy. And she's still developing. She doesn't need to compete. She doesn't need to be the biggest. She doesn't need to finish first. She's simply being herself. And honestly? That's what I want. Because the purpose of this adventure isn't to make every plant behave identically. Não coloquei muitos nutriente essa semana, está linda e resinando muito, as vezes deixo no sol por umas 2/3 horas

ok so everything has gone fantastic , no nutrient burns at all , and have been slowly creeping up the base nutrients , i have stopped the cal mag and now adding house and gardens bud XL at full strength these girls are now in full swing of flower and i bought a new ph stick this week , i have found when PHing the feed bucket that its best too have air stones in the bucket , add all nuts and then ph but do not use the feed that day as if you check the next day the ph is off again so i left it 24 hours after i add more ph down , and it seems too make the measurements alot easier and stable , i have bent down the main stems " without damaging them onto my netting too A keep the canopy all the same high so my lighting is covering all plants at the same distance and also it allowed the side stems too reach up too , the zkittlez did stay alot shorter and compact compared too the rest , but she has had the shame conditions than the rest , so she much just be a shorter pheno type i also was sponsored another new led light by kingbo this week so have added another 600watt led too the grow , so now have two 600's and one 900watt , and temps are still fine sitting at 24c lights on and 19-20 off , so am pleased with that , this lady stayed very short and compact and didn't really stretch much at all and it by far the smallest plant of the bunch ,
