Hello Growmies, The final chapter of this incredible journey has unfolded, and it's time to share the bountiful harvest and reflections on the entire cultivation process. Trimming the plant was a joy, and with gentle fingers, I removed all the large fan leaves. The precision in this process revealed the true beauty of the buds, setting the stage for a smooth harvest. With care and gratitude, the plant was chopped, and the buds were hung to dry. The anticipation for what lies ahead only adds to the sense of accomplishment. The wet weight, excluding fan leaves, stands at an impressive 782 grams. The buds are massive, a testament to the efficacy of the nutrients used, particularly the Power Buds. The name seems apt, as the result is a collection of sticky, dense buds with subtle lemon notes and sweet pungent undertones. In the final moments, the plant unveiled some delightful purple hues. While I wish I could have allowed them to intensify further, it's a reminder that each grow is a learning experience. In hindsight, a slightly longer fading period would have accentuated those beautiful colors. We live and learn, and that's the essence of this journey. March 17, Day 76: As written I collected the last three plants. At the moment I got a partial of 224 grams from the first three plants and I think of doubling with the last three. Among the latter is the plant with the largest bud which obviously becomes my favorite. This time I managed to take photographs of the plants before cutting them. With these last three plants I got the most productive plant, the one with the largest bud and the one with the longest bud 😉 For a final report on this strain: The Gorilla by RQS is an excellent strain for anyone who loves a high THC content and I particularly recommend it to growers who pass for the first time from photoiperiods to autoflowering. You will grow very large and very productive plants very similar to photoperiodic ones. This strain branches out a lot and must be defoliated and de-branched. You can grow it well with the SCROG technique, but if like me you have no space problems you can also use the Sea Of Green technique. In conclusion I want to thank all the growers who have followed this my first diary to which I have a happy growth! First I have to say that I am very satisfied with the total harvest, from the last three plants I got 369 grams which added to the 224 of the previous harvest make a total of 593 grams. I started this diary with 8 Gorillas and 2 Cheese. 6 Gorillas completed their cycle in the same time frame, the 2 remaining gorillas showed a photoperiodic genetic predominance, one of them is in an advanced flowering phase while the last one after three months still shows only a few pistils. I'll probably kill her, and move on by putting new seeds in the soil. Unfortunately, where I live is illegal to grow marijuana, otherwise I would have simply moved outdoors, but I can't and must be ruthless. Regarding the two cheeses there is not much left at the end of their cycle and I started to give only water to one of the two plants. Good and happy growth to all! 😜

So this week after I gave it under nutrients I apparently gave it too much nitrogen while having a potassium deficiency. Shiney dark leaves, So i fixed that, but some didn't bounce back, and I tried nitrogen. I think they are doing pretty good considering everything I've put them through SO FAR. lol. Nutrients are NPK Raw's total lineup, follow their instructions at first, Fastbuds adjustments as of this week.

Outdoor coco 15g pots Progress: Lava cake is about week 6.5. Starting to ripen and get heavy. Buds are getting fat. Strong sweet cookie/ ice cream smell. Buds are getting more frosty. Buds are getting so heavy I installed a net on 3 of 4 and doing #4 soon. On my most mature plant - About 25-30% of pistils have turned color. Some trichomes are milky, none amber. Looks like plants are a few days apart. Marathon OG week 5 1/2. Still stacking and getting fat. Smells dank. Trichomes are showing up. The 20 gallon OG is growing into a monster. I’m still waiting for the heavy bud stacks…. Nutes: Bumping up ppm, the dry koolbloom and molasses, stopping regular koolbloom and grow. Looking to starting flushing the lava cake in a week or so. Feeding 2x a day; 3x on hot days. Weather: Had a good week of cooler temps until yesterday, when it was 97. Looking at hugs in the 80s this week, perfect. Pests: The moths and caterpillars are in full swing so I’m applying BT every morning. I’m working hard to reduce caterpillar 🐛 losses. We lost all of the top colas on a plant in another location 💔 . I’m only losing one bud at a time and not the entire colas so far. Wishing fat buds and monster harvests to all.

16 Diciembre: El runoff ha alcanzado los 10EC, las plantas siguen creando puntos de floración con espacio internodal corto, gracias al stress generativo, están de 80~85cm de alto aprox. Hay una sola planta que tiene más de 90cm. En unos 2 días más se alcanzarán los 21 días de floración, ese día se hará una defoliacion grande y Lollipop, después de esa defoliacion se volverá a riego vegetativo para estimular el engorde de los cogollos. 18 Diciembre: hoy la EC del runoff alcanzó los 12EC, mañana se harán más disparos de riego para bajar la EC del sustrato. Hoy también se realizó una defoliacion agresiva + Lollipop, para que haya mejor penetración de luz en el Canopy y mejor flujo de aire. Queda solo una semana de riego Generativo, después de eso se vuelve al riego vegetativo para engordar los cogollos.

Esta semana realizamos mantenimientos y riegos de prevención con jabon potaneem y tierra de diatomeas. También usamos safermix unos dias Despues. También se inició el programa de nutrición para vegetativo, daremos una semana más y realizaremos el transplante a su maceta final, también una semana más o dos e iniciamos la flora con estas bebés. Y esta semana agregamos una genetica más que fue obsequio, limonario de blacktuna 😛 vamos adelante con este ciclo variado!!

My second girl is really having a rough time coping with hot temperatures. Summer is really hot where I'm from. It's about 40 outside.. and it's gonna get worse with heatwaves soon.I had been turning on my AC lately but ones I turn it off temp goes up in 10 minutes.. I tried putting ice buckets next to the opening vents in my tent.. but it didn't seem too make a big difference. I added another small fan inside the tent and big fan outside in the room for more cool air circulation. I just hope I can make my girl survive till the end. The buds are still getting bigger and the smell increases with days. Leafs started to die off tho and some started lose colour or get crispy. There's so much leafs that I can't even defoliatiate them all and don't want to touch the buds a lot to ruin them.LOOK AT HER THO SHE IS A BEAST! 🖤🖤👽 I've heard that with heat your pH goes down even if you gave her the correct one. So I think I've got that problem because I calibrate my pH meter every time I use it to avoid problems with pH. Will see in the future...she've got another 2 weeks I'm assuming. Gonna check trichomes in a few days, last time I checked they just started to get milky. I hate summer and heat 😭 it was doing all well before it got soo hot 👿👿🙏💪💪👀👀 oh well Cya next week with an update.

I have spent the last week studying how to use COB led efficiently. On my last grow I just whacked them straight up to "11" and hoped for the best. This grow I intend to change track and try and use the least amount of light possible to get the best results. To be fair my light is way over spec for my 60x60 tent. I want to use the dimmer to lower the intensity of the light to more than adequately match the needs of my space. Then I can use the over head of light intensity that I have as the grow progresses into flower. I would enjoy any comments or feedback any advice is good advice in my opinion.

Finally harvested

This lady has been Transplanted on day 39 since she was planted (may 10th) and I've prepared the 15L pot with the complete line of biotabs using 2 spoons of startrex for every 5L, sprinkled a couple of grams of mycotrex on the transplant hole before putting the plant and then I added 3 slow release tabs one biotab for every 5L of soil, so that's why in this case I added 3, after the Transplant was done I immediately watered the plant with 1ml/L of orgatrex and 1g/L of bactrex, I hope you guys enjoy my work this season!!

Como ha mostrado a lo laargo de estas semanas y meses, algo fuera de lo comun y en floracion no se queda atras. El color y grosor de tallos ya esta demas decir lo bien que andan, el olor (que es algo caracteristico de esta etapa de la planta) es muy fuerte y frutal. Estos pre-cogollos tienen una produccion de resina que esperemos se mantenga hasta el final....
