Eternity Grow Cup - Week 9 Veg Update We are stepping into Week 9 of vegetation, and things are getting exciting! The plants are thriving—compact, bushy, and growing beautifully. This week, we introduced a SCROG (Screen of Green) net, an essential tool for maximizing yield and optimizing plant structure. Let’s dive deep into the why and how of scrogging: Why Install a SCROG Net Now? Maximizes Light Exposure: The net allows even light distribution across all branches, ensuring every bud site gets the optimal amount of light. Controls Plant Height: By guiding the branches through the net, we keep the canopy even and prevent excessive vertical growth. Enhances Airflow & Reduces Mold Risks: Spreading the plant out increases air circulation, reducing humidity pockets and minimizing risks of mold and pests. Increases Yield: More bud sites exposed to light mean higher-quality flowers and greater overall production. For now, we’re still not using the under-canopy lights, though they will come into play soon. The ICL 300 is positioned strategically, and we will likely move them around as needed later. For now, the focus is on structuring the plants and ensuring they fill out the available space properly. Optimizing Airflow - The Vortex Effect Air circulation is crucial for plant health, and this week, we’ve optimized airflow by positioning the fans to create a vortex effect: Fan Positioning: Each fan is placed at the tent corners, pointing in different directions, ensuring dynamic airflow instead of direct wind hitting the plants. Benefits of a Vortex System: Reduces hot spots and evenly distributes CO₂. Strengthens stems by creating a natural resistance. Prevents stagnant air, reducing mold and pest risks. The extraction system is powered by an AeroFan, connected to the AeroFan Smart Remote FRC1, currently running at 60% speed. This setup efficiently manages humidity and temperature while maintaining optimal air exchange. Current Environmental Conditions & Feeding For now, we’re maintaining the same water schedule and nutrient regimen. The environmental conditions remain stable: Temperature: Holding steady at ideal growth levels. Relative Humidity: Balanced to encourage healthy transpiration. PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density): Kept at optimal levels to support vigorous vegetative growth. CO₂ Levels: Elevated but within safe limits, promoting faster growth. The plants are filling the space beautifully, but we know that the flip to flower is approaching soon! Hey yall. Well só far this week not much not much Just SS is streching a bit and really getting into flowering shape . .

Still growing like a beast. I did raise the light a little. I feel like the taller one that got fed BLOOM at the beginning of the week is a bit darker green than the other one. It also showed a slight amount of possible N burn/deficiency on a couple of leaves. Everything else is looking great. I did try to adjust some of the tie downs a little to open her up a bit more

So, my "Skunk" puppies are always curious to see what I am doing when I am gardening. They are mischievous and would destroy my plants if I didn't have a fence around them. Miss Skunk grew 4 inches this week! And my two new branches grew a lot, too. I took a picture of my hand behind one of the lateral growths. I think it is doing very well. They grew about 1 inch this week. I started nutrients this week.

6 week of flowering

Lots of growth this week. They have all been in 2-gallon Pots and I have transferred them all to 5-gallon pots yesterday. All are doing very well. All have started Cal-Mag and Mystic Dream Blood Root.

March 7, 2019 update: These babies are doing great! I plan on transplanting 6 plants and moving them into the flowering room this weekend. As of right now my plan is to move 1 DinaMed CBD, 1 Medi Kush CBD and 4 Cherry Hemp plants into flower. I'm going to pick the largest/most developed plants for the move. Then I'll keep the rest in veg for another month, next month I'll pick the next 6. I'd like to get the plants on a monthly rotation so I can be harvesting monthly.

Lemon tree can endure pain, cold & hot weather, seedling is really a strong genetic, huge root mass for 2 week seedling, now I'm using Biobizz soil + dry leaves on top from past harvest

It started small: a couple of darker spots noticed deep inside one of the colas. Upon closer inspection, we confirmed it — Botrytis cinerea, or as growers call it, bud rot. Thankfully, it was localized and quickly handled, removing all affected material carefully to avoid spreading spores. Despite how dramatic macro photos can make it look, the loss was minimal. The rest of the canopy remains healthy, strong, and radiant under the LEDs. The girls keep thriving like the true champions they are. ⸻ 🧠 Educational Spotlight – What Is Bud Rot (and What It Isn’t) Bud rot is a fungal infection caused by Botrytis cinerea. It thrives in warm, humid, stagnant environments — the kind of microclimate that can form in thick buds during late flower. It usually begins inside the bud, invisible at first, and works its way outward, leaving behind a grayish-brown, dusty rot that can ruin entire flowers if unnoticed. Went away for seven days had a friend come by and water the garden Absolutely exploded since I’ve seen them last very pleased with all of the plants except for mystery auto number one. It is disappointing me some but hopefully the top will bring more growth. Can’t wait to see these continued to develop!!!

I’ll soon harvest a few of these girls at day 78 and let the 2 bushier ones grow a bit longer.They smell great and loaded with cloudy trichomes :)

This grow was pretty simple ! They went a total of 103 days from seed! Very trichomy dense buds with the smell of Berries vanilla and skunk ! This is a must try for you all Fastbuds has the greats!!!

From the looks of it. I am in early stages of root rot. Plant is not growing as fast as it was at all. It can be a few things. Light penetration into the bucket. My water temps are around 70f. So I think that's okay. I had some extra mylar from a grow I did years ago. Cut pieces to go over the kids hopefully that helps. I took out all additives besides CalMag. They were fouling the rez as usual. Dropping the Ph as usual. I think it's also the cause of the root rot. I have sprayed soaked with h202 and have added it to the reservoir after a cleaning and a water change. Looks a bit better. I'm located in Canada and I cannot find hydroguard anywhere. Which kinda sucks. Any alternatives would be great. Thanks
