Alaskan Purple is growing great. She is in mid bulking under the Medic Grow Mini Sun-2. She is developing some big colas. She has a fruity smell as well. She is eating and drinking a lot daily. Looking good beside some minor ph rises. I have addressed it and added more bloom booster to help stabilize the ph daily. Hopefully everything stays on track, and might get a awesome finish. 👉The final dry weight, which was 369g (13oz) is just buds, no trim or larf. Just Good big buds. Great plant overall. Had a phosphorus issue that lingered, it foxtailed at the end and in the last day hermie bitz appeared on almost every branch end cola. Sturdy branches, lots of food factories. Wonderful aroma that wasn't as stanky as most. Spend 4 hours trimming. Started at the bottom and worked my way up. I put the end cola of each branch on its own label clothes pin and hung on a rack. Each cola was weighed wet and cataloged. after 24 hrs I started putting each cola in a paper bag and the net buds in a larger bag. It took 5 days to reduce the dry weight to under 30%. When they hit this mark they went into the jars which were labeled according to their documented location. I figured the weigh reduction percentage by comparing weighs from the initial wet trimmed weight. In each jar I also added a hygrometer. Surprisingly the RH of almost ever jar was under 58%. None of the jars required any burping to remove excess humidity. At that point I added moisture 62% moisture packs and put the jars in the closet. I sampled bud J till this writing. It didn't start getting tasty till the 4 week mark.

Esta fue la novena semana de flora. Para ser mas específicos, hoy 25/07/2020, es el día 126 desde la germinación y el día 60 desde que la planta mostró los pistilos blancos y comenzó a florar. Creo que no falta nada para cosecharla, probablemente en los próximos días, ya que todos los tricomas están blancos, y muy muy poquitos están color ámbar. Si bien la semana anterior dije que esperaría a tener el 20% de los tricomas ámbar, esta planta en particular mostró una maduración muy pareja, que no había visto nunca, asi que es muy probable que corte en lo próximos días, con un 5-10% de tricomas ámbar. Esta semana solo regué con agua sin cloro y con un poco de melaza. Si bien para los fermentados que utilizo para alimentarlas no es necesario hacer lavado de raíces, creo que siempre viene bien sobre el final regar solo con agua y dejar que el suelo haga lo suyo. Nicely purple

Hey Growers, Day 1 of Week 10 Two ladys harvested today you can see in fotos how they look in my opinion Amazing Hahah (but im the father lol). Purple one its like a mix of exótic fruits The orange one its like a a cream of a fruit. Both seens very sweet!! Soon i Will share strains!! The another two ladys more sativas i think , looks like they need around more 10 days lets us see. The taller one smeels like gasy citrus, And the another one its a mix of strwaberry And another touch that I dont discover yet. Thank you all. Nice week 4 everybody!! _GrF_

All in all a great genetic. Grew into insane colas. The photos above are of only half the total yeild as I have 8oz bagged up and sealed. After a weeks curing it has improved but not enough to really blow me away. I'll be back to seek my revenge in the future but for now its goodbye.

the strain is really strong , low temperatures resist , 3 weeks around 12/16º graus and steell growing wel nice new colos between week 4/6 in flowering. really good strain to manipulate! 5 stars * * * * *

Woche 6 --- Sie stretcht sich ordentlich. Momentan verschiebe ich nur die Lampe nach oben und fülle den Wassertank auf. Letzte Woche hat sie ca 9 Liter verbraucht. Quick kush is called quick for a reason 👌, nice big indica leaves starting to grow and stretch pretty fast, i had to re pot one of the girls so one of them might look a bit sad but she will get better (its the salts) Flushing and Buffering- I am personally using Canna Coco Coir,mix with one brick of plagron coco coir(had one left). 1. Why you Should buffer your Coco. Lets get to reading! (Its Worth it for those that dont know about it) There are cation exchange sites in coco that will interfere with nutrition until they are buffered. The cation exchange sites in coco naturally come loaded with sodium (Na) and potassium (K) cations. However, the Na and the K are only weakly held to the exchange sites. In the presence of calcium (Ca) or magnesium (Mg), the sites will release their Na or K cations and lock onto the Ca or Mg. These processes are known as “cation exchanges”. Buffering coco is accomplished by soaking it in Ca and Mg. This allows the cation exchanges to take place prior to adding plants. Simply soak your coco in a solution of Cal/Mag water and the exchange sites will release their K and Na cations and lock onto the Ca and Mg. When the cation exchange sites bond with Ca and Mg rather than Na and K, it is “buffered”. The bonds that hold the Ca and Mg to the sites are very strong and cation exchange will largely stop. This means that all of the nutrients that you add to the water will be available to the plant at the ratios that you provide them. 2. Alot of growers Grow in Unbuffered coco coir and its a big mistake guys, I myself was a "victim"😬of unbuffered coco and it does cause alot of problems... now i am going to try and fix them! -----GROWING IN UNBUFFERED COCO--- Many growers are unaware of the need to buffer the coco and they try to grow plants in unbuffered coco. In unbuffered coco, the cation exchange sites will strip the nutrient solution of the Ca and Mg and replace those cations with Na and K. This creates a sub-optimal Nutrient Element Ratio (NER) and renders Ca and Mg unavailable to the plant. Failing to buffer the coco is why so many growers suffer calcium deficiencies in coco grows. Manufacturers of prepared coco products try to exploit these problems and convince growers that only their proprietary products are suitable for growing. However, it is actually very simple to properly buffer your coco yourself. This tutorial walks you through the process and provides all the information you need to turn even the cheapest brick of dehydrated coco into a superior growing medium. Getting bigger and bigger, I’m expecting big yields off the ScrOGed plant. The plant in the big tent is beginning to fatten up, especially the bud that was pollinated... both are still shooting new pistils everyday. The mother plant was cut around day 70 but I’m thinking these could go further than that, only time will tell!

She’s almost done. AT this point I have 30% amber tricks I’m looking to get it in between 40% And 50% so I’m going to keep checking everyday until I get it just where I want it.

Another wonderful week. Recovery from the topping has been superb. She has grown quite a lot. As of 5/2/21 she will be leaving the veg tent and moving to the bloom tent where she will spend the next 8.5 weeks with another plant, Cotton Candy. The tent received an upgrade to a third TS1000 for the 2 plants. Hope is enough for now.
