Retrained and defoliated slightly. She’s been topped and tipped a couple of times in most places this girl here and is responding very well to it and to the bending. She does look like she could become some sort of powerhouse😳 not too much of I hope. I have created a lot more space for a much bigger plant within the flower tent she’ll be moved to but my biggest problem is my vegetation space😱😱😱 I think it can all be accommodated, let’s see.

for the 2nd week of the euphoria I gave her 2 ml of trimix, which contain mycorrhizae, trichoderma, amino acids and microelements, all organic (is what the brand says)

Had some issues all the seeds shells kept sticking to the codeliden leaves i know butchered the spelling im a lil late on this diary as some of the plants are a couple weeks old

I guess I first have to extend a big thank you to James and the folks at RQS. The genetics of their “Northern Light” did not disappoint and this was a no fuss grow across all categories. This will be the only time you hear me refer to Northern Lights in the singular. It’s kinda like calling a “pickerel” a “walleye” - you just don’t do that up here😉. She took well to training, showed no signs of lockout or deficiency, and we were at the top limits of botanicare’s recommended feeding schedule the whole time. I’d call this typical NL - the scent wasn’t overly powerful, she grew somewhat squat and while I’m actually very surprised at the final weigh (thought it would be much less), the whole grow was typical of the strain in my experience. Possibly her biggest limiting factor was simply space constraints. The photos pretty obviously demonstrate that she got really crowded out by the neighbouring kush and I wouldn’t be surprised at all if she’d have done a little better with some more room. That said, what isn’t “typical” are the effects. RQS touts this as a cup winner and I can see why. Had the opportunity to sample a little and WHOA! She Hits with a lasting, cerebral and euphoric effect that starts as a light, happy high. Not a crippling or dulling effect at all. Just everything you’d expect from a well rounded strain in general. Perfect. I almost wanna describe it as a classic sativa but I’ve been smoking nothing but a pure indica for so many months now that anything different is gonna feel that way 😂. Thank Christ for some new stash diversity: 1:! Many, many thanks to all those who cared to comment, suggest or converse on this one. Day 30 Top dressed each 5 gal 444 gia green 1.5 tbsp Kelp meal 1tbsp Super fly insect frass. 1 tbsp .5 tbsp of mykos. 1 Tsp glacial rock dust Feed microbial tea. Day 29 and 30. 24 and 48 brew. Crab meal half cup per 5 gal Alfalfa meal half cup per 5 gal I think some humic granual acid for nutrient uptake. Can’t remember Also spread out red wiggler worms “equally” to each pot. Topped some plants after video. Will update in a few days of response to topping. Day 34 last day of week 4 veg. Set the auto water system up. video update showing the system and each plant. Runt gelato does not have auto water. I’ve got 1 to many pots in my veg tent currently.

Seeing lots of good development, Pineapple Express is almost there! I went ahead and defoliated the light bleached leaves, trichomes are getting more cloudy. Spotted a few amber trichomes but not many... update- varies by bud. Trich’s appear mostly cloudy to me. Looking at harvesting maybe mid-week next week... 5 more days or so... maybe sooner if trichomes becomes more amber! Super excited to see how this Pineapple Express turns out! Went ahead and clipped the bud off her that had been pollinated, she was starting to open up some of the seed pods. Seeds look fully developed and are quite dark. Tester bud had a few seeds in it but not outrageously so, only a few. Berry white is trucking along, lots of trichome development this week but buds still don’t seem to be swelling much. Smell coming off this little plant is fantastic!

So far so good, eager to have the auto flowers finish up so I can focus on the photo period. Both auto flowers are being fed full strength with big bud powder added as well. Trained the photoperiod with plenty of lst hoping to start flowering her in 2 weeks max
