Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Rainbow melon, a beautiful plant cannot wait to see how she turns out this time. Had a little trouble with her on my first go, but definitely going to give her a little more attention this time watching my drive backs and how much low stress training I do on her, I know she’s got it in her fastbuds never disappoints 🔥💯

8/14 Everything looked beautiful this morning. Seems like I've got the watering schedule down better. I do have one gmo that looks hungry so I need to increase nutes. At least on that plant. Toasted toffy has little spits that could be water marks, pests or septoria. I don't think it's septoria. In the pastvi lost far more leaves when I had septoria. I've been crazy busy. I'm surprised things are going this well. I need to put up the final supports so I can add to them once I've got big heavy buds. I was really stoked to see everything doing so well. The plant in the 50gallon is the furthest in flower. I'm so grateful to have the ability to grow high quality cannabis for myself amd my wife. There's nothing quite like it. That hash I made turned out great. I think I'll press it today. Supports will be done this week. Saw a few aphids on the plant I cut down. Earwigs aren't here this summer or there would be NO aphids. Plus when I cleaned out the insides this morning I found some dead leaves WAY in the middle by the stalk. They would've eaten that shit if they were here. Birds and other predators seem to be keeping pillars at bay. I'm not seeing the damage and when I do sfind one it's absolutely tiny like a newborn. I'll think about whether I need to spray BT. 8/15 That fucking cancel button always fucks everything out. I was done no I need to start over. Didn't water last night. Found pm on my gmo in the 30. Interior of the plant. Should've defoliated better and earlier. Oh well. I'll treat with k bicarb or plant doctor. I'll have to think about it. Other plants are looking good. Well they all are. I just hate pm. I can't isolate it due to local laws so it is what it is. Nothing I haven't dealt with before. Watered today. The middle gmo in the 30 got 1.5 gallons. The other plants each got a gallon. Including the one in the 10gal and 50 gal. Its supposed to rain but only like .1. I also chose to feed today. All plants got a gallon. I DID NOT WATER THE EVENT HORIZON IN THE MIDDLE AND THE SHERB PIE AS THEY WERE PRAYING AND HEAVY. I need to get these supports up. I'll update as I go. Oh and one thing I remembered is that, I didn't properly sanitize the trellis nets I installed on the plant that has pm (non visible today but still). I harvested the plant that used that bet last year was harvested in two stages. The bottom I let go way later and ended up with a little pm on the stuff I left for hash material and it got some pm. I wonder if that's whete this came from. 8/16 Death in the family this morning. I couldn't decide if I should use organocide plant doctor or not. It's a systemic It's been discontinued and reformulated. It's a systemic fungicide. Instead I mixed two tsp potassium bicarbonate with a little dawn in a half gallon mister. I used gloves and defoliated everything that had pm on it. I checked the plants next to it and luckily it hasn't spread yet....but it will. I feel safer using the k bicarb. I'll do more research and try to find the best way to tackle this. I don't want to get rid of the plant and due to local ordinance I can't isolate it. If I can keep it to this one plantvthat would be fine. I'd just use it for extracts. So glad I didn't use all that netting and put up tjosr supports. I'll need to disinfect them if I decide to use them. We'll see. Plants are coming right along flowering. WENT BACK OVER AND DEFOLIATED A BUNCH OF fan leaves and interior stuff to promote airflow. Still saw pm on that plant u had treated earlier with k bicarb. I can't isolate due to laws and I'm not willing to discard this massive monster cropped plant. So I'm going to treat it. I started by removing everything infected and improving airflow on that plant and all the others. I didn't make it to one event horizon. I plan to treat the infected plant with Organocide Plant Doctor since its what I have on hand and I've had good luck. It's a systemic. After I treat the one plant and see that it didn't hurt the plant I'll use a preventative dosage on the other plants. I've battled wpm several times. This is something I'm very familiar with. What sucks is it's totally my fault it happened due to grower error. This has set back me puttingvup my supports as well. Plants look good woth a haircut. Also the toasted toffy had some leaves removed with spots that looked like septoria. I think nutes havecreally kicked things in gear. Now there are little buds on plants. 8/17 BAGS still seemed heavy so I didn't water. It's been MUCH cooler. It's 63 at 9am. It would normally be 80 by now so maybe they aren't using as much water. I watered the the toasted toffy I missed last round but the Sherb Pie still had weight to it. I also watered the GMO on the far side and the one in the 30 as the seemed a little lighter. I looked in and I couldn't find a SPOT of powder mildew on the plant! I know it will come back but on this 100% rh day there isn't a spot I can find! I'm going to go check on them later today. Do some more defoliation and treat the plants with Plant Doctor to try to mitigate the spread of the P.M. Very suprised the k bicarb worked like that. WENT BACK OVER AROUND 11. THE TOASTED TOFFY THAT MAY HAVE SEPTORIA I WILL TREAT TONOGHT WITH PLANT DOCTOR. I REMOVED ANYTHING LOOKING INFECTED. I LSTed THE BIGGEST BRANCHES WITH CLIPS TO THE BAG AMD TWINE. SO AIRFLOW IS MUCH BETTER. I THEN REMOVED A BU CH OF THE MIDDLE. I COULD TAKE MORE BUT ON OUTDOOR HARVESTS THAT LITTLE STUFF GOES IN EXTRACTS. I PUT A FEW HOURS IN TODAY. IM GOING BACK AND ILL TEST THE PLANT DOCTOR ON THE TOASTED TOFFY. BUT IF THE K BICARB WORKS THIS GOOD ILL JUST KEEP USING THAT. 8/18 It started sprinkling when I left this morning. I did more defoliation on a few different plants. Including the healthiest GMO. It seems like things should be further in flower but it is what it is. I'm not doing clones again. Only reason I did is because I lost my 72 seedlings and depleted my seed supply. I hate treating pm. Lost Coast Plant Therapy I'd really whete its at when it comes to treating pm. I might just order that. My commercial buddy told me that he wouldn't use the plant doctor and not to "spray shot all over my plants". He's probably right. I see something small and try to overcurrent. I dont see any more septoria looking leaves on the toasted toffy since I lsted it and removed damaged leaves. I was going to use the fungicide plant doctor on that and then use it ad a preventative. He's probably right. I've put a lot of work in defoliation and such. It WILL spread but it hasn't yet. I removed what I saw. I was going to hit it again with k bicarb but it said it should be weekly treatments.i hope I'm doing things right. I shouldn't be this worried about pm but I've got am anxiety disorder. I'll fully sterilize (AGAIN) my posts and trellis netting before I instal it. I'll probably go check on them later. So did the one invthe ten. I realized it was just comparing it to the bags that were saturated. Still I ended up giving the event horizon in the back a half gallon and split the other half with the one in the 10 that dries out super fast. It's crazy. The weather just abruptly changed one day and I go from watering twice a day to hardly at all! Everything but the sherb pie and the seedling in the 10gal are vigorously flowering. Upping the nutes was a smart move. The seemed to like it. I'm gonna check later and as soon as I can I'll hit that toasted toffy with plant doctor. That's tied for furthest along in flower. I've done a bunch of research and I think this is the right move. I'll keep this updated. After this small patch of shitty weather we are goingvto get some sun amd these girls will EXPLODE! D29: Pistils are clearly showing now. She's looking really good and vigorous. I did notice a (very) small number of brown pistils. Might be from being a little bit careless while doing LST and toching it with the iron wire, could that be? Or could there something else going on? Speaking of LST, from now on I'm going to let the main cola grow upward again. I kept her really low to give the lower branches enough space, and I think that's the case now. I also tucked away most of the fan leaves that were blocking the light of certain tops. I think I'm going to plant her out in full ground by the end of the week. Temperatures are supposed to be 20+°C then. Any thoughts about that? D31: I decided to let it stay in its current pot, in order not to stress the roots right before flowering. She still keeps on growing every day, still at a surprisingly high pace. Also, I'm tucking away the fan leaves and other leave that are blocking the sunlight from the tops. Tomorrow it's watering time again, right before the start of week 6. Since I'm only watering her after the soil is almost dried out, I'm probably not watering her for another 5-6 days. My question now is what fertilisers I should be adding. There's already 60g of granular 6-3-3 fertiliser in it (added over the past two weeks), so I won't be adding any more of that anymore. I have phosphorous grains (6-16-0), and potassium grains (2-0-20) and I'm wondering if I should already add those potassium grains or just stick with phosphorous grains this time and add potassium grains next watering when it's (probably by then) just started flowering. Any advice?

Day 58, 7th of November 2020: The 6th day since the lamp switched to be 12/12... I raised up the nutrition intake as it can be seen above only the BioBizz family 2ml/l and removed some LST because the plant remains in shape or just set a bit but nothing significant.... Nice thick plant ...strech is on the way albeit she hasn't grown that much yet. ..... 😅 Nothing really to report there is crazy 2-3 weeks from now ;) ;)

Last week for this stunner so lucky as the summer temperatures are set too sore next week , so really couldn't have timed the end of these plants more perfectly ,

Beautiful strain to grow, she ended up. With a smaller size compared to her sisters but she's a big quality lady very frosty and sweet, the aroma of this sticky flowers are super sweet and floral, just so wonderful, I love this strain and I'm glad I have black cherry punch in my garden the 5 of them with the same aroma 🔝 can't wait to croptober

i actually wanted to harvest it at the end of the week, but i will give it another week to ripen. the trichomes are not yet at the stage i would like them to be. so far i have not discovered any mould. due to the changeable weather and the sometimes very high humidity, it is quite possible that it will develop. unfortunately this happened with my white widow. let's hope that she continues to do well and that i will be able to harvest her.

With the water I was going from 50/100ml slow to the 400/500,so I'm changing time to time my water until they are big enough and then I only feed 1/1,5L water,That's how it goes every time I'm growing the water cycle

We’ve officially entered week 7 with our FBA 2502 from 42Fast Buds, and the transformation is impressive—our girl is now in full bloom! After a smooth and steady vegetative phase, the flowering stage is progressing beautifully. The decision to experiment with a 12/12 light cycle for this autoflowering strain has proven to be an interesting choice, and so far, the results are encouraging. The plant stands tall and strong in its 10-liter pot, with a well-structured shape thanks to early LST. The climate remains stable with daytime temperatures reaching up to 30°C and an average range of 27–28°C. Humidity levels are consistently between 60% and 65%, which has supported healthy growth throughout the cycle. We continue to feed her with Xpert Nutrients, and the impact is clearly visible—dense flowering sites, vibrant foliage, and a healthy overall appearance. The aroma is starting to build, and the buds are forming with great structure and frost. So far, this grow has been a pleasure, and week 7 marks a crucial point where everything starts coming together. We’re excited to see what the final weeks will bring!

Purple Lemonade , Gelato 1&2, LAK 2&3 are all just about done theyll be coming down over the weekend or early next week. T26, Pineapple Express, Mexican Airlines, LAK 1, 6 Shooter Blue Dreamatic and Cream Cookies are all on the flush but will need a few more before chop. This tent reeks up the whole block it's pretty intense skunk in the driveway right now. There will be one more update I'm guessing for most of these before the harvest update. This was the most successful autoflower crop I've had in a long time I think theres some really good quality buds on some of these. awesome strain, fat resinous buds with an awesome scent and great yield! both plants grew very evenly and almost looked the same, would grow again any time!

#3 has beautiful pink buds very happy with these girls, hopefully the other two show some colour as the Temperature comes down. Have swapped the 250 red CFL for a 150 blue. May turn it off for the last week to get every last bit of pink possible! Pots have a nice wet dry cycle, have tried to hold back and not over water so I've been watering with a spray bottle. I use a 1L hand spray bottle and fill it up three to four times depending on the weather. Although it seems impossible to overeater with the breathable fabric pots. Which are awesome if I haven't said already. Perfectly fit 11 in my small cupboard which is lucky as I ordered ten as soon as he free one arrived without measuring them! Stoners eyes never lie! 👁️ Buds should be huge if they keep going at this speed! Haven't topped them for the natural look, been a few years since I've done it can't wait to see a big fat cola bud at the end!
