I always find it hard to say how much water they are taking because the whole auto pot thing. It would be more useful to maybe have an option to be able to change the unit because it would be way easier for me to say how much water has been put in the res during the week - sometimes even that’s hard to remember for me! Aaaaanyway, things are going fine in the grow - I turned down the light just a tiny bit as the pistols were showing signs of having too much light and they were just looking a little bleached out, so I turned down the light to around 80-90% as well as I think I raised it a little bit also. It’s much harder keeping everything stable in such a small space when I am used to having a room to use but oh well, it is what it is - I am really lucky / stupid to be doing this one, however, I also went into the grow knowing I may have to kill her at any moment - dependant upon visits etc. I know photo growers always say there is no difference in speed between autos and photos but there is a couple of weeks in it most of the time - at the very least. I tried it, my last proper grow I selected all fairly fast flowering photos (not those photos that have been bred with autos to make them quick but just generally fast flowering plants) and it still took longer than my longest auto has taken and it annoyingly Hermes so had to turn into hash coz it was super annoying.) but that’s all in the past now… So I haven’t had to resort to using my AC yet but I did get a 1/4 of the price knocked off because it doesn’t work with the app properly and that’s basically what it was sold on! Don’t go to klarstein, people! She’s def been stretching for sure but I remember this being a really squat plant anyway and I have also trained it in a bit of an odd manner so that it grew outwards with a flatter canopy - I wouldn’t top in future. I don’t really know why I did - maybe because I always have (for the most part) but I think she’d have grown taller and had bigger side branching if I hadn’t but having said that it is pretty much impossible to tell! Unless you do an A/B test - which I obviously don’t have room for! In the next week I am hoping to see her get really hairy and hoping to have to attach a carbon filter - as that would mean she’s happy and I’m going to get some dank. With regards to expected harvest - I genuinely have no idea. She averages at around 2.5z/plant going on the info put into grow diaries and that it about what I got last time - I don’t think I ever weighed it tbh coz I grew it just to turn into rosin. Having said that, it is a totally different set up and the first time I am using this light, so I’m not sure of the capabilities of what is probably a 120-140w light - now I have dimmed it down. I mean, I guess if she was starved for light I wouldn’t have had to turn it down so I’m confident it can produce sticky buds. I will also turn it up to full power in the last couple weeks. She’s meant to be a 10 week or 70 day strain - and I hope that is true because I am going on holiday in early July so I can’t have her going on and on and on. She will have to be cut when she will have to be cut - and maybe hung whilst I am away with the ability to control the environment over Wi-Fi (and probably a camera). Iv just looked at dates and actually she can go on for 13 weeks and so it is all good - she should still be drying by the time I go there and should be ready for me when I get back - I’ll be doing a dry trim as I always do just because it slows down the drying process even more - although actually to be fair the main reason I used to do that was I didn’t have seperate climate control for drying and couldn’t use the tent as was on a perpetual grow. This time I’ll be able to set it tov 60%/60f and hopefully keep it there for a full couple of weeks. Obviously I get rid of big the fan leaves and also chop it into smaller branches but other than that I prefer to do it all dry - saves your choppers for one thing!

These last two weeks I had trobles taking care of her because I was never home and it kept raining, but she stayed strong and her flowers are nearly ready, I'm guessing another week. I love how she's so small but with these enormous frlowers (in proportion to the plant). I still struggled with the mite infection, so I need to continue with neem oil, knowing it will effect the final taste. Nothing else to do though, I prefer a bad taste than smoking insects

Esta semana he doblegado la rama más alta para igualar el dosel, la planta ha comenzado la pre flora y no espero más crecimiento, el tamaño final va a ser fantástico para mi porque voy a poder alumbrarla desde el sustrato hasta la copa con luces intensas, voy a continuar esta semana con las luces blancas de crecimiento, y la semana que viene haré un cambio drástico de todos los paneles led laterales, los sustituiré por otros con temperaturas de color más cálidas, además, voy a reforzar el dosel con otras dos lámparas, una con diodos de 2700K+660nm (50w) y un COB de 2800K con lente (50w), no quiero ningún rincón de la carpa a oscuras! 💡💡💡💡💡 Los riegos de esta planta, durante las dos últimas semanas, así como de todas las demás plantas han sido con poca concentración y con componentes destinados fortalecer la planta y a la inoculación de Microorganismos para la descomposición acelerada de materia orgánica del sustrato, así como la disolución de los minerales también presentes en el sustrato, se trata de no sobrealimentar, en esta etapa de transición, con Fertilizantes solubles y promover por última vez, la expansión de las raíces, que dejarán de crecer cuando la planta entre de lleno en floración, en el momento que claramente deje la planta de crecer y dirija toda la energía a la formación de flores empezará el gran juego, una segunda parte muy intensa y con momento bellísimos, la floración es el momento donde se requiere mucha variedad de minerales, más que en crecimiento vegetativo, por lo tanto la alimentación que tengo preparada para esta etapa va a ser muy variada... todo por la causa! SATURDAY 9/21: After having had my entire rig and all my cured produce stolen from me by my pardner in crime, I'm starting from scratch. (That f**king asshole!) Special thanks to the fabulous folks at Fastbuds for sending me some replacement beans!!! I mylar'ed up a closet and got a little light to get them started with. It's 3500k with some extra 660nm and draws about 200w from the wall. I am going old-school this time around..no pre-soak and no paper towels. I bought some soluble myco + tricho + all the good beneficial bacteria and mixed a little into a liter of distilled water and wetted rapid rooter plugs. I planted all three Stardawg beans in the rapid rooter plugs and put them in a little humidome under 9w of pink light. TUESDAY 9/24: All three emerged with no problems, but one is still wearing a "hat".. THURSDAY 9/26: All three had taproots sticking out a few inches, so I planted them in their 3 gallon pots and put little mini-domes over them. FRIDAY 9/27: I knew better than to try to start some seedlings with no humidifier, but the asshole stole mine, so I tried it anyway..I have several seedlings that probably aren't gonna make it, but so far all 3 x Stardawgs look fine. I wet them down and put some trays of water in the closet to try and bring up the RH. TUESDAY 10/1: Okay, so only one survived, and she's starting to grow.👍 My soil mix was too hot for them...rookie mistake... I finished working on my homemade frame and mounted 6 x 120w quantum boards to it, but one of my 3 x 240w drivers failed, so I gotta get a replacement sometime in the next few weeks. I still gotta get my ventilation squared away before I can even run them.😎 FRIDAY 10/4: She's my lone Fastbuds plants..got high hopes for her. She'll be surrounded by a bunch of Candy Cane hybrids.

09.07.24 Wir haben jetzt 6 Wochen Blüte hinter uns. So langsam geht es auf die Zielgerade „Ernte“ zu. Die Große zeigt schon seit letzter Woche Mangelerscheinungen und doch hab ich wie von Anfang an beschlossen nur mit dem Living Soil und Wasser zu Arbeiten, ganz nach dem Motto von Florganics „Flo & H2O“ Ausserdem ist Blütetag 43 und somit werden die letzten Störenden Blätter entfernt für den Endspurt.

Harvest on Day 95

This is the 5th ILGM OG kush I've grown, the first I've tried to top. Now I know that I topped about 2 or 3 nodes to soon. But what I know from the other og's I've grown, buds will be fat and sticky and from the looks of her she is going to be all bud!!

Flowers started showing up this week. Flowers forming on nodes. Did a flush this week for 3 days straight with RO water and CalMag+ to 250ppm and 5.8PH.

Wish I hadn't neglected the plant earlier I could've gotten a better harvest but the quality of the smoke and the high is top notch, no complaints about the final product and definitely growing her this summer.
