22.12 • Cal/mag deficit looks solved, plants look healthy 23.12 • last watering was 1L / Pot right after repoting on 20.12 , right now soil feels moist 25.12 • added a bio CO2 reactor (4x 1L bottles with 800ml water, some mashed tomato and 100g sugar, 10g moist yeast) 25.12 • rotated one of the lights to maximize illumination 26.12 • watered all plants with 1L 26.12 • CO2 ppm went up from +-400 to +-600 i hope for some more as i increased room temperature to 26°C, (yeast should react more due to increased temp.) 27.12 • sunburn as the lights were under 30cm distance 27.12 • CO2 wasn't working when i arrived this evening, perhaps i used too much yeast, perhaps it was too cold, perhapy i need bigger bottles...either way: i removed 3/4 from the bottles and refilled water/sugar/tomato

We have reached the first harvest, I do not mark it as harvested because the other one is still going and will be harvested in 7 - 10 days. Here we are with our Blue Cheese F1 Hybrid by Zamnesia, it was the first to be harvested in just 59 days, born in fact on September 1st, all of it was harvested on October 30th, not bad at all. The flowers are really beautiful, excellent resin, skunky scent as we like it a little gray, as soon as we smell skunk we fly into the past, far from indie and commercial music and with generic nostalgic references. Here with a smell of skunk we teleport to the coffee shops of Amsterdam in the late 90s. It often happens to me when I smell the flavors and smells of the first super herbs I smoked. With Skunk and derivatives more than anything. And then with Cheese which is precisely a derivative and with Bubblegum I go straight back to that coffee shop. The amount of grass is average, the plant is not very tall, about 90 cm and has been cleaned underneath, the largest is 100 cm, it will give us a lot of grass, the phenotypes are slightly different despite being f1 but at least two phenotypes seem obvious to me, we must grant them, mom and dad. I did a big flush but the plant arrived a bit green anyway, I had exaggerated in pumping a bit and I anticipated the harvest by about a week when I saw my jars almost empty. Let's be clear, we are still at an excellent amount of mature pistils, about 75%, and as for trichomes we are a bit amber, mostly cloudy and also some transparent still. But whatever, we are ready anyway. Sorry I didn't update yesterday. Been bending limbs down to keep a consistent height. Using LST and HST this time. Soon I'll be identifying which branches from which plants will make the final cut. I've been very rough on these plants and they all continue to thrive. But I've noticed a clear distinction between some that are fast growing and some that are slow growing, under the exact same care. Since this is a relatively new breed I'll be interested in how they differ at harvest. I'm noticing most of my challenge now is to get the branches all at a consistent height for the switch at the ScrOG net. The challenge is not among individual branches, but among slower and faster growing plants. This would be much easier if I had a way to raise or lower whole plants in the grow. Not likely in a hydro setup, water seeking its level and all.

Ok so this week I did a defoliation and a tigh down too the netting , I really was not planning on doing such a big defoliation but the leafs became thick and dense and there was almost no light penitration down too the lower branches of the plant , so she is opened right up now and the humidity and temperature has dropped loads and the air is moving alot better around the leaves and branches , I will not take anything more off her now , I have also added Cal mag too the nutrients for this week only , she is well into pre flower now but the stretch has not yet started so I figured it's no or never too defoliate and tigh them down , this grill really has grown right out this week and is unrecognisable from the plant just a few days ago , I am very happy with them so far and being new too all this it's all very exciting , Thanks for looking :)

This week Went very uneventful. Reduced the fertilizer down to 600ppm and flushed twice on Wednesday and Thursday, on Wednesday I still had 100ppm in the tank after the second flush it went down to 0. Kept her in darkness until Friday night and then started chopping her down.

The buds are becoming massive and very dense. I have a lot of clear and milky trichromes at the moment I give it another week or two and I’ll be chopping her down. Praying for two or more oz.

More Fantastic Grow News! They have been still doing great and developing the flowers and buds - I am VERY happy with how everything has been turning out! When opening the tent you are immediately hit with the subtle smell of maturing, ripening ganja - Each flower has a mixture of white hairs, orange hairs and an incredible amount of frosty leaves and trichomes. I notice that my Cherry Gorilla x Sol Sonic #2 is sprouting the red hairs faster than the rest - I hope she can hold off until the rest of the girls are completely finished! The Cal-Mag seems to be working - I am noticing dark, dark green leaf color right next to the biggest buds - I am guessing that this is the Cal-Mag doing its thing. I see that the leaves that were damaged from the deficiency are slowly turning back, however I feel as it is this far along, the plants are most likely focusing on the flowers rather than the leaves - which seems to be what I wanted. The dark color next to the buds give me hope it was a good remedy. When touching each of the flowers, you are left with a VERY sticky, leftover goo than stays on your fingers. Each flower smells extremely distinct - which is somewhat unexpected. This just goes to show you the power of phenotypes! These seeds came from the same dispensary bag, and each one seems to be just a little different. You can especially see what I am talking about from the Macro shots I took this week - look at the descriptions for the full breakdown. Wish me luck! Shake Back - Compound Genetics Week 9 Bloom Apologies for the infrequent updates, I've been away and dealing with family matters. 🌸 I still can't get over how well she performed in a 5L pot, you'd think she was in a 16L almost! She has matured really well and is days away from harvest; her pisitils have all dried and taken an amber colour, her trichomes have all turned milky white and her leaves have darkened with yellow and reddish undertones on the fan leaves. Her scent is fresh green apples with a heavy gas/diesel lining. A couple more days and she should be ready for harvest 👍🏻 ✂️ No work performed on her since week four of bloom, she hasn't required it 🙏🏻 💧 Watered via automatic drip irrigation every four days with 2L of RO water - nutrients were mixed individually, in order and then finally pH'd to 6.3. For the last two weeks, she has been getting a very small amount of fertilizer, forcing her to use any stored nutrients that she has been building up. 💡 PPFD: ~1000 ♒ VPD: 1.64kPa 🌱 Days from seed: 125 🌸 Days in Bloom: 64
