Week 8 saw the plant stack on some very nice starter buds. I can already see where the colas will stack and fill out to form lovely nuggets by the end of the run. They look to be dense already which is always a great sign! Weather here in OK has been vacillating between overcast rainy days and full sun not-a-cloud-in-the-sky weather so she has spent an equal amount of time under an HID as she did the sun since the last update. Usually she is outdoors from 11am to sundown and then I move her inside under the HID for night hours. She gets a four hour lights off in early morning before setting her back out in time to catch the noon sun. It seems to have worked pretty well splitting her time in this way and I feel a lot better about it than if I just let her spend 24/7 outside. I feel her auto genetics would not benefit from the extra dark time associated with a pure outdoor run. She already doesn't get full sun for the entirety of her time outside due to trees and other houses blocking sun during certain parts of the day. This seems to be a nice balance but I realize it doesn't qualify as a true outdoor run. Still doing daily checks for aphids and other undesirables as Oklahoma has lots of them that can devastate a plant in a matter of days if not monitored closely. I keep her a good distance from my other outdoor plants and she never touches the ground. So far so good. I did lollipop her toward the middle of this week and proceeded the next day with aggressive defoliation to open up light penetration to the rest of the mid-section. As always, the cultivar responded well to my interference. I am seeing some rusty spots on otherwise green leaves and some very light yellowing of the plant overall. I hit her with another dose of nutrients and some recharge to hopefully correct. Not sure what the rusty spots are; hoping just some pH flux that will be easy to correct. left the girls to settle into their new environment. Have been watering every 4 days or so, not much rain this week. Plants are looking good and showing some signs of leaf growth which means the roots have already branched out. Chitosal as a root drench is supposed to help with drought tolerance and salt stress, no salt stress here as we are organic. Next week things to do: 1) spread and re-stake plants. 2) create a top amendment feeding and watering bowl under each plant with some chicken wire.

Good start to the week, of course it's only been the first day. Got the humidity up with a new humidifier and all has been great for a couple days. "Plant Success Revolution: Great White" Is in, so that'll be used once I repot as an inoculant as well as a root dusting. Depending on the growth of the plants over the next couple days to a week, I'll be repotting this week or next week sometime. Updates as they come; of course. - This prior week's timelapse will be up tomorrow. -2/23/2021 Gave a foliar spray of kelp extract right before lights out, the morning of 2/24 I noticed gray/white staining on the leaves where the droplets were. Will keep an eye on it. -2/24/2021 Carl 2 looks to be experiencing a deficiency, perhaps a nitrogen deficiency. Slight yellow mottling of the lower leaves. As with the spots, will keep my eye on it. -2/25/2021 Carl 2 is certainly experiencing what I believe is a nitrogen deficiency. Will be feeding properly next watering. -2/25/2021 Additionally, Carl 2 has definitely been helped by the kelp. It's almost the size of the plant that had been larger before and hadn't been sprayed with the kelp foliar. -2/26/2021 All plants were root drenched with some Great White Mycorrhizae - Should be fun too see how this plays out. The feed concentration in the "nutrients" section is NOT accurate. I put a light dusting into the sprayer. -2/28/2021 - Significant growth from all plants, seems the kelp and the GWM are doing their jobs.

The terpenes are starting to come through. There is a delicious fruity smell pushing through the diesel smell. The leaves are beginning to yellow and I think we are coming to the end. I have some pretty big and sparkly colas coming through. I shut off my red lights on the LEDs to get a good video that shows off that sparkle. Trichomes on the sugar leaves are beginning to turn amber, the rest are almost completely milky. I'm giving it another week before I chop. I do a slow flush at 470ppm with only canna boost, cannazyme, and cal mag. I will be topping off with only phd water this week.
