Final painting and floor trim completed. Walls are white and bright. I started to construct the main flood table. It is made of 2x3's and a sheet of chipboard. I fastened some rails at the perimeters and used caulking to seal all gaps. I will coat the face of the chipboard with a polyurea flat roof coating to make it completely watertight. Week 22 Since I've removed the last Biotab the leaves have slowly start to turn more and more yellow. The buds are in the final stage of hardening out as you can see on the photos. In the beginnings of my grow adventures I was always focused on the percentage of orange to white pistils to determine their ripeness now I'm looking for that greyish look as if they suddenly turned into solid fruits that differentiate from the rest of the branch. For the last days I could mostly put my light on 100% strength. And even the difference in bud density between now (day 152) and yesterday is quite amazing.

I lowered the lights to 84cm, use spray to water the plants, increased the humidity to 65%, added a bit of soil and increased the light schedule to 19h. Hope it can speed up the grow

- Day 71 I increased the height from the lamp a bit further trying to get about 600-700 ppfd across the canopy, just to help her finish and prevent trichomes from degrading into CBD too fast. Hopefully She will be ready to cut down this week. Day 72 Still seeing a lot of clear trichomes, think we gonna be waiting for a while still. 😅 There's quite a few white pistils node still as well, which makes me believe she is still not done swelling.

Added yellow sticky fly traps to all cubes as a preventative measure to avoid infestation of fungus gnats. So far none have been spotted. Defoliated and did a little more LST to all the plants to open up the center and give more light to lower shoots. Blue Dream 3 and Chemdawg 3 started showing some discoloration on the leaves (yellowing around the veins) and also the leaf tips curling down. Did some research and came up with this... Possible diagnosis: - Yellowing around leaf veins could be a sign of Magnesium or Iron deficiency - Leaf tip curling down could be a sign of Nitrogen Toxicity. - Both could be caused by improper ph balance in water Possible solutions: - Applied Botanicare CalMag+ as a foliar feed and added some to the reservoir. CalMag+ contains Calcium, Magnesium and Iron. - Diluted nutrients in reservoir to lower amount of nitrogen being fed to plants. Was feeding them at 1300ppm, lowered it to 1050ppm - Tested runoff and saw it was coming out at 5.4pH so I increased the pH in the reservoir to 6.0. Now the runnoff is testing at 5.7pH, meaning that my rootzone is in the optimal range of 5.5-5.8 Well wait and see how the plants react to these slight tweaks. Hopefully we start to see a nice healthy even green again.

The heat wave has just passed, after 15 days of hell no serious problems to report just some critter bites. Very high tolerance of heat. She's doing very well, in full stretching and according to RQS's data sheet now is the tallest among sisters. What a smell! Stay safe Bros

Spread this girl out a bit using some string and mild LST. She's responded super well and all the bud sites seem to be getting a nice dose from the TS1000 :) Bit late uploading this week but the pictures were taken back on Tuesday meaning this is still an accurately dated upload.

I am loving the Genetics from FAST BUDS! The quality is fantastic! But the hardiness of their plant's is great!!! This young girl has copped some abuse! During my training of her, I have gotten quite rough on many occasions, not on purpose! But accidentally breaking branches e.t.c. However I tape her up with some tape & she comes good after a while. I've found that as long as their is still some of the branch intact, she will mend herself & I've had branches that were broken through more than 3 quarters the way! Just wrap some tape around it to hold it together & it ends up coming good. I've also deliberately been rough with HST, squashing branches, pinching to strengthen stems. Damaging & squashing branches to get the shape & direction I'm after. I actually go around & lightly pinch ( squash ) all new branching to thicken & strengthen them! It works very well. So yeah they are very hardy plants & at the end of the day they are a weed!!!
