Day 36 (2020-06-14): Changed out the reservoir today with fresh 5.6 PH. I am trying adding in an ice pack each day to keep res temps closer to 68F. I think this should help the algae growth I am still fighting. Day 37 (2020-06-15): Stretching in full effect. Topped off the reservoir with another gallon since so much was consumed overnight. PH at 5.65 Day 38 (2020-06-16): Officially off the Blumats. They have really turned out to be more trouble than its worth in my opinion. I've spent just as much time fiddling with them (probably a lot more!) and the reservoir as I would have just hand watering. Maybe better for larger grows. Hand watering out the rest of the current reservoir. Did some accidental major defoliation. Kind of a "whoops" moment, just wasn't paying attention to how much I was pulling off! The G14 really needed it bad though. Due to its mutant nature it seems much more leafy as there a lot of "two headed" growth patterns with double the veg as compared to normal. Day 39 (2020-06-17): Things are looking OK after the Blumat switch and mass defoliation. Day 40 (2020-06-18): Watered today, 5.8 PH, 50% Pre-Flower Megacrop around 1/2 gallon each plant, but about 25% of that was runoff. Day 41 (2020-06-19): Watered, around 1/4 gallon each @ 5.75 PH. Did some LST to even things out. G14 canopy is a bit taller than the CBD but not sure what I can do about it at this point. Out of room in the tent to widen things out much more! I might slide a brick under the CBD to raise it to keep even lighting. Day 42 (2020-06-20): Watered again, 5.8 PH. I raised the CBD Crack so the canopy is even with the G14.

Still slow going but the weather has improved so that’s great. No sign of any bud rot thankfully 😅. A lot of other outdoor growers are having problems and I have had some on other plants.

Mild flushes last week. Day 54/ Day 1 of Flowering. Fed and light defoliation.

DAY 49 : Another week passes and these 2 ladies are still up for the fight to another week. Banana is still struggling g in the middle and cant seem to get ahead. She smells beautiful up close but is sadly not a great competitor so far. What she does have in buds is smelling nice and they are fairly solid to touch , just not a big plant really. Monster Zkittelz on the other hand is a beast of plant . I Have been pulling lowers up to the light this week and she is so covered in secondary growth with nice sized , glistening buds that smell candy sweet . Grows very like GG in her thin arms and bigger buds but with a scrog net this strain would produce so well. I am not disappointed in her in any way. Another week and let's see where she is at then.

91 Grapes day 80; Well for a plant that is supposed to grow a 65 day from sprout she still has some time left to finish. Buds are stacking in true chem91 fashion super dense and chunky but the smell is nothing short of downright grapes, it’s the same smell of grape koolaid when you tear into a package, or a grape pixie stick. Trichomes are getting thick and buds are covered in the grape residue not complaining mind you. She is showing signs of some sort of illness, or nutrient imbalance but she is in mid to late stage of flower development so just going to water her and see what happens, let her grow.

All is going well and are now in pre flower.

End of week 7 for DL1/2 and E4. Start of flowering for E/1/2/3! I flipped those girls 3 days ago. Will be transplanting DL1/2 and E4 today after I post this update, so next week's update will have the start of flower for those girls as well! DL1 especially is showing her hunger, so it's definitely time to transplant! We pushed it out a few days longer than I'd have liked, but it's ok. We're looking good overall. The Eucalypti (1/2/3 especially) are looking insanely healthy. They seem to have taken to their new soil well and are loving the silicore supplement from Solfire that I've worked into the waterings. Can't wait until I can buy more of this silicore stuff. The sample won't last me long lol. In about 10 days, I'll do a heavy defoliation on E/1/2/3 and check for herms/sacs; then another, lighter defoliation 2 weeks later around week 4 of flower. Smooth sailing after that. Haven't seen any signs of sacs in the preflowers, but we'll see what we get in a couple weeks. I'm not even close to the best grower in the world, but I definitely feel like I've found a great recipe for success. This might've been the least amount of LST I've ever done on plants to get ~10-12 tops per plant, which is usually my goal. I would love to find a keeper pheno in a grow sometime and keep one giant mother plant, or even just train one plant in my 3x3 and fill the whole thing out. But for now, I'll keep going with three in the 3x3 lol. Should be another great harvest when all is said and done; fingers crossed no major issues. Humidity and temp will be my biggest challenges this summer. I likely will have to contend with 60+% humidity in flower. It's gonna suck. But we're going to persevere...somehow.

apenas 1 das que estavam na tela de SCROG conseguiu sustentar até essa semana mesmo com problema de PH do solo, as outras 3 tive que colher na semana passada, a descoloração das folhas já começando a indicar que o fim está próximo, pouquíssimos tricomas ambar, cheiro maravilhoso!

Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. It started off looking like a good week and then things turned and I was having major issues starting to show near the end of the week!! I could tell that lowering the PPM was a good thing and was showing some signs of improvement. Things were not as crispy and I was keeping up with the Nute, Water, Water feed with lowered PPM to around 840 on the Nute feeding days. They were drinking lots this week every other day I was watering/feeding. But near the end of the week things started to turn for the worse. The Purple Kush fan leaves were starting to turn yellow and the Cheese was starting to get crispy again. Pretty much all smells were gone at this point and the plants were just not looking alive and healthy. I was removing lots of burnt/crisp fan leaves cause they were not looking good. I decided at this point to raise my lights as high as they could go and hope that my issues were caused by the lights being to close.
