God save the Queen!! 😍 Otra semana de fácil y satisfactorio cultivo, la planta a parado el crecimiento vegetativo y se esfuerza en la creación de flores, las mismas flores que aparecen a lo largo de todas las ramas y que avanzan una gran cosecha con largas y gruesas colas. Las marcas de carencia de Magnesio que aparecieron la semana pasada son historia después de la aplicación en superficie de Dolomita y sal de epsom y la recuperación, para riegos, del Ormus (Ca, Mg). Durante toda esta semana han habido niveles de humedad relativa muy bajos, alrededor del 30%, y temperaturas altas, he rociado varias veces, las plantas con agua para aumentar la humedad en los armarios, también he activado dos pequeños humificadores y sobre todo he mantenido las plantas muy hidratadas, afortunadamente ayer cambió el clima y ha comenzado a llover con bajada de temperaturas. Como hubo una aparición de arañas en otro cultivo rocié esta planta, también, con jabón potásico. El consumo de agua de este cultivo es muy alto, y en los días secos aumento todavía más, he mantenido y mantengo el sustrato muy hidratado para favorecer la circulación de líquidos, cuidando a la vez la salud de las raíces. Esta semana riegos alternos con nutrientes y otros con agua pura de manantial, preparando las raíces para aumentar las dosis de nutrientes conforme avance la floración. DECODIFICANDO EL CULTIVO 😛 - Día 93. Riego multicomponentes, con Microorganismos de Montaña Activados de forma líquida con minerales y nutrientes NPK al 2,6%, Humato potásico de leonardita que añade ácidos húmicos y fúlvicos, materia orgánica y extra de potasio al 1,5% y melaza para dar energía a los Microorganismos. También he hecho una pre-hidrólisis con la cáscara de camarón, esta vez he hecho una hidrólisis alcalina con KOH, que luego de dos horas añado a la mezcla final y además una disolución en agua, con mucha agitación, de los minerales. Disuelvo todos los elementos y añado levadura de cerveza y fresca para dar comienzo a la fermentación. Coloco en una bolsa de malla los Microorganismos de Montaña Sólidos de mis dos semilleros, donde reúno los Microorganismos (Bacterias de la familia de los Actinomicetos, Levaduras y Hongos (Micorrizas), Microalgas y Protozoarios) de seis bosque vírgenes de mi zona. Cierro el bidón herméticamente con válvula de escape de gases, como estamos en Enero y hace frío he puesto una cinta de calor alrededor del bidón para mantener una temperatura constante de aproximadamente 36°C, de esta manera el preparado puede estar listo en tan sólo 30 días, si fuera el caso de dejarlo a temperatura ambiente el preparado demoraría 2 meses más en estar disponible para uso. La fermentación comenzó a los 60 minutos y se ha alargado durante 25 días sin interrupción. He abierto el bidón a los 45 días, el olor ha fermentado es muy agradable, el color fantástico, algunos Microorganismos se ven prosperando en la superficie, separo medio litro para ir usándolo y cierro el bidón otra vez. Still got some slight burning of leaf tips more so on the right side of the tent. Otherwise, growth is good. Stratiolaelaps scimitus are now abundant in the soil. Pretty neat. GIBBERELLIN: Note: As gibberellic acid is not soluble in water you need to dissolve in alcohol first, Mixed 0.75g Gibberellic Acid 90% with 50ml of 99% Isoprponal alcohol , (Any alcohol will do but a higher % works better) also warmer alcohol helps dissolve the gibberellin. Mixed with 1000ml =1L of distilled water, bringing the concoction to 400ppm. 2000ml = 200ppm etc Every plant has a different threshold required to elicit a response, 400ppm is on the high end of the scale I've read to be careful with dosage as it's easy to over-apply, let's find out if it does anything like it described. Added bunch of enzymes, aminos, 5 or so different kelp. Can be kept for 1 week in the refrigerator. Nutrients for the week are recipe foliar application. The speaker (containing a 3 KHz signal and nature sounds) is played at high volume with high treble and medium bass for 10 minutes before spraying the plants. The plants are then sprayed while it's playing and the sound is continued for another 20 minutes after spraying. Both sides of the leaves should be saturated. Treatment is best performed early in the morning/daylight, preferably in foggy 65+RH% dew. On cold mornings, spraying should be delayed until late afternoon if outdoors. Do not spray plants when the temperature falls below 50o F. The formula also can be administered in the regular weather supply, by drip-feeding, hydroponics, etc.. Interestingly, many genes that regulate and adjust gibberellin levels are influenced by the temperature. Thus, when the temperature changes during seasonal change, the plants react to this as gibberellin levels change. This starts off many processes such as flowering and fruiting. Gibberellin molecules are involved with and interact with other plant hormones. The auxin level, for example, is directly related to the gibberellin level, and the two complement each other. Ethylene, on the other hand, tends to degrade gibberellin levels. Plants use these hormones, which respond to different inputs, to balance and react to inputs from the environment. These inputs signal various environmental conditions, which the plant is keen to take advantage of. Gibberellin Structure Gibberellin molecules of different types are synthesized in many different parts of the plant. Currently, there are over 100 uniquely identifiable gibberellin molecules. These molecules are synthesized in many cells of the plant, but tend to be concentrated in the roots. This is different from auxin, which tends to concentrate at the apex. Gibberellin is a diterpenoid, which is a familiar and highly represented molecule in biochemistry. It forms the basis of molecules like Vitamin A and Vitamin E. Seen below is Gibberellin A1, which was the first identified gibberellin. Other gibberellins have the same basic structure, but have various side groups attached. These groups affect where and how the gibberellin acts, which is how gibberellin can have so many diverse and unique functions in different tissues

Ok so I put a significant amount of time into this grow. Learned a ton (everything lol) as it was my first. After the final week, I decided to harvest when the trichs were milky and clear. Few amber here and there but time constraints meant I had to chop a bit earlier than I’d have preferred. I do prefer a more uplifting cerebral effect yet realize with an indica leaning strain, having all cloudy and maybe 25% amber would have been 👌🏼. My drying process began by chopping a plant at a time, I washed the buds to get the PM or traces off (also grime from outdoor city air). I used a big bucket and did hydrogen peroxide. In heindsight I would have used baking soda as well and did a two step wash. After washing them, I hung to dry with a fan until they stopped dripping then into the tent they went for drying at roughly 68 degrees and 55% humidity. I staggered the harvest and wet trimmed about 70% of the time with the latter 30% dry trimmed. This was done for convenience and to try both ways. I dried everything for about 12-13 days until the smallest stems snapped and the larger ones were borderline cracking. I started jarring everything with humidity meters, about a half oz per smaller widemiuth jam jar. The smell was never hay-like but did vary in strength and scent from plant to plant. Almost no seeds which was pretty great to see. One of the outdoor plants had quite a few seeds so I kept that separate. It ironically had the stinkiest floral smell. So what’s the total!! After curing in jars for about a month, I weighted everything and came out with 10.5oz of cured trimmed flower and about 2 oz of sugar leaf trim which I am making canna butter with and cooking. Made some reduculously strong cookies: 11 cookies from about 10 grams of trim. Ate two and was medicated for about 24hrs 😂. Some of the buds were super dense and cured down to 58 RH easily. There were a few of the large big buds that had mass but less density and fewer trichomes. These were more red-hair visually than the others. The smoke: surprisingly smooth. The effect is energizing and uplifting at first, with a nice sedative body feeling on the second half of things. Overall, I’m super happy with the result. Learned a TON and will be modifying my approach a bit next go-around this spring. Stay tuned!!!

Skunk apple runtz I'm probably only going to keep 1 of these guys seeing the 2nd just has really bad growth so far. I'm sad about this I made this cross out my last grow and was hoping for the better end of things. The other plants is decent but we will see I hope it has the growth pattern of the lit farms Rick bobby and the bud structure of the obama runtz I grew It's looking like a good start to a week the plants are strong they are getting to the point I can let the dried dry out completely. I'm thinking by the end of this week the plants will be starting to be sold. Last week I put all the plants into my bigger 2x4 tent with my medicgrow mini sun 2 the 500w version. Only a few of the plants were ready for that light. Seems like the only plants that really have good resistance and have a strong start are the weedseedsexpress.com seeds. Shout out to weedseedsexpress.com for the strong plants. I ended up putting all the plants back into my 2x2 tent with the 55w amazon light it has alot more blue light in its spectrum. It's kinda weird b4 I switched the plants to the 2x4 tent they were getting 220umol under my amazon 55w led then when I put them under the 500w light 25% strength about 50in from plants and they were getting only about 195umol in that tent but it was stressing most the plants. I assume a larger light has more side lighting hitting the plants. I think when useing larger lights it's good to measure umols from the top but also coming from the sides. I think durring seedling stage they only need about 50% the umols coming from the side the plants as the top is receiving. When I put the plants back in the small tent about the same umols as they were getting b4 the switch and they were still a little stressed. So for a few days I put the small light at the top the tent giving them 100umols for a few hrs then 130umols the rest the day.

I chopped every plant In half just going slow trying to fill every inch turned light on to 450 watts

I left on vacation for 2 weeks and had someone top up my water. When I returned i noticed temperature was not dropping inside the tent properly due to a plugged carbon filter. Removed for now to get temperature in check. Replacement on its way.

Day 99 09/08/24 Friday Feed today, using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6, no plagron products this week due to seeing nute burn. But she has bounced back yet again from a heavy defoliation and topping last week. Day29F - Buds really taking on form. Smell of banana kicks soon as tent opens, but on touching its more of a banana sherbert still 🤤. Day 31F, noticing calmag deficiency, prior to flush, but looking st other diaries and monitoring her trichomes, she is very nearly at her end. I'm seeing 70-80% cloudy-clear trichomes, so just watering now, pH balanced with calmag to finish to the week. Pistils maturing, trichomes flooding, starting to see cloudy, will try push feeds and water for this week then if she's ready I'll flush next week 🤞✌️💚 Day33F - she has now matured well enough for me to start flushing. Seeing cloudy fat trichomes now covered all over. I'm using RQS led Carson micro to inspect. Started to flush using 2gal each time PhD water with Flawless finish Advanced nutrients. 60-70% run off. Smell is phenomenal. Camera does no justice. I will invest this Xmas and treat myself 😎💚 Monitoring closely now for them amber trichomes.

9/18: New week...fed with Boomerang and Kangaroots 9/19: Applied Axiom harpin proteins and boomboom spray 9/20: Fed full strength TPS One...decent growth. This strain really likes the Nitrogen..they were starving... 9/21: Tucked a few leaves and took some photos and a video. Looking good. Just a couple more days of 24/0... 9/22: Switched out the 560w of 5000k CCT lighting for 720w of 3000k CCT lighting and set the timer for 12/12. Decided against 13/11 with emerson effect...trying to save a few bucks on electricity. I'm keeping the lights at 30" from the tops for a day or two. 9/23: The girls loved their first night of sleep...so perky!

Day 16 since flip: I am astounded at these genetically brilliant plants. They have been amazing from seed and know at only 16 days and showing such formed flowers during their stretch is amazing. In the last few days FFT#1 has sent a few long heads to the top of the canopy with some nice forming flowers on them. The stacking is a little wider than the other 2 strains but she is still looking good for a decent yield at her size. The feeding could not be easier with 4L of water every 4 days or so. No issues with her so far FFT#5 is going crazy for size and stretch. She has a hell of a lot of great growth on her lowers too so we will have to be careful when stripping out next week not to lose them. FFT#7 is the champion so far and is huge. she is full to her canopy with approx 30 decent possible mains and a lot of lower growth the play with too for decent secondaries. These are amazing plants all round and I am looking forward to every day that they push ahead. seeing how quickly they are forming up is a pleasure and well worth the test. Well done Fast Buds.

Day 38 she’s getting to be a big girl. Happy with how she is turning out she was deff a slow starter in the beginning. Really off to a good start now.
